Hello Ladies!☺️ I love the format of this video, it's nice to see how the different products worked together on different days! I have fine, high density, 3B curls so I often have to stick with a leave-in or styling cream during my wash-n-go's to avoid weighing my hair down. 😍results are nice! Also thank you for showing the entire process! The drying process usually takes a while for me. I'm going to try the blowdrying technique for more volume and quicker dry time💛💛💛
Yes, the blow dryer can definetly speed things up. We sit in front of fans and then go in with the dryer. Some people go in with the dryer with soaking wet hair, but that doesn’t work for us. Having our hair about 90% dry first, then going in, does work and gives us volume. If you try it let us know how it worked for you! ☺️

Great detailed and informative review ladies. I like the split head testing. That’s a good way to test multiple products!! I probably wouldn’t buy the whole line if a few will do the job. I find that I am picking and choosing my favs from each line to build my arsenal. ➰❤️

Yesssss!!! Love this video!!! I have this entire line and I've used everything except the custard..I tried using the milk w/ the gel and my hair flaked soo bad..but my hair wasn't soaking wet either. So I'll definitely give it a second chance and try it on soaking wet hair..thanks ladies😘😘

I am so glad you tried the SM Manuka/Mafura Hydration Mask. I am ecstatic that they expanded the line. I will now get more use out of my shampoo and deep conditioner. I am partial to hair milks, because they are also good for refreshing the hair in between washes. It is so funny, because early on in my hair journey, I did not like gels, but now, can't live without them. I know that my hair likes a little oil, so I always seal my hair with a little Jojoba Oil after applying the gel and that also helps add shine after my hair has dried.
You are so right TaylorAnne, it is a journey and there is so much that I have learned in these past three years, and you really do have to be committed to going natural. I started my journey when I retired so this does give me a little more time to play hairdresser. LOL. Thanks for an awesome video and all the work you guys put into it.

Washed my hair yesterday & tried your blower dryer technique LoriAnne a little bit & Yes I got a little bit more volume which is what I was going for. Btw - I have very fine, thick kinky coily low porosity hair just to give a visual. Thanks for the drying technique/tip. It worked! 👍

I love the original products in this line! I haven’t tried the new products but you’ll got great results!!! I find that the conditioner in this line and tresumme flawless curls conditioner is the only thing that I can detangle my hair with. I would love to see a comparison between the hair milk of this line and the coconut and hibiscus line! Great job as always ladies 😘

That’s awesome to hear! It’s a great little group of products. Yeah the custard can be hit or miss as you saw haha but if you’ve found the right combination within the line, I’d stick with it. You guys are amazing for trying out the products multiple ways and showing the results on camera! 😘👏🏽I personally have not have good results with Shea Moisture. The few lines I have tried either did NOT have good results (dry hair) or the smell made me gag. This happened with the one's almost everyone loves (Coconut & Hibiscus, Raw Shea Butter and JBCO Strengthen and Grow Lines ). I had given up until saw the hair fragrance sprays. So I picked up the Raw Shea Butter one at Target. But, it was a HOT MESS! If you ever saw Coming to America and that guy with the jerry curl (however you spell) sat on the sofa and left behind a greasy stain. 😂 Well, that would have been me if I had sat down and put my hair on something. It just sat on top of my hair even when I tried to rub it in. I swear my hair is boujee and just will not cooperate with cheaper products.😢 SMH I still love watching videos of other people trying stuff though. Not sure why when I know I can't use them! Goes to show it's the Creators! ❤️
I have the shampoo, conditioner and the hair mask. I love them all. That conditioner smells just like honey to me. I normally don't dilute my twisting creams, but I may try it. I think it would be so cool if you guys could say how many days the products lasted you when you review them. I know LoriAnn you usually say you only get day one hair, but even if Taylor Ann could say how many days you get from your wash & go’s that would be so helpful because for me I really only like products that give me 3-4 day hair! When I first went natural in the late 60’s early 70’s I just washed, conditioned and put hair grease and later curl activator. My hair was dried out and breaking. I ended up relaxing and experienced dry scalp and dry hair. It’s taken me years to get it right and finally at almost 68 (6/17) I’ve finally figured it out. Moisture moisture moisture

Hey ladies. Another great detailed video. I did a wash and go with the milk and gel and I was so disappointed because it flakes so badly. I got the definition but it just didn’t work for me. 😔 I kept the leave in milk but returned the gel. All the other products get a 👍🏽. And I can’t wait because I GOT to hear LoriAnne’s hurricane story and TaylorAnne’s highway story. I’m chuckling right now. I can’t believe an hour and a half flew by like that. It was fun though.
Hi Gillian! Yes it would seem the Gel is hit or miss with a lot of people. The definition is there but whether it flakes or not is varying, although applying on soaking wet hair could help. About to watch your review stat ! Just got my Curlbox and this line was in it ... Lost on how to use it ... I have not tried in shea moisture products in years ! Like from when they first hit the market lololol Coconut line was to heavy for my hair at the time .
What a great video! I finally tried the Manuka mask a few days ago and omg!! My hair has never felt softer and more defined. So naturally, I run out to Target to buy the Manuka milk and topped with my favorite gel. My curls have gone from 3b to 3c and I can't believe how healthy look! I think I'll skip the stylers but I'm sold on the mask and milk.

I deep conditioned with the mask then used the Manuka Honey milk (and no styler) before bed a few nights ago. I woke up with the most defined, moisturized curls...and... I've gotten several days from just that one product which never happens without a styler! My hair is fine & thin so I don't know if other types could get the same results. Could you do a "one and done" video using their milk? p.s. Shea Moisture has always been a hit-or-miss brand for me but so this line is blowing my mind!

It would seem that there are learning curves with some products out here in the natural hair world. There are so many products in a line, it’s all about finding the right combo and technique, which can be a struggle lol hopefully that combo works for you, since some other combo didn’t! I remember I tried this line from shea moisture. Unfortunately my hair hated it! I even tried their new yogurt and honey line after watch ya review. I brought the shampoo, conditioner, and the deep conditioner. I will honestly say that it’s ok overall but it’s not a line I would buy again unless my hair is in desperate need of a protein treatment. To me my HANDS DOWN favorite line from sheamoisture is the JBCO line! I LOVE EVERYTHING from that collection. I heard they made a gel from that line I believe but I definitely can’t find it
Aww, I’m sorry to hear that 😕 I guess everything isn’t for everyone. I felt the same about the protien treatment, I loved my results, but it’s not something I’d reach for every wash day just because of the protien in it. I’ll reach for it again when my hair needs a protien boost. The JBCO Line is definetly a Shea Moisture fan favorite line it would seem, we love it ourselves! M.A.D.CURLS Agreed. They are different. Is the Manuka Mafura a protein line as well? Also, TaylorAnne has mentioned not caring much for Shea Moistures Shampoos but said she liked both Manuka shampoos and conditioners...which would be the #1 in a wash-off. Lol!
