1:14 I removed the screw but cannot remove the washer, it looks stuck on the blade. What could be the issue? Many thanks,

I would try tapping on it with a screwdriver, it’s probably just gunky or possibly rusty.

Hit it from behind with a rubber mallet. It worked!. Thank u Sir @@measure_once_cut_twice

I believe i lost that washer to my dws779. I can't find any videos showing the assembly of the loose pars on the other side of the blade

I wonder if that original blade just needs a cleaning. A recent video from Stumpy Nubs talks about blade cleaning. ruclips.net/video/Ny4__ajxVaU/видео.html

I thought about trying to clean it, but there's a HUGE difference now and I think it was more than just being dirty.
