Thanks for the video, the steps were very clear. Hat came out nice. Like the thread. I have a cap hoop but haven't use it yet. Will definitely give it a try.

When I look at the spool, it doesn’t even look like it has anything red or green. It just looks like shades of gold to brown. The stitching looks great!
Hi there. Great video!! Hoping you may know the answer to this question. My hoop keeps wanting to home for the registration and the foot hits the clamp for the visor and knocks the entire carriage out of registration. I have a Brother Brand NQ 1700E machine. Hi Madeline. I found this on Etsy. The shop name is called Hat Hoop. Here is the link: www.etsy.com/listing/216928590/hat-hoop-for-brother-babylock-5x7?ref=yr_purchases
I’m thinking of purchase one of these machines for my custom clothing business. How many hats do you think I could produce per hour? I plan on buying an extra hoop as well so I can setup the next hat while one is being embroidered.
Hi David! How many you can make within an hour will depend on the design you are embroidering in the hat. If the design has more stitches and color changes then it will take longer. As for purchasing an extra hoop for the hats. I don't recommend investing in a second one. The hats are very easy to hoop. It's not time-consuming so if best you are probably just saving about 5 minutes of your time. I would use the money for something else like more stabilizers or threads. Hope these suggestions help.
I absolutely love your Channel and your voice! Your first attempt at embroidering on a hat came out wonderful! You go girl!! I have the same type of thread. I absolutely love them. Just to let you know. You were using the wrong spool cap. Look in your manual, it's accessory number 29. It's a mini gray piece that inserts in the top of the spool. Remember what you said. Always read your manual LOL

What size logos would you recommend for hats (don't want to go too big) and do you have a good source for kids hats, sized for kids? One size fits all, really don't.
the logo on a hat shouldn't be bigger than 130mm x 50mm. I would print out a templete and position it against the hat to make sure you get the look you want.
It depends on the word. You have to make sure it hits in the front of the hat. I would say don’t go higher than an inch. I design them first in Embrillance and then stitch them out.
