This hair line is my OG line. I've been natural since 2009 and whenever my hair acts out... it's back to Daily Fix and Curl Rehab. I usually buy the salon sizes in those and 1 smoothing lotion during their sale (Easter and Black Friday). Usually those sizes, although pricey, last me until the next sale. I've also used Repair Me, Curls in a Bottle and Pattern Pusha (when it launched). I've loved almost everything I've tried. The original Pattern Pusha formula didn't work out for me and when I reached out for tips, she called and was super kind and even sent the improved formula that I still love today. TaylorAnne’s eyeshadow is Always on point! Love the colors and how it matches with the tank. I’m currently interested in gels that can be one and dones since my hair is very frizz prone, this brand is on the pricey side so for now I’m sticking to my blue curlmix and am trying the ouidad climate control gel next :)

She helped me select which products would be best for my hair and she was right. Some brands customer service is horrible even when they are starting out. Even when asking simple questions. Just went back to Curl Junkie line. I had been using Shea Moisture lines and noticed my hair was not responding as it once did. During the summer months, Love the Curl Junkie Daily Fix, Repair Me and the Smoothing leave in conditioner. I live in the desert and need to condition wash at least every other day.

Great review and Tutorial. I have been using Curl Junkie for years and it is one of my favorite brands. I love the Repair Me! which is a great protein and moisturizing treatment. My holy grail leave in of all time is their Beauticurls Argan & Olive Oil Daily Hair Conditioner. I get great results when I use it as a leave in. I really like this product. I also like the strengthening conditioner for when I need a protein pick me up. I have tried many of their other products, but I generally repurchase the Daily Fix, Repair Me, above one that I use as a leave in, and the strengthening conditioner. LoriAnne, we have something in common, my hair loves protein, and I think I benefit from using products with protein, and that is why I like the strengthening conditioner.

You two are making me feel like we all belong on a tropical island. I'm loving the colors and this video. My curl Queen dropped in my sink and ran down the drain. I never got over that and never purchased it ever again. I also gave the fuel away gave me crazy frizz. Used the Banana and Hibiscus for a one and Done on summer braid outs. Iight handed on all products. All little goes along way. LoriAnne, loved your choices. Can't wait till you get to pick sometime in the future. We'll be here. Didn't mind you sipping on set either. Yes there customer service is excellent.

The trick to that Curl Fuel is to spray... wait 2-3 minutes then carefully scrunch. I showed you guys in the video because I had the exact same experience in the past FRIZZ CITY! Let the spray settle first on the hair before scrunching. That’s how I got this definition the day of the video. Just a little tip that worked for me.

Thank you for this! I'm trying to get back into henna and remembering all the products I used to use. You reminded me of one of my favorite lines. I used to use the Moisturizing Hair Treatment after I did my henna mask every month. My hair was so healthy back then. Off to order now!

CMJ I have never known the website to have sales. There is a very very small section with discounted discontinued product. CJ also sells sample packet kits like all Their conditioners and another set for sale of all their stylers. But they won’t break apart the sets and sell the packets individually. So glad you found this video informative 🤓🦁💕➰
I used them in the past but never tried the gels. The one thing I do keep in my stash is the Repair Me protein conditioner. I use that every 3 months or so, even though I don’t really need the protein. I may try the Pattern Pusha gel in the future.
Oh wow, I haven’t used curl junkie in at least 5 or 6 years. I’ll have to check it out. What are your must have (holy grail status) leave in, cream, and gel? Love you both!
pstaten04 My Hy grail CoWash besides the CRN Creme Restore is this lines’ “Daily Fix”. I’m not partial to any particular leave in so to speak from this line I have always used the Curl Rehab as my leave in bc it is a very moisturizing Deep conditioner and it is suggested to use this if you want more moisture. I tried the Pattern Pusha for the first time and loved it so that used as a One and Done would be my styler from this line. All the other conditioners and stylers are reached for as needed. Like the Repair me is my absolute favorite Protein Treatment. I have used it forever. The CJ website is an awesome resource to learn what suits your needs. It is very detailed. I used the CurlMix strengthening flaxseed gel Sunday and I actually really like it lol it felt like water when I was applying it and it feels like there’s nothing in my hair now but my curls are still poppin even in a puff lol I’m sad that I used a quarter of the bottle in one go tho 😭 i wanted to use it often but not anymore cause of how much I use

Very informative video, great job! You have definitely made me want to try a couple. I would like to know if the "Pattern Pusha" works with SM black jamacian leave in? If you don't have that one, what about Mane choice 3 in 1, conditioner (Orchid line)? Since you guys have so many products, I was wondering if you could do the hand test to see if they "curdle". I also just got in on the Camille Rose $10 sale so I have lots of conditioners but I am looking for a styler with hold to pair with my existing products. Keep the great videos coming!
Momma T Pattern Pusha’s directions say to use alone so you do not need to use anything underneath. With that said we all style our hair differently and use these products in ways that work best for our own hair needs. I tested both the old and new formula of the SM JBC Leave in and sorry to report back that the gel was not compatible. It beaded and curdled on my hand. I tested the Mane Choice 3 in 1 and it appeared to work. I also tested Camille Rose Naturals Fresh Curls and that appeared to work. And then lastly the leave in /styler that TaylorAnne used in this video, the new CJ product Spiral Lotion works. Again, these were only hand tests. I did not apply these products to my hair. I ended up returning it to Target but now I find myself wondering if I should have kept it and tried to make it work. Either way, if you’re looking for strong hold that definitely has it.

