I would never use Shea moisture ever! When I used it my hair was so brittle I cried because of how dry it was. I had to follow it up with a deep conditioner. It was crazy because my hair lost its texture for 3 days!
LOVE that you're sponsored by Filti. I found them weeks ago and have been making them for friends and the homeless. It's all about safety. Thanks for the review as well. So need you're spirit right now.
When you hair starts reacting differently to products that used to work, check the ingredients list. There's a good chance the product is different. That definitely happened with many of Shea Moisture's products.
is that a chicken? Thank you , I just put in an oil treatment but I’m really confused because I can’t see curly roots yet and it’s been a few months but I’m going for my second big chop this week 🤗🤗
I think it rlly depends on the person. I personally love shea moisture (I use the coconut and hibiscus curl smoothie and curl milk) but I guess you just need to find what works for you. Btw will your hair is just goalssss 😍
It seems to be the only thing I can find in Australia to give me good curl but it doesn’t hold long for like a week by day 2-3 I tend to need to add an little more product before wash day but I love it
My hair is more tangled with sbea moisture lately. Which means either my hair has changed or , they changed their recipe. I had to order the detangler its not on the shelves. I pray it works like it's supposed to.
Shea moisture is a very high quality brand but everybody has different textures of hair. Shea is better suited for natural tight curls. Most other brands dry out my hair but I personally think Shea moisture is the best for natural curls.
I’ve only used their style milk and even when I try to stop using it I can’t get away from it. I have super thick, dry, wavy hair and it just helps moisturize and define my waves. But that’s the only product of theirs I’ve ever tried.
Everytime I cut my hair and cry and Sanaa in the mirror. I try Shea moisture and it works. Then when my hair grows past my ear it's like sandpaper on my strands.
I use to think their products where expired cause they had a funny looking color to it but then I learned the formula changed and suddenly it made sense. It doesn’t work that well anymore because everything looks watered tf down. The fact that women with straight/wavy hair started being able to use it was when I stopped. Cause there’s no way a product that can work just fine on thin straight hair could work for my thick 3b hair...
I got the gel oil for my 5 yr sister. And brushed it through her hait, and when I say her curls were poppin, I MEAN IT. The were really shiny and super soft
I feel like Shea moisture changed their products. I started with Shea moisture when I went natural. It was good when I first started but I would say a year later it wasn't working. I switched to Miss Jessie's a little expensive but its good.
I’ve never seen your channel before. I came for the Shea info, stayed cause of the insight and subbed cause your jokes and MGS timing is perfect lol. (I also remember seeing that Tyra cut live and yoooooo she went haaaard)
I'm really, really thankful for this video because you and I have exactly the same hair texture and what you got after using this stuff is what everything I've used so far does to my head. Glad to see because it's a reminder that I need to try new products and update my routine to see if I can get different results.
@@Skt.x same idk why it doesn't work for other ppl, but I heard they changed their ingredients years ago and became white owned, but it still works for me, but I've only used the JBCO line and the curl and shine deep conditioner
I've been using Shea moisture since I've been natural. I've always used their products for over 8 years now, and I've never stopped. Once I found what works for my hair I didn't complicate my hair routine
I never understood the hype behind shea moisture. It did nothing for my hair.....well, it did one thing. Its how I discovered I am allergic to shea butter/oil.
I use shea moisture and my hair loves i use the smoothie enhancing the curly shampoo and conditioner even picked up some of the body wash I love shea moisture
Their REFORMULATION sucks: I’m a male. Been using the Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner for a while now. In my last purchase recently: I noticed that the shampoo does not have that natural, rich, awesome smelling, white and creamy consistency anymore. They’ve changed it to a shiny, clearer and watered-down formula that really feels like any other shampoo out there. But the worst thing is: IT’S MAKING MY SCALP ITCH LIKE CRAZY. The original formula was the complete opposite: it used to be so invigorating and moisturizing. They have failed to realize that they’re actually dealing with chemicals here. That those ingredients actually affect people’s pH balancing and levels. They think it’s a game that will go un-noticed. I’M GOING TO RETURN THE ITEM: and I will not buy it again if they don’t change it.
When you said in your new place you won't have you bed in the background again I smiled because I'm so happy for you. As a youtuber who has her bed in the background at the moment, I'm looking forward to that. I appreciate the good work shea moisture does for the Community but they almost ruined my hair. I kept trying the product because I wanted to support them. And I kept hoping it would work, but I got nothing but dry hair that broke. The product irritated my scalp, gave me dandruff (thank God for ACV) and made me break out on my forehead. Let us take some time to appreciate the edits of this video, cc that Hannah Montana clip at the end.
Mizani has a coil gel oil that I love. You just have to emulsify it before applying. The thing with gels is your hair has to be SOAKING WET not lightly misted. I think that might be better for you maybe. That primer is the bomb though. I love it!
Been using it for about 3 years. Got in a habit and didn't notice how bad my hair had felt and lost all its shine until a month ago.I was looking in the mirror and actually realized my luster was gone.Even after doing hot oil treatments.I stopped using shea moisture for the last month and just that quick my hair is back shiny and super soft.I went back to pink lotion.
I'm not curly but I'm wavy and I bleach the crap out of my hair. Shea moisture with black castor oil is EVERYTHING to me. Also keretin does not equal moisture!! If you don't have color treated/ heat damage hair you cannot use excessive keratin. It will only stiffen and break your hair more.
