Elvis eating a Microphone will never stop being funny
Exactly what im saying lollll
It's funny because it's accurate
LaWd HavE MercY WoOoAHhHh - *eats mic*-
Ive never heard anything so horny 😩
“lord have mercy-WOAAAAOW”
It’s hard to think of these out of context when you’ve seen it 10 times 😂
LMFAOO right
That is so funny and so true!
man im only at 6 😭
omg so glad to know some other people saw it as many times as i did! i was starting to feel crazy lol
Agreed. Austin’s portrayal of Elvis was spot on perfection. My dad was even impressed.
The "you're fired!" scene is award-worthy, alone.
Never even really happend that way. You know that, don't you?
@@ronaldsnippe813 That is correct. He did fire him though. If he would've done like in the movie, things might've been different for Elvis.
@@hamhocksandflipflopsfarms probably
@@ronaldsnippe813 Yes, I am aware the scene isn't historically accurate. That wasn't my point. Austin Butler's performance is award-worthy in that scene because of how powerful it is.
@@GhettoWerewolf Yes, it basically just shows Butler’s tremendous acting ability.
“I’m in the best shape of my life” proceeds to faint in the next scene:
💔
Ikr 😭💔
Actually this didn't happen until 1977 when Elvis was overweight in the movie during the scene it's not 1977 ?
@@davidfranson5940 I guess it still applies because he was taking drugs and stuff constantly? And he did faint several times too I bet
@@marissacrouse9100 I've seen this documentary on youtube and the reason why elvis become obese is because of the drugs he is taking constantly. The size of his organ grew twice the normal size his body was supposed to have.
"we still have here comes Santa Claus!"
"SANTA CLAUS IS BRINGING YOU A LAWSUIT"
Just imagine Elvis going to court and Santa Clause is there on the witness stand

That was an actual sound bite from Elvis’ performance but u wouldn’t be able to tell it wasn’t Austin unless you’d seen the original clip, very impressive
*dutch screaming in the next scene*
Austin managed to find the essence of Elvis so well and so perfect! Deserves the Oscar, it was the role of his life so far.
I HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS!
@@kissxes2592 WOW!
Yes! Thank you for saying it. He worked hard for it and he nailed it! OSCAR!
He does, but voters could forget it by the end of the year
@@marcor7044 I do not think so.
You forgot to include “Ah, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!” This line always gets me, it’s so funny!! 🤣😂
True anyone has the clip.
He's not even wearing the sweater!
WHERE IS HERE COMES SANTA CLAUSE?! ELVIS SINGS HERE COMES SANTA CLAUSE!
THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CHRISTMASS
oh if only he knew
YOU’RE FIIIRRRRRRRED!!! (Elvis said calmly)
…. You’re fired
It’s the second one that he said calmly
PFFFFT 🤣

It was honestly scary to watch, I thought he was Elvis for a second omg
@@track13byMM my mom grew up on Elvis and adores that scene! She thinks it’s so uncanny how much he captures Elvis in that moment
That’s because Austin butler literally laughs like elvis

