@TaylorAnn Shea Butter does have a higher melting point than coconut oil. Shea Butter melts around 113 degrees while coconut oil melts around 77 degrees, that is why it takes longer for shea butter melt into your hands. You're also right in regards to weight, Shea Butter is naturally thicker and heavier than Coconut Oil; Coconut Oil is able penetrate through the hair shaft while Shea Butter acts more like a topical sealent . Shea Butter definitely can weight long hair down compared to coconut oil; shea butter generally doesn't pose as much of a problem to shorter hair due to using far less of it compared someone who has long high density hair such as yours Taylor.

Great video! LA cracks me up with her reaction to the smell! My hair is sensitive to coconut oil - makes it dry like hay. Horrible for me. So Shea is better. Although I avoid that bc my hair is super fine. I’ve been CG for about three years so I don’t think I can try thus line but I love watching your reviews. Thanks!!!!

Lori for your tangles or matted hair apply some oil. I like the leave in and hair marque and I'll purchase again. I love shea butter due to the weight and my hair texture. On the chocolate, I m have the same reaction on vanilla. I got mine from Wal-Mart.

i have my hair straight right now and im loving it im almost not even missing my curls cause i realize how much easier it is to maintain straight hair 😩. it is so true that you think going natural would be easy but it really is a job to take care of natural hair but anyway i love both of you guys results and taylor your day 4&5 curls still looked great!

Very nice results girls! I’m real sensitive to certain smells too, but they do sound very interesting. I love products with honey 🍯... I just wish they’d leave out the chemicals.

I've tried the leave in spray and the curling cream love it. I did a wash and go and twist out so curly and define. The mask it works don't like the smell. I bought mines from Dollar general and now Sally's have the line. I am 4a and 4c. Y'all hair is gorgeous.
The curling cream is my absolute favorite! Always get tons of compliments whenever I use this product.

I love both results. LoriAnne you were a trooper. Do you have the oil? I use the oil sometimes before I rinse out my conditioner. I never used the chocolate conditioner yet. By the way LoriAnne, I know you don’t want to hear this, but your hair is growing back. 😊
I love the leave in cream. I have very thick hair and it moisturized my hair very good.
Your cut is nice Lori Ann but I won’t lie those lil scraggly pieces would drive me crazzzzzy!!! Curly hair is forgiving so you don’t notice them thank goodness but Do you think that is some of the reason for your hair being tangled. I had a cut with scraggly pieces and no matter what I used it tangled while wet ???Also could you show how you are maintaining your new cut for bed time.
You both got wonderful definition with this line. LoriAnne, I know you're not feeling this line. But the leave-in & styler reminds me of your Cantu results. I love the curling cream in this line. Also, if there is a Dollar General in your neck of the woods they carry it. ➰➰➰💕

The flaxseed curling cream does have coconut oil I don't like coconut in my hair but so far it is okay I also love the smell
The smell of the creme of nature spray is 😍😍😍😍 because of that I wanted it to work so bad on my hair but every time, it makes my hair stuff like the tree branches in winter🤦🏾♀️ Even on my son's hair, the amount of flakes 😩

I totally agree w/ TaylorAnne! Coconut oil is way lighter than Shea butter. I can use a sulfate-free shampoo, or co-wash to get out coconut oil. Yet, with shea butter I need a sulfate shampoo.
I hope LoriAnne's hair can bounce back from this!

I’m on The fence about this line my cousin uses it and loves it but she has completely opposite hair of my so idk especially because African pride has never been a fan of mine even when I was relaxed
I literally just use the shampoo to detangle and condition, and then I can get straight to the leave in and curling cream.

Shea Butter is definitely thicker than Coconut Oil Taylor you're correct. Shea Butter actually is heavier and denser because it's composed of more ingredients to make a BUTTER whereas Coconut Oil simply has one ingredient needed to make the oil- a coconut.

I've seen this line at Dollar General. I wasn't a fan of Jane Carter's Curling Crème. And, yes, shea butter is way thicker than coconut oil. My hair doesn't mind either.
Watching LoriAnne with this line is a no for me. I'm into smells and if it stinks it's going to be an issue. I just go my alikay stylers in the mail. Can't wait to do the full line. My hair has always loved Shea butter and it used to love coconut oil. Now my hair hates coconut oil. It leaves it dry and a tangled mess. Shea is heavier than coconut oil

I’m not here for this brand. I used one of their leave in and it made my hair sooo dry, flakes everywhere, and my scalp was pissed 😂. It in a green jar, I am scarred 😩
Sally Beauty now carries it, but the silicone makes me a little uncomfortable.....
Maybe it's time to trim the tangled edge of hair instead of slowly ripping it off with a brush.