Camille Rose Naturals Curl maker and Uncle Funky’s Daughter are my favorites although in this video for the first time I used Pattern Pusha and I told you guys I was showing off a 4 day Wash and Go. The hold is said to be Lightroom Medium but it held my hair with defined curls for 4 days. You can’t beat that. So those are some suggestions. It’s all trial and error. Plus-size CurlyD TaylorAnne’s Hair does not care for protein so it gets very dry frizzy hard and hay-like. My hair loves protein so my curls could be limp and I use a protein conditioner and my hair literally bounces back into bouncy ringlets. Hope my answer helps you 🤓💕➰-LoriAnne

Great review of a cult favourite! I feel like curl junkie is one of those lines that have its devotees and everybody else is in the dark. I heard quest for the perfect curl (Elle) rave about this brand for years. I bit the bullet when my beauty supply was getting rid of the line and I'm glad I stocked up. Great review and Tutorial. I have been using Curl Junkie for years and it is one of my favorite brands. I love the Repair Me! which is a great protein and moisturizing treatment. My holy grail leave in of all time is their Beauticurls Argan & Olive Oil Daily Hair Conditioner. I get great results when I use it as a leave in. I really like this product. I also like the strengthening conditioner for when I need a protein pick me up. I have tried many of their other products, but I generally repurchase the Daily Fix, Repair Me, above one that I use as a leave in, and the strengthening conditioner. LoriAnne, we have something in common, my hair loves protein, and I think I benefit from using products with protein, and that is why I like the strengthening conditioner.

My curl Queen dropped in my sink and ran down the drain. I never got over that and never purchased it ever again. I also gave the fuel away gave me crazy frizz. Used the Banana and Hibiscus for a one and Done on summer braid outs. Iight handed on all products. All little goes along way.

I used them in the past but never tried the gels. The one thing I do keep in my stash is the Repair Me protein conditioner. I use that every 3 months or so, even though I don’t really need the protein. I may try the Pattern Pusha gel in the future.

pstaten04 My Hy grail CoWash besides the CRN Creme Restore is this lines’ “Daily Fix”. I’m not partial to any particular leave in so to speak from this line I have always used the Curl Rehab as my leave in bc it is a very moisturizing Deep conditioner and it is suggested to use this if you want more moisture. I tried the Pattern Pusha for the first time and loved it so that used as a One and Done would be my styler from this line. All the other conditioners and stylers are reached for as needed. Like the Repair me is my absolute favorite Protein Treatment. I have used it forever. The CJ website is an awesome resource to learn what suits your needs. It is very detailed. Very informative video, great job! You have definitely made me want to try a couple. I would like to know if the "Pattern Pusha" works with SM black jamacian leave in? If you don't have that one, what about Mane choice 3 in 1, conditioner (Orchid line)? Since you guys have so many products, I was wondering if you could do the hand test to see if they "curdle". I also just got in on the Camille Rose $10 sale so I have lots of conditioners but I am looking for a styler with hold to pair with my existing products.

Momma T Pattern Pusha’s directions say to use alone so you do not need to use anything underneath. With that said we all style our hair differently and use these products in ways that work best for our own hair needs. I tested both the old and new formula of the SM JBC Leave in and sorry to report back that the gel was not compatible. It beaded and curdled on my hand. I tested the Mane Choice 3 in 1 and it appeared to work. I also tested Camille Rose Naturals Fresh Curls and that appeared to work. And then lastly the leave in /styler that TaylorAnne used in this video, the new CJ product Spiral Lotion works. Again, these were only hand tests. I did not apply these products to my hair. I hope this helps 🤓➰💕-LoriAnne

I ended up returning it to Target but now I find myself wondering if I should have kept it and tried to make it work. Either way, if you’re looking for strong hold that definitely has it.

Camille Rose Naturals Curl maker and Uncle Funky’s Daughter are my favorites although in this video for the first time I used Pattern Pusha and I told you guys I was showing off a 4 day Wash and Go. The hold is said to be Lightroom Medium but it held my hair with defined curls for 4 days. You can’t beat that. So those are some suggestions. It’s all trial and error. Plus-size CurlyD TaylorAnne’s Hair does not care for protein so it gets very dry frizzy hard and hay-like. My hair loves protein so my curls could be limp and I use a protein conditioner and my hair literally bounces back into bouncy ringlets. Hope my answer helps you 🤓💕➰-LoriAnne
