The basic message is when you hit a financial goal, put most of it away, and restart with all the knowledge you have, getting to that next goal, and keep repeating. Live well below your means, and soon enough you'll be able raise that standard of living and start affording more expensive things, as long as it's not buying expensive things all the time (unless it's assets to make you more money). Be in it for the long game.
Thank you for writing it out - I can hear something, and get the general message, but having it written out helps it really sink in. Many people missed the message here, and that's unfortunate, bcz it's an excellent concept ❤

I believe when you say he's broke is because he reaches Financial goal of what he wanted to do in life. And now it's hard to get up and do things when your goal is already achieved they say a lot of the people who are famous have everything you ever wanted they don't really have any more dreams so they're kind of mentally broke cuz they don't know what to do and people like you or me. You don't have all the wealth the best paying job. We have those dreams and aspirations that we haven't achieved them yet

The word you missed is “LIVED” broke my guy. You live like you’re broke when you can’t afford to spend the way you’re spending. And when you use that money to make smart investments then you too can buy your own R8, Ferrari, Rolex and maybe a big house.

Watching from the UK. I’ve been watching your videos since the beginning with CG Fitness, I remember paying the crazy import taxes to get the first Alphalete drop. Seeing how far you’ve come as an individual and how much you’ve grown your business is inspirational. When I was younger I always wanted to have your life, over the years though you’ve taught us that it’s not about having your life and doing everything the same way as you, it’s about working hard, taking risks and believing in yourself in pursuit of what we want most. Houston Texas. Good advice on finance but most Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. 60%. I make 6 figures and my friends make 6 figures and we just do enough to pay the bills and take vacations and live a nice life.
At a certain point you definitely don’t want that much liquid. I have low 6 figures liquid and multiple six figures in index funds that grow(or lose) with the market so at least the money is earning me something. Depending on your circumstances will dictate how much actual liquid cash you need to keep(business expenses, payroll, monthly expenses, etc) but anything above and beyond that should be invested into safe index funds or real estate. Just my opinion.

How do you justify whether something is worth spending the money on when it comes to business. I run a video production house, equipment is very expensive. I used to rent but slowly i will buy equipment, sometimes they dont get used a lot, some make me money. However, I am still broke, not millionaire broke, just broke because I spend all my money on buying equipments. How do you justify the ROI
