I agree that Shae moisture can be a hit or miss but I was surprised that you didn’t mention their Manuka honey and Mafura oil intensive line. That’s the only line that consistently works for me. The Jamaican black castor is fine but I get better results with the Manuka honey and Mafura oil intensive line.
I used to love Shea moisture. I use it less now but I love the JBCO line and the original manuka honey line. Funny enough you don’t like the raw Shea butter cream detangler and I used to like it. It moisturized my hair and helped me detangle but everyone is different
I finally figured out how to use the souffle a couple of years ago. It's best to mix it with the curl enhancing smoothie and it works amazing without having to add anything else. My hair is super moisturized when it dries completely. Waiting on my second round of products from you and soon a 3rd round of these luxurious products. I love supporting those who look like me 😍😍😍
I personally don’t like the coconut and hibiscus line it just sits on my 3b/3C thick hair. But what I do like is the Mafura oil and manuka honey line!!! That deep conditioner is so moisturizing!!! I definitely recommend.
I love your closing. Kind of makes me proud you being such a classy and natural representation of African American women. Going to try out some products from your line. 🥰
I tried the Raw Shea butter line when I was first transitioning & hated it. Tried to use the JBCO line & that didn’t work well for me either. I gave up after that
I swear the Raw Shea Butter Line, the Coconut & Hibiscus Line and the JBCO line grew my hair so much back in 2015/2016!! I've switched up my products since then but I'm slowly phasing Shea Moisture back in. I just don't like their shampoos so much.
I only use 3 different lines Shea moisture, your line and ( only) curly Proverbz henna masque gloss my favorite first moringa & avocado , than the raw Shea butter last manuka honey and yogurt my least favorite are the African black soap , African water mint and ginger last Tahitian noni & monoi to harsh on my hair and make my hair dry
I have used their raw Shea shampoo condotioner and masque and I loved it! Am in Tanzania and we do not get the full range cause the market is not yet large enough. But am ordering the Shea Moisture Black castor oil in the edge treatment, Raw Shea butter restorative cinditioner, the fruit fusion coconut water shampoo cause my hair is fine. The Superfruit Complex 10 In 1renewal system masque or the JBCO strengthen grow restore keave in conditioner.
The deep conditioner Noni and Monoï was an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 I LOOOOOVE the shampoos and Deep condorioners of HIGH POROSITY line, 100%COCONUT line, JBCO line and 10 in 1 line but some of them are nowhere to find. Thanks for this vid👍
The Raw Shea butter did nothing for me and that kept me from trying Shea moisture for years. I eventually tried the JBCO shampoo which I love and the Manuka Honey deep conditioner which is great too.
I used that Raw Line when I was transitioning too and I liked it, but like you mentioned that detangler was trash! The Coconut Hibiscus line were my holy grails when I first Big Chopped...then entire line (except for that greasy glaze, hated it)! When my hair grew out I loved the JBCO Strengthening line!
i am transitioning my chemically damaged hair (bcz of relaxing) and i just did my big chop a week ago and i am wondering which line/products do i use? i have 3b/3c hair. may you help please?
Shea moisture deep conditioners and shampoos were my staple products. I still like SM but I don’t use it anymore bc they always change the ingredients so it didn’t have the same effect for me. Plus, there was something about people experiencing hair fall with SM. The raw Shea butter line was my favorite too
I love the Manuka Honey line, and I absolutely HATE the JBCO one. The JBCO line has too much protein in it and makes my hair hard and dry. I like the Raw Shea Butter line as well. The Coconut and Hibiscus line is ok, but the smoothie is too thick and tends to sit on my hair.
Great video. I like Shea Moisture and have had good luck with the products so far. Thanks for the heads up. Now I know what to avoid. They do have alot of product lines so it can be a bit overwhelming.
I started my natural hair journey with the JBCO line & The Low Porosity Line. I still use the JBCO line. I also still like the curl smoothie. I also like the manuka & honey DC & the Manuka Honey & Honey DC.
Girl u had me SCARED thinkin u was dissin SM cause GUUURLLL 🙄🙄😩 SM got rlly nice products,OOF 🖤😻 da CH line shampoo/conditioner curl enhance smoothie is BOMB🖤💓
I definitely agree with everything you said accept the gold and red SheaMoisture the intensify hydration one really good conditioner and the deep conditioner however I found out recently they have changed the deep conditioner you have to be careful the new one that's coming out in the stores real damage your hair I got a refund back on it after I called the company it's completely different and they did not inform the customers you have to look at the package and you have to keep your old containers these days to know the difference because even the Jamaican castor oil with the yellow was not the same they changed the formula we all figured that out as well it's okay but it's not like the first line so thank you for the video
I like the Raw Shea Butter collection, but I used to love it, especially the Detangler. I like the Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie! I didn’t like the JBCO Shampoo, but I loved their leave in conditioner. I love their Power Greens collection meaning their shampoo and conditioner since it helps bring back the moisture to my hair. I also love their original Manuka Honey collection! I don’t like the Coconut & Hibiscus Soufflé.
I absolutely hate it (I try my hardest not to hate at my age🤣) but baby the Shea moisture kids + the aloe vera plant weekly AND the meille gummies has my 4yo hair looking AMAZING in jus 4weeks🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿 I did reviews and comments for 1week before I decided 🤦🏿♀️ and I picked shea moisture an it was my best choice 🙌🏿🙌🏿 her hair is actually kinda to thick now but I'll take that too 😁
i am transitioning my chemically damaged hair (bcz of relaxing) and i just did my big chop a week ago and i am wondering which line/products do i use? i have 3b/3c hair. may you help please?
I can Find The Bar Soap from them BUT. I get them off eBay now, the Shea Moisture Raw Argan Oil Baby Eczema Bar Soap and Africam Mint and Ginger Bar Soap.
Omg girl yes!!! That soufflé is so sticky and greasy, I can’t stand it. I thought I was tripping because I did a wash and go with it and I was like why the hell it my hair not drying. It was that gel!
I tried the Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter and my hair hated it. I don't think I'll buy it again and this is one of the reasons I think I might drop the curly girl method. If a product wich is has as much good reputation and still doesn't work in my hair really disappointed me 😂
Only tried once hate it!!! I refuse to buy anymore.i used on my kinky 4c hair and did nothing i put it on my raggedy old human hair Brazilian extension s and bomb they looked brand new juicy curls.i felt depressed i was like dang u work for my weave but not me????? What kind of hair i got??? Were my thoughts so ill past sadly .i was really enthusiasts for shea moisture but ended up dissapointed and out of money i could of spent on 4 buck product that works.
I have never tried shea moisturizer will help with all kinds of problems that your hair has or going through if you have sensitive scalp or breakage, dryness, falling out split ends, shedding what is the best thing to do or use if or not if works for types of hair you have like if your scalp has buildup will it still be good to use ?
i bought the makuna honey mask but it doesnt work for my hairtype :( i tried it 4 times so now i have a hair mask that cost me €16 euros standing on the shelves thats never gonna be used again 😓
I live in the Caribbean and haven't had alot of access to alot of shea moisture products but one of my fav shampoos is the jbco. Imo their rinse out conditoners are trash. The curl enhancing smoothie always had my hair dryyyyyy