I did too! In the the theater when I saw that Hollywood sign scene when he laughed I stopped and was like … 😳 that’s Elvis
Elvis: YOU'RE FIREEEEEEED!
This scene is amazing! Austin showcased his talent beautifully.
I know he got Elvis rage down perfect!
And then the mic drop, literally!
@@deniseb.7795 so BADASS!!!
The Col. saying “he’s white…” is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen out of context
True! Elvis was artistically black in body, heart and soul!😍🤩😍 No doubt about that!
Elvis saying “that was the most embarrassing performance of my life” kills me every time
The “I will always love you” scene makes me wanna cry.
Me too .... so so tragic.
+Arianna Rose Same here. I personally feel like that not only was he saying that to Priscilla. He was, figuratively speaking, also saying it to the audience.
I really cried ahaha
SAMEeEe
Too bad it wasn’t real and there dynamic wasn’t that passionate after the divorce
Butler did a fantastic job here. In an interview, he went into the different voices and inflections throughout the years and it was very interesting, but his angry Elvis voice was super convincing and an underrated aspect of his performance.
there's a scene after the 68 comeback special where the colonel and Elvis are fighting
the SASS Elvis throws, I have no idea how no one has caught it yet
colonel says something and elvis literally goes
"mm. ... mhm. ... *smacks lips* 😒" and it is GOLD.
PLEASE A PART 2 😭
ALSO
"thats absolutely not gonna be in the special."
"make a note, that should be in the special."
That smack came naturally from his eating the French fries!
omg this is my favorite. i heard austin improvised! amazing
literally can't get enough of this movie 🙌
Same here. I’ve watched it 4 times so far.
Me too
I watched it again a few days ago
Now I wanna watch it with a relative😂
3:28 that’s not acting. That’s actually Tom Hanks being amazed of the acting Austin is doing
Do we know that for sure, or is it you guessing? I’m genuinely curious
@@octolingo1892 perhaps both
@@octolingo1892 obviously we don't know for sure but I mean during that scene I was like "Jesus Christ" he portrayed the anger and hatred well
@@DeeRio9546 oh no yeah absolutely he KILLED that scene
@@octolingo1892 Unfortunately, it's false. This scene are usually recorded in different times with one actor looking at the place we're the other should be but without him. Anyway, Tom Hanks is also a good actor so it looks amazing.
no because did anyone else got a big fright at 3:00 to 3:10 please tell me i wasn’t the only one, either way austin did a great performance and it’s a memorable scene who deserves an oscar for it! so proud of him! 😭😭🤍
+miss girl I was frightened as well. In fact, I would be frightened watching just about any scene where he gets angry. What makes this scene stands out is that his anger was gradually building and he initially came across as sarcastic. It’s as if Elvis was kind of trying to control his temper, but the revelation that he’s been used and duped by Parker for so long was too much for him, and he went off. The suspenseful music, the way the scene was shot, the tension, and especially the acting was AMAZING. Austin did a PHENOMENAL JOB in this scene as well as the entire film.
I’ve seen the movie 5 times, and it’s always so uncomfortable to watch, but yeah, I agree that Austin Butler did killed it! Although I don’t know if it happened in real life, but it does show the deterioration of Elvis and Parker’s relationship
@@bookFreak8191 i heard about it and some said, that particular scene didn’t happen apparently! :)
i got a big fright during the scenes at 2:42 2:48 & 3:10, but i guess that's how baz wanted the audience to feel so it worked
@@theemissgirl Right, although he did fire him backstage. The scene where he does it on stage was for dramatic purposes but really good nonetheless!
the fact i have seen this film once and remember every converasation and scene that happened in this vid shows how good a film it was
“Security, SECURITY bla blah blah”
I still love the easter egg of austin butler shooting a tv when mentioning Sharon tate as a reference to once upon in Hollywood where he played tex holding a vrry similar gun
Austin is astonishing as Elvis. Seeing him now vs all his Nickelodeon roles is so great. 2:40 will always be funny. I found a video of the real Elvis playing with the mic a lot. It's so funny.
One of my favourite scenes is the girls losing control and screaming. Gives you a great idea of the affect he had! Love it!
That was fucking terrifying
And his father saying to his mum, "hurt him? They look like they wanna ... ". Yes they did, lol x
“lord have mercy” *eats microphone*
Austin Butler's acting as Elvis Presley is amazing
Elvis actually did eat his microphone as a joke in real life
Yea there’s lot of vids out thete
I cannot stress this enough, Austin Butler is HOT af
Vernon eatting a fucking sandwich whilst Elvis and his mom are arguing makes me cackle every single time
Right I never knew why they put that in 🥪 😂
Tom Hanks' face at 3:28 tho... 💀 I can't

If this Film gets Nominated for an Oscar. I Will Watch the Oscars.

Elvis’ intrusive thoughts winning everytime he held a microphone is beautiful
This is my favorite movie!! Austin and Baz did amazing job on this movie!! Definitely Oscar worthy
My favorite was his line about singing to turtles
I wouldn't consider it actual turtles, but I might be missing something
LOL yes I laugh everytime
my favorite line is “CUT THE HORSE SHIT”
I'm so glad that this movie has given rise to a huge Elvis & Austin fandom! Elvis was a brilliant artist & a beautiful human. Austin captured his essence beautifully & I'm just really happy that Elvis 2022 happened!
I fully agree!!
a good artist? maybe.. he stole from black people. a beautiful human? he dated a 14 yr old when he was 24. 🤷
elvis groomed a 14 year old priscilla but sure call him a beautiful human😭😭
don't say that on black twitter😒😒
but for his contributions to music, Elvis is goated
@@danielpreval4062 Yeah cause y’all know he was a cultural appropriator of black music and artist. Y’all just mad that he’s been called out for getting fame from stealing from black singers of that time.

Dude your subtitling during Elvis’ fight with the Colonel was such a mood I really watched that scene like
👁👄👁
I was born 3 years after Elvis's death, and all my life I imagined how it would be to be in one of his shows... well, this movie made my dream come true 🥰
That’s great. Me and my boyfriend were going to go see him I Vegas when he died. I cry at the end of this movie every time. But Austin Butler is faaaannntaaastic!
I was born shortly after he died. He died toward the end of August '77 and I was born Oct. 4th '77. Only a little over a months difference. Such a tragedy! My dad told me he attended 2 of his concerts, one in Buffalo, New York when Elvis was still in good health (my dad said he was Very energetic!) and he attended another concert in Las Vegas after Elvis had gained a lot of weight and mainly sat at his piano to play it and sing during his performance. My dad also said that Elvis did more talking to the audience than actually singing during that performance.
Damn!
He yelled in Elvis voice.
Well done.
Listen to the Vegas rehearsal loud with headphones on the album when it morphs into the real show ....very well mixed and thought out ....its a killer
2:54...I feel so guilty for laughing at that cut but oml
Ikr same I keep finding it amusing the way he said that omg

“Gaddam I’m in the best shape of my life” is one of the funniest scenes. I don’t know if ironically or intentionally
i’m sorry but while watching the movie i couldn’t stop laughing at the part when he was being threatened to go to jail bc of his dancing💀
This movie was so damn good! Austin better win an Oscar after that legendary performance.
The part about the flashy editing and the “best shape of my life” had me dying 😂😂🤣
Same 😂😂😂
While it’s not shown in the video, the scene where Elvis reassures his mother that nothing will separate them, only to have it cut to the Colonel staring down the lens and saying, “Wanna bet?” makes me lose my absolute mind.
You can't have spoilers when it's based off a real story.
Wow,this kid should be nominated for an Academy Award ,so should Tom Hanks just for the prosthetics alone ,but of course he’s a great actor as well .
Yes! I sent a message to the Academy on Twitter. Do the same and pass it on. He worked very hard and deserves it like nobody before.

