    Jeanette, thank you so much for this tutorial, I watch both because I wanted to finally use my reposition hoop. When I did my first design and stitched it out that basting box was there and I was bummed out it. I knew it was a way for me to get rid of it, however being a freshman at embroidery I went to find help from a embrillance user who I subscribed to. You are the best and I love your tutorials and happy hours😊Thank you again.

    Thank you for this, Jeanette! You explain everything so thoroughly. I have the 4x4 and 5x7 magnetic hoops. Definitely want to get the 5x12 one next ... birthday is in April! Yay! One thing that happened to me once using my 5x7 hoop (doesn't matter which one) with a towel - while reattaching it after trimming an applique, the towel snagged on the automatic thread cutter but I didn't realize it (like yours did on the needle). However mine wound up breaking my thread cutter and I had to have it replaced. I'm extra careful now with towels as they can snag so easily.

    Well, you convinced me! I'm ordering this right now! I have the Brother PE800 which looks to be the embroidery only version of your SE1900. I skipped through the part where you did the Embrillance since I have Sew What Pro to use my regular 5x12 hoop.
    I was using my 5x12 hoop yesterday and I thought that it would work SO much better with a magnetic version since the middle of the long sides doesn't hold as tight as I'd like it. I had NO idea that there was a magnetic 5x12 for PE800. Looks like the more expensive brand does NOT make that size! I only found Embroidex brand while searching RUclips videos on how to use magnetic hoops! And found out it comes in 5x12 for the same price as 5x7??? YES!!!
    Watching you, it seems that I'd prefer Embroidex brand with the individual magnets where you can use as many needed rather that the other brand which costs over $50 MORE for just a 5x7! Thank you SO much for this video!

    Thank you for all that you do! I purchased the 5X12 hoop immediately after seeing your video on it! I've used it several times and love, love, love this hoop! My only issue is that I think it should have come with least 8 magnets! The 5X7 comes with 6 magnets so why wouldn't the 5X12 have 8! Its not a real issue because I just use some of the magnets from the 5X7 hoop! Also, the 5X12 is less expensive than the 5X7, how can that be...lol? It is sooooo much easier than the regular 5X12 hoop! Thank you!

    This is the best video that I have seen explain everything step by step and the best part that you do is you enlarge the area and buttons that we are suppose to press. You are the best. Maybe you can do a video of embrillance doing the basics. I do not have embrillance because I feel overwhelmed. I do everything the long way, and hard way. But now seeing this video it has changed my mind, and I am thinking about getting it. Thank you for taking the time of showing us newbies. Hope you do more embrillance tutorial. Thank you. There is one question, what happens if a letter fall in the middle of the hoop. Will embrillance stitch half of the letter and in the top part continue to finish the letter?
    I hope I explained what I am trying to say.
    I will be replaying this video over and over when I buy the hoop and buy the software.
    Thanks again. Could you do the basting Stitch wider ? In other words, so that when you embroider a design or a name it doesn't do it on top of the basting stitch.
    I would like to see a video using this hoop doing a design with a name.

    • @BoricuaSewingCrafts
      @BoricuaSewingCrafts  2 года назад

      Hi Cookie Cookie, Yes the software will split the design in half. Don't be afraid of the software. I also get overwhelmed at times so you are not alone. Just take things one step at a time and before you know you got it! I started this journey knowing nothing at all. I have a playlist of videos of Embrilliance on my channel already that you can watch covering the basis. Also if you are on facebook, you can join our group "Embroidery Happy Hour Adventures" to ask questions and get help. Folks in the group are very friendly. I also host Embroidery Happy Hour every Friday LIVE at 8pm EST. You can join in the fun there. You just have to subscribe to the channel so you can comment on the chat discussions and ask questions! I love the way you explain so clearly. This video has helped me a lot.
    I have a question. A lady wants me to embroider two beach towels for her with Barbie and each of the girls names on them. The one name has 7 letters and she wants the fonts to be 2inches..so I would use my 5x12 hoop. My question is...this is a lot of work and time. I don't have embrillance but maybe could use the express after I learn it better...what on earth would you charge for this embroidery?? She has the beach towels. Oh I also have the Barbie fonts installed in my se1900.
    Thank you so much...I love all you teach me. Sylvia

    • @BoricuaSewingCrafts
      @BoricuaSewingCrafts  Год назад

      Hi Syliva. I would charge about $30 a towel. You will need to upgrade the embroidery software because you will need 2 files to be able to use the 5x12 hoop. Also depending on the material of the towel, you might have to add knockdown stitches. Which will increase the price.

      Hi TL. I know they work fine with the bath towel. It will depend on the thickness of the quilt. I would give it a try. If it doesn't work out you can always return it. Also you can purchase extra magnetics to get additional support to hold the item in place as well. Hope this helps!

    I'll tell you a fantastic secret now. I simply cover the frame of the hoop with fabric. Then I cut a hole inside the size of the hoop. Like in the dimensional film of the hoop. I stitch the hole along the edges, for strength. And I always attach any fabric with small needles to the fabric along the edges of the hoop. I don't spare the needles, I attach them every 3-4 cm. That's it! Universal hoops are ready for any fabric. And you don't need to spend up to $500 on these unreliable hoops with magnets! I wrapped all the hoops in fabric like this. Of all sizes.

    Thank you -but you didn’t show how to center your design with this hoop.
