    Thank you so much for your tutorial! You went though every step thoroughly! A lot of stuff other people skip in tutorials, you covered. Us beginners really
    Appreciate that because something people see as common sense, is not so common with us beginners! Thanks again!

    I find hooping the garment way more secure especially if it’s an appliqué. And as you do, I always use poly mesh and cutaway. Always gives me excellent results and no puckering.

    Thank you for the Full Tutorial on the Brother PE machine. Ashley, can you possibility do a step by step full tutorial video on how to setup one of your Brother machines you have, from already having a hooped garment on a Mighty Hoop, to setting up the proper setting on the LCD of the machine, where one can find the hoop sizes, where one can find the design size, and how it can be changed if possible, plus tracing, etc. Also can please talk about what one should be aware of when working with the machine, and any suggestions, and tips you can offer. Thank you for any help you can offer via RUclips video for those that have the same machines you have and are just starting out. I sincerely appreciate you, thank you for sharing.

      I specifically use bobbin thread. It is a different weight than embroidery thread. The exact weight of bobbin thread recommended for each machine can vary.

    I've seen other tutorials that use wash away embroidery stabilizer.. is the heat n bond in replace of it?

    • @AshleyMonograms
      @AshleyMonograms  6 месяцев назад

      The heat n bond is meant to secure the fabric to the garment to help keep it smooth with wash & wear. I would not suggest using wash away stabilizer behind the shirt as a stabilizer but the clear wash away stabilizer that goes on top of the garment can help with cleaner stitching. I personally do not use this often on items without a lot of pile or loft, that's just my preference!

I have those same machine and only played around with it when i first got it many hears ago. I now have to learn all over again. Also. I have the scan and cut vinyl machine and I can San my own drawings to it to cut is there a way I can use my own designs on this older one. I know they have came a long way.

    • @AshleyMonograms
      @AshleyMonograms  Год назад

      There's not a direct way to scan an image to embroider on this machine. It would need to be digitized in software on a computer. There are some newer machines that will auto-digitize drawings, but they are much larger/expensive machines.

      I do a logo on the left and name on the right. When there's no logo/icon, I do left side by default unless the customer asks otherwise. I do about 6" +/- down from the shoulder seam.