What more can I say about this great movie that I watch five times?Absolutely every scene and all actors did incredible job! Austin Butler in every minute show that he is very talented. How he sounds like Elvis, his moves, dancing,I like his look too all that blow me away like nothing else before. This is role of his life and he deserves Oscar100%!!!

the loud sudden "GODAMN" always gets me
his eating the mic will live in my head rent free
Elvis was my dads idol! Still is. He absolutely loved this movie and thought Austins portrayal was amazing!
Perfectly captures how unhinged this movie is. A+ video.
Elvis is probably the most heart warming, funniest entertainer ever
So much work for every word said and everything he played to portrait Elvis! Awesome!
"Elvis" (2022) is an amazing film in my opinion. I hope Austin Butler and Baz Luhrmann get to receive Oscar nominations. I am very disappointed Luhrmann did not obtain any Oscar nominations for one of my favorite movies, "The Great Gatsby" (2013).
The silence that was in the theater when Elvis was yelling at colonel on stage after finding out what he did…it was immaculate! Goosebumps and wide eyes is all ima say😭
As cool as this movie was, gotta admit that, depending on the accuracy, Elvis had a terrifying temper….
How could you not be, surrounded by Yes men, wannabes and control freaks. It would make anybody insane. I’m surprised they didn’t follow him into the john, zero privacy.
You mean with Colonial Parker? Yah. And it was justified. The guy was a psycho that used him and worked him literally to death. He died 8 years after his comeback. 42 should be the peek of life.
Even towards his family and bandmates
I mean he did have a lot of pressure on him so I can understand it.
anyone in his position would have acted the way he did sadly. No one man should ever be subjected to that much pressure
That laugh… Elvis possessed him for those few seconds
Austin gave us a magnificent beautiful powerful delivery, he is massively talented and absolutely mesmerizing.
God everyone in the cinema got goosebumps when this scene aired 2:58 ‘You’re fiirreeedd!’ Spectacular movie and performances, I hope the major Best Leading and Supporting award ceremonies give nominations to Butler and Hanks
He really wanted a Christmas song it was hilarious 😂
this was incredible actually

I want a 4 hour extended edition of this movie. Baz said he’s open to releasing it one day. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Hopefully it's sooner rather than later!
@@Lightdion I hope so! But he did say it would be a while. He takes long breaks in between his projects
Tom Hanks was perfect for this villain. Such a great performance by these two.
“God damn I’m in the best shape of my life” proceeds to collapse
This movie is Intense
“Make a note, ‘𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 will be in the special.’”
This intro is such a good early youtube style, thank you
Is it wrong that I would get a little scared watching the scenes where Austin as Elvis would get angry? I know that Elvis had a bit of a temper. But, YIKES. I'd be a little intimidated if I were in a room with him, and he would get that angry. And even though it's not historically accurate, I LOVE the scene where Elvis fires Parker while onstage. His rage was palpable.
👍🏼 It is a myth that he fired him from the stage, never happened that way. True, as I’ve studied, he did have a temper but didn’t express it that way publicly. The scene basically showcases Butlers tremendous acting ability.
@@TV-np9yp I know. Even Elvis would know to handle stuff like that privately. And yes, the scene does showcase Austin's tremendous acting ability. He went from sarcasm to rage building up to explosive rage to sadness. Notice that when Parker rushed to the stage to get to Elvis after the curtains fell, the way Elvis was looking at him and finished telling him, "You're fired," was almost as if Elvis was looking at him and asking him, "How could you betray me?" And it's amazing that this is Austin Butler's first theatrical lead role and his acting, in my opinion, was way better than Tom Hank's.
@@Gabreya Yes, Butler was truly stellar. I enjoyed Hanks performance too, even though he received a lot of negative reviews. The whole movie is just fabulous. I think us seasoned fans can be reasonable and let go off the historical errors and fabricated scenes because the movie basically painted Elvis in a positive light. Which he deserves.
@@TV-np9yp I thought that Tom Hanks was great in the film. Though, I don’t think the film completely showed Elvis in a positive light. It showed him as a human being with a lot of flaws, yet his heart was in the right place.
@@Gabreya That’s true. I guess I mean that the positive reception of the movie has caused people to think better of Elvis, become interested in him. Maybe feeling empathy for him. I think it’s pushed people to view more footage of Elvis and they can then see he was very talented and basically an over all happy, good natured, generous, kind man with an awesome sense of humor. The movie did positive things for Elvis. Thanks for your positive thoughts 👍🏼
