Hello sir… I hope this comment reaches you.. I know this video is from a few years ago but hoping that you still have access and view comments.. I’m a beginner woodworker and my father did work working as well and always wanted me to get into it but I never really found interest in it.. well, about 2 months ago I actually did get into it, and then my father ended up passing away.. it’s been really rough but long story short, I have a brand new miter saw and table saw I just recemtly bought brand new and I can’t find a single person to help me figure out what I need to do to get this liter saw set up correctly even though it’s supposed to be out the box… I have no one to ask, I’ve been calling dewalt for the past 2 weeks and their customer service is prob the worst I’ve ever had to deal with and they are of no help at all.. I watch your video over and over I’ve watched other videos over and over so idk if I’m just supposed to give up or what… I spend just about 5 hours for the past few days each day trying to figure this out I’d like to get going and start the project for my moms bday gift.. If there’s any way at all u could help I would be so grateful … My email is jdubz187@icloud.com .. if I do get a email from u I can provide phone number if needed.. hope this gets to you… Thank you
I'm confused. How does no wobble then mean your blade is straight and true? I feel like a bunch of steps were left out here. Next time, I'd suggest filming the actual calibration rather than talking about it after you've done it.
Awful video! The saw is cropped out the entire time, you ambiguously point off screen and refer to “bolts” with no reference or detail and you never actually calibrate anything. Please stop making these or give them better titles like “guy talks about things out of frame”
great video great saw and awesome dog
your outfit reminds me of my friend steves dad
he passed away from cancer but he was into carpentry like you are
Your 30 years of experience is better than any college degree 👍🏻
Any video that has clear instructions, a DW715 and a dog cameo is ok in my book
how to set dept gauge so you don't cut all the way through? I'm looking to cut only half for x joints Thanks

My blade cuts to the left more at the top of my cut than at the bottom where it’s tight to the fence how can I fix that
Did you ever find out the fix to this?..thks..jc
we cant see what you are doing. you assume we can see what you are doing. You should put the camera closer.
You didn’t adjust anything. Poor video

you don't show how to MAKE any adjustments; just that your saw is adjusted correctly
Great video on how to do adjustments that show absolutely no detail as to how to do the adjustment! Extremely poor video
