We’re literally witnessing history. This man went straight from being a minor actor to being a huge superstar. He’s so humble, I literally have never fallen harder for an actor.
For real
Kind of like Joseph Quinn
I keep thinking the parallels, how he played a man who was a SUPERSTAR, and he’s getting to to feel what it’s like in real life. Wild!
if I had just seen a picture of him I would have been like ‘yeah, he’s handsome’ but oh my god his voice and the way he talks and presents himself is just….😳 I can see why he became such a big thing recently
I remember seeing him everywhere as a guest star in a bunch of Disney Channel and Nickelodeon shows, basically he was a C-list actor in Disney, that's low compare to Zendaya who was an A lister in Disney. The fact that he's Elvis now is absolutely insane
one thing u can count on in every single buzzfeed puppy interview: “what was the question?”
😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Austin is so humble. He was amazing as Elvis, he better win an Oscar
This guy is so freaking charming. I hope as fame comes his way he handles it right.
Right??
ong ‼️
Big facts
I would be shocked if he won although he should. Elvis was never a Hollywood elite and mostly conservative. They still remember that in LA!
the way he stopped that puppy fight was everything. "hey hey, no no no no no"
Yeah it was. It was like a father figure moment there.
And then the puppy was never seen again.
He said it in his Elvis voice too or was that his normal voice?
I really can’t tell, but it actually sounds like he lost his voice
@@SCHfan-jb4zo I think he’s still doing the elvis voice. He practiced it for months so I think it won’t go away that fast😅
He practiced it for 3 years lmao@@samanthaaa1940
im so proud of him!! he went from being a small actor on disney and nickelodeon to being elvis himself. finally hes getting the attention he always deserved!! also, he was so nice with the puppies so this was adorable to watch.
That’s crazy he was considered a small actor because I loved him growing up. I feel like he was in a lot of stuff I’ve watched and he was my childhood crush along with Harry styles Lmao
@@AquariusReadsFantasy ikr
it’s so surreal like he has my heart in those days and he still does now. im really proud of him truly

@@my-dd3wc OMG YES
Chris Evans and Austin Butler in one week? Two summer blockbuster stars, so that must mean Hemsworth is next.
Yes, PLEASE !!!
@Ryou Koizumi Yeah, I was confused that they still didn't air that
For some reason i want a johnny depp puppy interview
Better be Miles Teller

So cute when he breaks up the fight between the puppies “oh hey- no, no, no.” ❤️❤️❤️

what is the minute? please(:

@@abbiecampfield8955 Thank u!(:
At least the puppies didn't bite Austin. Speaking of which, if the character he played in "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood" (Tex) was a singer, he'd really be able to hit those high notes after what Cliff Booth's dog did to him. The dog in that film likes balls (not those kind of balls!).
Austin truly deserves all the attention he is getting right now. He is such a humble guy and incredible actor, he totally smashed it with this role so GO WATCH ELVIS !!
I agree! He was totally amazing in the film, Elvis! It really affected me emotionally - I couldn't even speak afterwards.
i agree watched it and it was amazing
YESSS go watch it it is my favorite movie!
I know he had like 2 years of voice coaching for Elvis and it’s not something you can just shake off, but I’m really digging his accent.
Oh me too
So am I. I'm not complaining tbh
❤️❤️❤️
So o take it he doesn't usually sound like that?
@@HopeKing yea it’s crazy! try watching a comparison video of his voice before and after, it’s shocking how different he sounds
"Bring in the puppies!" I love how excited Austin was to meet the puppies, and the affectionate ways he speaks to them. 🐶😍
Merry him then

don’t think i’ve ever fallen harder for an actor this quickly. he’s truly amazing.
Me since he hosted snl last week. 😩 instantly in love 😭
I love how Austin Butler says "BRING IN THE PUPPIES!" with his Elvis voice!
This guy is the James Dean of today. An attractive actor that went from doing small gigs to becoming a superstar overnight
Funny you say that because Elvis wanted to be like James Dean
@@jamesmitchell1041 I remember an interview where someone accused Elvis of being just another James Dean and Elvis replied “I would never compare myself to James Dean, because James Dean was a genius”
Crazy to think Austin at 30 already outlived James Dean by 6 years
@@Kelvinack I know right, insane to think about how young James Dean really was when he died
He even looks like James Dean
Austin Butler seems like the dude we all want to be friends with.
Exactly!
Exactly. He seems so chill and friendly 😍
i agree
The kind you'd want your daughter to bring home.
@@sharonjensen3016 And even if you break up, your dad will still ask you about him every now and then.
I can understand why he still sounds like his character, imagine having to play a character for months. I think after a while he'll go back to his original voice.
not months… YEARS. He started filming before covid and at to practice his voice while they were shut down so he talked like that for about 2-3 years
I think it’s fascinating! I wonder if his old voice will come back on its own gradually, or if he’ll have to actually try to relearn it?
Either way, I don't know why people are making such a big deal about it. We know he went through serious vocal training to get to his voice today. It's his life, and even if he keeps it, it doesn't matter lol
Yeah, you can also hear his original voice slowly coming through in and out with certain words, so it may take time for it to come back fully
Funny he actually did Elvis for about 4 yeatd because he started practicing right before Covid and obviously when the pandemic hit the movie took a brief hiatus
Ok buzzfeed now we need an Austin Butler thirst tweets vid, like right now.
he might be too bashful for that 💀 it’s gonna be a video full of “Oh God” and flushed laughing
@@i_violetexpress_i that's the Austin Butler content I need! He's so cute when he's embarrassed lol

