When I was homeless last year this was the song I'd listen to when going to and from work.
"When you've reached the bottom line, the only thing to do is climb, pick yourself up off the floor, come on whatcha waiting for?"
Back on my feet now; and doing well.
Thanks to B.A.D. for the moral support lol

Witnessed a Judge sentence double murder, 2 life without parole. Defense will fight it and it will go on from 3 year to maybe 2 more. The children of the murdered parent NEED CLOSURE. I drank myself into oblivion and then took 3 valium. I am still trembling those poor children. The judge gave the murder a 5 minute talk about good things he can still do with his life in prison. UMMMM the defense Lawyer JOB. Victims should NOT have to hear that from the Judge who was to deliver justice. BUT it continues. you bet I want to get called for jury duty. I will be escorted out the building yet again. I repeat you this they would not know justice if it FUK em all night. best wish 2023.

I love how Mick brought in Don Letts to the band. Don was a HUGE inspiration to Mick and The Big Audio Dynamite sound because of his Reggae and Dub Step sound he liked and had as a DJ during the mid to late 70s Punk Scene in England. Don was also known and famous for his “cone spliffs” that he would roll and sell to the Punks and Rude Boys at his DJ shows back then. Almost all the Punk band members back then considered Don’s “music”, that he would DJ at the clubs, their “soundtrack” that they listened to on top of their usual bands that they listened to. Don was a HUGE influence on the Punk scene back then.

Mick shared his water bottle with me between songs on a scorching hot summer night show at a small club in Philly during the BAD2 days. Love all the BAD stuff. I’ve heard people say it sounds dated now. Maybe a bit, but like they say, painting and sculpture is art to decorate space, music is art to decorate time. BAD pioneered a style during a certain period of time that has had ripple effects to this day. Great stuff.

@Doug Richardson I loved the Clash but really wasn't old enough to see them live. When B.A.D. and Mick put out this album in 85 I loved it and still do 35 years on . I was 18 when it came out and I saw them in a club ( can't remember for sure either in the Village or just below it at a late night show. I remember the band was wearing kind of like semi - hazmat outfits! It was really cool from what I recall (I'm sure I was rather compromised). I love Joe but Mick was always my favorite Clash member and he was very innovative.

@Doug Richardson Very true. When you let personal egos get in the way creativity and productivity can suffer and you have to part ways. I say this not from musical experience but building and construction differences. It's not easy to have a partnership without major disagreements, especially when you taste success to some level. Sorry it's late and I can be a long-winded insomniac. Thanks for your insight.
