That Flex drill also has an wrist protecting function in the case that the bit bites. Just in case you or your viewers didn't know. I use mine frequently and it's save my wrists many times already.
I’m still on the fence with flex… i’ve always been in Milwaukee guy through and through branched out to some Dewalts and some Makita but my goal to is always been in Milwaukee…. For the flex being a little bit heavier, and working over 24 feet high, that comes in to play… and for me Milwaukee, is on the lighter side and powerful… So for me I vote.Milwaukee….
Even if the flex was drastically better than the Milwaukee, I'm not going to run out and get it and potentially switch over when I've already invested in Milwaukee. Flex isn't there yet I admire them but they aren't convincing anyone to switch. The only reason I went to Milwaukee is because my tools got stolen and I wasn't impressed with the DeWalt I had at the time and this was around the Time we got the first stimulus check so that's what it went towards.
Can't wait till Milwaukee introduces there stacked lithium ! They may have been dethroned at one point or another but after being number on for so long , that just gives them the fuel to out do the competition with newer generations !
I'm glad flex came out ,so it will keep others on there toes. But every flex tool I have used has been extremely heavy. Maybe they just feel heavy cause I have always used milwaukee. I'm a Milwaukee guy, they have always been reliable for me. I think I'll stick to Milwaukee !!
Damn it boiiii! Flex finally dethroned! 💪 milwaukee has always been the best with Flex beating them with their hammer and impact in certain situations. N finally Milwaukee beat them everywhere.
Remember that he’s using the Milwaukee with high output 6 ah battery and flex has their simple 5ah instead of their 6 ah stacked lithium with which flex is much stronger with.
The truth is that the test is not even because you immediately see the color of the wood: in the place where the Milwaukee drill is used the wood is whiter and where the Flex drill is used the color of the chip is brown It means that the wood is much harder, you can also see the size of the wood chips.
Flex are fairly new tools, and afaik it isn't very international yet as I havn't seen it here (Norway). I'd say give it 5 years and see how it holds up to use. You rarely see Hilti in these "vs videos" and still they are THE #1 heavy use brand. Why? Because longevity and withstanding abuse is more important than a quarter of a second here and there. I saw a guy who had his Hilti's covered in concrete. COVERED! Like he dropped them in it and jackhammered them out! Anyone comes close to that, they have a winner, even if they are slightly slower driving a screw.
@@toolhead147 I would also like to see that! If you can, can you also include the new Dewalt DCD805. I have the DCD805 hammer drill, and I swear it’s better than my Milwaukee 2803 Gen3, and better than my other Dewalt hammer drills in masonry, brick, concrete, and block. The only thing, it’s a compact so no handle. Thank You!
I heard that the Dewalt power detect beats the Milwaukee. None of that matters if the tool won’t still perform after 5 years. Everyone knows Milwaukee is built to last. What does anyone know about Flex?
It's really tough to get a fair comparison of these tools because the Flex stacked lithium batteries are so high performing, Milwaukee needs to up their battery tech game.
One thing i don't like about bought of this drill is their auxiallary handle because i own a chinese made nanwei brand cordless hammer drill that has the same handle and it's really hard to use, a 360 handle like the one that used by dewalt and bosch is much better handle.
Flex hasn’t proven its self yet and I’ve watched a bunch of videos where the batteries have leaked, I have some flex tools and they are nice but heavy and for a newer brand they are overpriced

That's a nice feature on the tool. Save us from a broken bone.

Hopefully I can get them as soon as they come out I'm sure there Gen 4 line-up will be pushed to 100% of their true power.

True 👍 we need a new tool company to challenge the big red and yellow. Now it's forcing those manufacturers to step up the game.

thank you for the video.
I'll take my Chinese milwaukee over the Chinese flex
I'll take my Chinese flex 💪 over Chinese Milwaukee any day, he didn't even use the new batteries against the best Milwaukee had. Hahahha
Flex is made and manufactured in Germany…
Really!!
@@codyschmidtmann3992yea do your research
Hercules got more torch than Milwaukee
running a high output battery for the m18 but not the flex
The stacked lithium batteries are way better then other batteries. If only adapters were available
Got all flex tools 2 6 STACKED LITHIUM and 1 3.5 stacked lithium they have way more power to then batteries 2 there size
Thank you for the video. I hope you will test the Milwaukee against the Makita XGT 40v
It's recorded just need to edit.
Cool video, I think the flex would've destroyed the gen 4 if you used the stacked lithium
milwaukee is making their own stacked lithium
even if he used a 21700 8ah battery. not the 18650 5ah
I thought Milwaukee won
Milwaukee FuelStack, Stacked Lithium.
But just like Dewalt we will probably only see a 1.7Ah battery.
Milwaukee DID it on a 18 volt platform.... flex HAD to do it in a 24 volt platform
The real test should be the new Gen 4 va. the new stack lithium ion battery.
Also flex has stacked lithium battery that adds more power to the tools
Its also a 24 v millwuakee is 18v
You can’t just do one repetition because wood not equal inch by inch . You need do several repetition per accessorie
Do you think you could try it with a battery adapter and a power stack from dewalt
I can try but to maximize the tool power should be used with its own battery at the maximum Amp Hour size.

I wish you would've did a concrete test which I'm sure flex would win. There's many hammer drill videos where there's never a concrete test
We can a hammer drill in concrete vs video
@@toolhead147 that would be great I still liked the video

Do you think Milwaukee will come out with a stacked lithium?
Yes they should soon
@@toolhead147 was there any leaks of them like talking about stacked lithium?
Not next year, they have nothing planned yet.

Got 5 on flex and 6 ho on Milwaukee get stacked 6.0 then do it
Flex needs the 6 ah stacked battery to be in full strength like milwaukees

I would take ryobi over flex just because of tool variety

Milwaukee forever
