Welcome to your Yoga Nidra practice, this 30 min yoga nidra guided meditation for deep relaxation is meant to help reset your nervous system. Thank you for such a beautiful experience! ✨🙏 This was my first time creating an inner refuge. It was in a crystal cave behind a massive waterfall. The sunlight was shining through the water like a massive stained glass window. The ground was carpeted with beautiful moss. There were healing stones everywhere for me to sit and lay on. A place to heal, rejuvenate, and find peace. Also to commune with my higher self and guides. 💖💖💖

Wow - that was SOOO beautiful I didn't want to leave! My refuge was a very big, white comfortable bed with lots of books, notebooks, pencils.... (the evening is when I feel safest and do journaling, reading etc in bed) But my bed was in a garden under a huge tree with the sun shining through the rustling leaves, birds singing, and there was a babbling stream a few metres away. A wooden table and bench nearby with coffee and cake (coffee addict I'm afraid - it really comforts me in the otherwise panicky mornings)......and the smell of wild garlic (from happy childhood memories of walking in the woods with my grandparents). What more could a girl want??!! 😀

Thank you Ally. We are days away from likely having to say goodbye to one of our much loved, but very unwell, cats. I was seeking peace for the challenge ahead, when she came to join me, lying on my chest, both of us unaware of where this would take us. It was a perfect moment as you led us to a safe place together. I'm not sure that the universe really cares enough about us to send us this kind of message, but I do believe in people, kindness and generosity. Thank you so much 🐾

I’ve been practising the physiological sigh probably daily, which certainly sustained me throughout the latest challenges and travel . This was Delicious deep rest thank you. I fell asleep actually. Ally, cold structured words cannot express the deep intergalactic healing and connection to the Universe that occur when I practise Yoga Nidra with you. I had been obsessing about accumulating theoretical knowledge about philosophy of Yoga, buddism, Hinduism, discovering Eastern wisdom just recently and feeling "late for the party" (I'm a Westernen); jumping between Hatha yoga, Ashtanga, vinyasa, not sure what I should focus on...Your practice allowed me to calm down, quiet down, digest everything slowly and let all the nutrients sink in slowly. Now I don't feel I'm late anymore. Less is more. Heartfelt thank you. May you be happy, peaceful and blissful.

My inner resource appeared with my maternal grandmother and I sitting in a Japanese garden. A small Buddha statue stood in the middle of the garden surrounded by wildflowers. I could smell a hint of lavender occasionally fill the air. The taste of a delightful tea touched my lips and tongue.
When my eyes met with the eyes of my grandmother, I sensed our heart’s smiling. No words were needed. As our presence grew, so did love grow. I sensed more beings around me and looked behind me. To my delight, I saw all the animals that have transpired sitting with us. Here we were, sitting together as love.
It was beautiful. Serene. Tranquil. And incredibly heartwarming.

My Inner refuge suprised me because I thought it be a beach or somewhere hot, but what came up was me sitting inside near a fireplace with a hot drink in hand and watching snow slowly falling from the sky. My space was warm, cozy, peaceful. I was in the company of my loving husband and our car, surrounded by the sights and feels of the home where we raised our family and continue to make memories. Bread was baking in the oven while I was wrapped in a blanket on my favorite couch, steamy cup of coffee in hand, gazing out the window.m, listening to the fire crackle. Thanks Ally. That was really wonderful. I listened to all three of your inner refuge yoga nidras this week: the one in the beginning yoga nidra series, the one you referenced to in the first intermediate workshop, and this one. They are all very different. Your description in this one of the somatic feelings was incredibly accurate. Hey Ally, thank you for this - I wonder if there's a technique for if we are transported somewhere that parts of us find alarming, when visiting our inner refuge 🤣I was transported to a place that I spent with a former partner, & I managed to hold myself here and soak in all of the nourishing things about it - including their presence, but part of me in the vulnerable deep state found this unsafe & it took some tending to... Any advice welcome! Perhaps this was me meeting an edge 😅 lots of love and gratitude to you x