The way he kept trying to scoop the puppies back when they tried to run away was literally so funny
"It's so hard to answer questions when you're playing with puppies." Too right, it's so easy to get distracted with those puppies around!
I saw Elvis last night and it was INCREDIBLE holy smokes. Austin killed it and I'm really hoping to see him in more huge leading roles soon. Genuinely seems like such an amazing person too! ALSO THIS INTERVIEW WAS ADORABLE ahhhhhh :D
He's playing an antagonist in Dune 2 next year.
I loved the movie and him omg
He was bloody brilliant. He sent me on a rollercoaster of emotions!
Yes! Looking forward to see him compete with Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya! 🙌
I can't believe how *gorgeous* he is.
Yeah neither can I
He handled those puppies fighting very calmly and well
I love how the puppies are trying to run away (not from him, just because they are puppies) and he literally will not let them. 😂
They're his puppies now.
If you haven't seen Elvis yet, go see it! OSCAR WORTHY PERFORMANCE
Hes getting that Oscar!!
1000% agree!
He was so good! Thought I was watching the real Elvis!
@@Tojoj22 Dude actually no cuz there's some heavy weight veteran performances coming up so he does have some competition. This movie opened to $15 million budget is 85 million. Hopefully it has some legs and he stands a strong chance at a nomination if the movie is a big hit too cuz the reviews for the movie have been mixed. Not his performance though
oscar worthy performance of a movie about a pedo 😬 ???
I had such a huge crush on him in “The Carrie Diaries”! That show was so good! I was so bummed when it ended in just two seasons 😭

I just saw Elvis today and Austin was INCREDIBLE. I won't be surprised if he gets nominated for all the top awards this year.
Just tell me this thing only: is it like a bait and switch movie?
@@f.t.6764 what are you even trying to say? The movie is definitely worth it’s ticket price, just go see it lol
@@YouAreLiveIn321 a bait and switch movie is when it's marketed as something different than what it is direction and plot wise. It happened with brokeback mountain as well when it was promoted as a straight movie and, you guessed it, it was a bait and switch, the furthest from a straight movie. And Elvis has the same reputation for the past two weeks now, that's it's of that nature as well. Some commentators, redditors and articles say it's gonna have a twist where the side of the flawed selfish and song steeling from black artists and grooming 16year old Priscilla at the time Elvis will be portrayed in the movie. Cause lisa Marie in the promo interviews said it brought back generational trauma, so why would she say that if it's all positive and songs? So I'm curious, to the people that saw it already, is it like that or is it yet another movie that only idolises him one dimensionally? Cause we have enough movies doing this already.
@@f.t.6764 everyone is gonna give you different, contradicting *opinions* soooo…. if shut your brain off, you’re gonna enjoy it. If you hate Elvis, don’t see it. I don’t get the huge internal conflict. Like, obviously I *do* but you won’t know how you feel until you go see it yourself. It’s not like Elvis himself is profiting off your ticket purchase
@@f.t.6764 the movie shows his relationship with black artists and how he 'stole'/got inspired by their music, he does get idolized to a certain point ( you can't really avoid it if you're such an important part of the history of music) however they definitely show his flaws and humanize him! I think it was perfect!!
They mentioned once that Priscilla was the 'teenage daughter' but other than that they don't really focus on the age gap, again though, their marriage definitely isn't idealized in the movie. It is definitely a phenomenal movie, Austin was absolutely phenomenal, and I strongly encourage you to check it out for yourself! It's one of the best movies I've watched the past years and by far my favourite biopic yet because it feels so realistic, raw and human and we went through so many emotions while watching the movie!!
I'm complete in awe of his style and his accent and everything about him

Lol, so was Elvis. Austin did an absolutely beyond words amazing job in “ Elvis “. He channeled Elvis in every way.
Great Actor. He’s going places for sure.
He’s extremely talented. It’s messed up that he’s getting so much hate. He clearly doesn’t think he’s Elvis. He was method acting for 2 damn years. Of course he’s going to pick up some of Elvis’ traits. If I go home to Canada for a week when I get back to LA my friends always tell me my accent is more profound. And that’s being gone for a week. I couldn’t imagine 2 years

Love when success happens to good people.
I can't wait to see this dude in a dark thriller. I think that he'd play a really good lunatic, like joker.
I could actually see that.
Well, it was a small part, but he played mass murderer and Charles Manson’s right hand henchman Tex Watson who led three of Manson’s girls and together slaughtered Sharon Tate and all that were in her house in 1969. The next evening he took the girls and murdered married couple Leno and Rosemary LaBianca. This was in the movie, “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” with Pitt and DiCaprio. I never saw it and don’t want to especially now; somehow “Elvis” once portraying a killer and claiming to be the devil is not going to work for me.
I’ve never seen a celebrity who seemed so normal. He seems so sweet and genuine in all of the interviews I’ve seen him in. If the Academy snubs him for an Oscar, I’m gonna sue!