The Jamaican black castor is fine but I get better results with the Manuka honey and Mafura oil intensive line.
Favorite Line: Red Palm oil & Cocoa Butter. Least favorite: Any of them with that coconut oil followed by Shea butter combo and vice versa.
Manuka honey and mufura oil is the best line! I love every single product even the glow mask and facial moisturizer

I’ve been mixing the soufflé and the smoothie for years. It perfectly for me.
They for sure changed the ingredients to the Jamaican black castor leave in conditioner. Thankfully, my hair got use to the new formula.
Wow. I wonder why they are changing the formulas... seems like everything was fine as is!

I've been using the coconut hibiscus line for several years and I love it.
I love the Coconut & Hibiscus line. Haven't needed to try any of they're other lines, it works great for me !
I love the raw shea shampoo deep conditioner, conditioner and shampoo, love the jbco, and the jbco line too. I also like the avocado deep conditioner.
I like the Coconut and Hibiscus line! Least favorite line is the Virgin Coconut
I love your closing. Kind of makes me proud you being such a classy and natural representation of African American women. Going to try out some products from your line. 🥰
The Curl Enhancing Smoothie was always a favorite. Now it doesn't provide enough moisture. My curls feel dry using it.
I wonder if they changed the formula. I used to love it when it came out.
Same
I tried the Raw Shea butter line when I was first transitioning & hated it. Tried to use the JBCO line & that didn’t work well for me either. I gave up after that
As a curly white girl, the coconut-hibiscus does an amazing job on super coarse, thick Scottish/Italian hair.
I swear the Raw Shea Butter Line, the Coconut & Hibiscus Line and the JBCO line grew my hair so much back in 2015/2016!! I've switched up my products since then but I'm slowly phasing Shea Moisture back in. I just don't like their shampoos so much.

I love the manuka and yogurt line, the blue one. The deep conditioner is a holy grail. The fragrance is kinda weird but I got used to it.
Maybe the weightless brand could be for fine and thin hair, because that would work well for that hair type. So it could be pretty good.

I have 3b hairs and the blue line do great in my hairs moisturise soft ,shiny and bouncy curls
The coconut hibiscus honestly hates my hair for some reason😭
Shea moisture didn't work in my hair. I tried 3 times with different lines. It just dried my hair out so I started using something else.
I feel you on the ascent of the yogurt shea moisture w/ protein... it’s fragrant but the deep conditioner works well.

Wow I had no idea about this. A lot of these comments are making me second guest SM 🧐
I tried their raw shea butter deep treatment masque TWICE and both times it dried my hair out. Never used another SM product and never will.

I have the jbco which is great but not hydrating for me. Which one do you recommend for hydrating?

She's Moisture is no longer Black owned, so I stopped buying their products. Also their formulas seem to have changed. I could be wrong
Have you tried mielle organics?
Does the shea moisture jbco deep conditioner have protein ?
And does the shea moisture manuka honey and mafura oil deep conditioner have protein?
Raw Shea and Jamaican black castor oil snap snap!!! I found out the hard way. The hair mask of Mananuka honey is expensive but Also amazing!!!
Have u try the main choice hair products yet
