My pop was a Navy diesel mechanic (CPO Motor Mech) later to become a heavy equipment contractor. Pop taught me to drill out and tap stripped out threads. It can be a slow process but can save stuff you would throw away.
For your motorized trike you should look into getting a torque converter for it. I had a gokart with a 1" shaft on it and couldn't find any cheap centrifugal clutches but found a torque converter that worked on it

i really like the trike . after watching the video of you guys riding around . the trike looks so smooth on the video . i like the front engine set up . nice ride .
to help with the drift on the front wheel drive mini trike flatten the rear tires and fit pvc pipe around them and inflate tires until pvc pipe is locked in ;) will allow much more fun & drifting ;)

On Yankee trick we used on the farm with a slow leek let all the air out brake the bead from the rim just so you can get a finger between the tire and rim. Put a rag around your finger dip in to gas just enough to get it soaked rub it on the tire bead all around the tire both sides . the gas will make it sticky. Then over fill the tire about 10 percent and it works on any tubeless tire. Let it sit over night and.check the pressure and it should work
hey i think that you have done a great job ! look at a channel called muste1 and he makes some cool bikes that are belt driven that do not have a clutch and it may give you a different perspective to look ay building more creations ! keep it up and you never know where it will take you !
If only you knew how to calculate gear ratios and mechanical advantage. You should buy some bike tires that actually have a tread to replace all the street tires you have on all your projects. Great video

Just record the motor running at max throttle and look the the distance between the high points of the sound line thingy). There are several ways to do this. For this example lets use 4000 as the max rpm. Then count the teeth on the different sprockets. For this example lets use 20 as the teeth in and 100 as the teeth out. Next plug the values into the equation and solve. teeth in / teeth out = rpm out / rpm in 20 / 100 = rpm out / 4000 1 / 5 = rpm out / 4000 rpm out = 4000 / 5 rpm out = 800 Now that you have the rpm you can find your max speed. Multiply the circumference of the wheel (in feet) * the rpm out * 60. Then take that number and divide it by 5280 (the number of feet in a mile). You now have your max speed in mph when no load is being applied to the motor. Obviously the max speed will be different when load is applied (aka you are riding the vehicle), so if you can get the rpm value while the motor is under load do so; I have no clue how to factor load into the equation. Pretty much this allows you to find the speed with a given rpm and # of teeth on the sprockets and the rpm with a given speed and # of teeth on the sprockets. If anyone finds something wrong with what I've said please correct me. Note that this can also be used to find torque. I hope this wasn't incredibly hard to understand and that it helps you buy the right sprockets for future projects.
in regards to your problem with an expensive centrifugal clutch, have you though about just putting a 4spd tranny on it from like a mower or a quad? you get neutral as well as 4 spd

For the engine with a loose crank case cover just tap bigger threads and get new bolts to fit the bigger threads. saves you from buying a new engine.

On the first bike you should drill the threads out and tap them the next size up!

You should build a cycle kart, they are a lot of fun.
I'd reccomend that green tire goo for your tires. All my bikes need it lol it works amazing for slow leaks

does it help you turning the clutches around like that or cause of a short shaft
