you need a new coach, why would he let you run your body down like that 4 weeks later when you got 5th at the other pro qualifier? its not like you got 3rd or 2nd. a good coach is honest and tells you when you should pull back and improve.
Yup been saying this multiple videos . All he does is cut way to hard and lose any of the little amounts of muscle he put on in the off season and crashes his body hard so dumb
Agree, his body is gona start surviving on muscle if it has no fat.
Sometimes the clients wants exceed the coaches recommendation. Alex could have suggested that but he might have lost CG as a client and that would hurt his band more than coaching CG into another show we all know he’s not ready for
No amount of dieting down can make you go from 5th place to 1st. The size isn't there. Guzman has this idea that if he "diets HARD" and suffers every second of prep that somehow he's going to be big and shredded like the Buendias and Hendricksons of the sport.

Christian, as an OG fan I respectfully say with mad love, you gotta take care of yourself man. We get you’re competing, you’d think after completing alphaland and finally hiring a team you’d free up more time but you look like you’ve aged an extra 10 years obviously from the juice, working insane hours to handle multiple businesses. You’ve been lucky you haven’t had major health issues yet. I understand your biggest fulfillment is doing these series to inspire others fitness journeys but personally it doesn’t hit the same like old times. I understand you’re in a different phase of your life so your content will reflect that as well.
Anyways sorry for wall of text, still a fan, just hope you take care of yourself. There’s more to life than constant working. More life and love Christian ❤
Yep. Old CG 6-7 years ago hit hard, but it isn’t been the same for a while. I’d rather him get healthy and prioritize himself than trying to make content again. We don’t want this high production, just down to earth vlogs. The torch has been passed and he needs to accept it

Yes but consider he is a vet. He is finally rounding out and filing in. To me he looks great. I love his rawness this series. He is just letting people more into his personal feelings.

I feel like Christian with his extreme dramatic calories will never reach his pro card. Size is much needed and less of the extreme deficit. Most builders are obviously on TRT which is the main reason why they are getting their pro card, and prevents them from ridiculous calorie deficit so dramatically. CG needs to take at least 2 years off just keep growing in a clean manner.

I wish weight didn't matter so much, you look better than last show and maybe a bit heavier.. all I know, last time you were flexing, I said to myself, that's a bodybuilder, could of competed with Frank Zane, tell me he was more than 200.. Congrats on 5th again! Maybe take a year or two off to bulk and get back on stage bigger (like we’ve all been saying) will get you that pro card.
He definitely needs to prioritize training in the off season. If he's not on gear now he should start (if he's serious about winning a pro card)
Agree totally, he needs to take a full year off and gain 7-10 lbs of stage weight. If he does that and comes in with the conditioning of the last 2 shows he should be very competitive. Right now he's getting outsized by most of his class. 5'10' and around 185-188 dry gets him there.

Tbh, it’s time to move to a new direction with your fitness. Body Building isn’t health if you have use methods that jeopardize your health. If you look at some of the OG’s, many have pivoted to endurance for actual health and fitness. It’s time to hang it up and truly get fit. .