I brought the Shea Moisture Power Greens conditioner. It completely dried my hair out and was very frizzy also. I use to love Shea Moisture. They have changed the formula of their products.
I use the manuka honey and mafura oil line and it works well with my hair ; however I've used their other lines and they left my hair dry and looking like a rat's nest 😫
dear will, you’re such an icon🥺. i love the way you edit, and you just radiate positive vibes, i recommend all my friends to you all the time, i love you sm💞.
The results looks like how my hair looks on a good... 4c refuses even when moisturized. But I agree. Shea moisture is an overpriced cheap smelling bottle of leaves
I was here admiring your bedroom set then you said you're moving. All the best with your transition. With these hair products, it's just hit and miss - the process of finding products that actually work can be so frustrating and expensive at times.
I used to like them in the very beginning but they kept changing the ingredients in in rebranding their products which pissed me off. The "new versions" would be much thinner in consistency or the tub sizes would be smaller with the same price. When my hair started liking their things, the ingredients would change again. I just went to look for more consistent brands.
Shea moisture makes my hair feel like it's been in the desert for 99 years with no water. I stopped using it shortly after it came out. I was rooting for it hard too.
Me too! The only thing I liked was the shampoo and conditioner, but it wasn't THAT amazing. I hate the coconut hibiscus smoothie, made my hair feel so weird- I don't know how to describe it.
I actually love this line. The smell is a lil too strong but that primer loves my curls. I’m not really feeling the custard but IF I use it, I apply it in the shower as well. Try it that way and tell me what you think.
Shea Moisture is like the step child you add to the family of products you alreadh have. I added their JBCO Leave In conditioner to my routine and my twist outs been POPPINGTON

I felt that “i got distracted” part with the Savage remix on the side, bc SAME
I would never use Shea moisture ever!
Over time my hair stopped liking shea moisture so I stay away from their products for the most part
That used to happen to me with other products. It’s like my hair gets used to them and will stop defining.
When you use a product often(kinda like everyday or every other day) your hair gets used to it so it stops showing the same results
When you hair starts reacting differently to products that used to work, check the ingredients list. There's a good chance the product is different. That definitely happened with many of Shea Moisture's products.
Ricanbrujaa _ Mostly when this happens to people you gotta clearify, because this no sulfate products give you buildup overtime
Zuleikha Ambuila I didn’t know that I’m gonna try that now
ilysm will and I’m transitioning now and you’ve helped me so much , sending blessing your way ❤️🙏🏽
This is so sweet 🤗 all the best on your journey 💗
is that a chicken? Thank you , I just put in an oil treatment but I’m really confused because I can’t see curly roots yet and it’s been a few months but I’m going for my second big chop this week 🤗🤗
@@daliasamad1541 👁️👄👁️ your curls are hiding 😂 but take care of it and all will be well
is that a chicken? Thank you , imma keep trying 😆💓
I love your perspective on natural hair videos. I have become so used to seeing the same things. And I love your videos and humor. Really refreshing!
I never liked Shea Moisture's hair care line, it's so drying, makes my hair shed, and does nothing but damage. Great soaps and body washes tho.
Vanessa Clark sameeee😭
There are like 80 lines 😂😂 every single one is trash?
@@ElmotypeSwag Yes.
i'm wondering if this is why i've been losing so much hair during my wash days
Vanessa Clark 😂💀💯
I’ve been watching you for months now and I gotta tell you my curls have been poppin. Still very damaged but girl she’s healing
the last time I was this early we we weren't in quarantine lol
lovemesome hotnfreshtea last time i was this early, the comments were where they belong😭
lovemesome hotnfreshtea last time I was this early she’s moisture wasn’t trash
I think it rlly depends on the person. I personally love shea moisture (I use the coconut and hibiscus curl smoothie and curl milk) but I guess you just need to find what works for you. Btw will your hair is just goalssss 😍
It seems to be the only thing I can find in Australia to give me good curl but it doesn’t hold long for like a week by day 2-3 I tend to need to add an little more product before wash day but I love it
I have mixed hair and it works rlly good on my hair my hair gets so smooth
You’re the ONLY hair guru I watch. I found your channel and now I’m bingeing it
When you watch other people and stare at their hair cause it's goals
And you look like a bold mango
😂😂😂😂😂
Aww don't say that because even a bald mango can bare fruit .
@@Myresha100 aww that's soo nice 👉👈❤
My hair is more tangled with sbea moisture lately. Which means either my hair has changed or , they changed their recipe. I had to order the detangler its not on the shelves. I pray it works like it's supposed to.

Shea moisture is a very high quality brand but everybody has different textures of hair. Shea is better suited for natural tight curls. Most other brands dry out my hair but I personally think Shea moisture is the best for natural curls.
Do u think it’s be good for tight 4c coils
The ending of this had me deceased! Be safe on your move👏🏾🌟💚
I switched to Miss Jessie's a little expensive but its good.
me saying goodbye to will’s old apartment: 👋🏾🥺
I’ve never seen your channel before. I came for the Shea info, stayed cause of the insight and subbed cause your jokes and MGS timing is perfect lol.
(I also remember seeing that Tyra cut live and yoooooo she went haaaard)
Bye Will’s apartment 🥺
I'm really, really thankful for this video because you and I have exactly the same hair texture and what you got after using this stuff is what everything I've used so far does to my head. Glad to see because it's a reminder that I need to try new products and update my routine to see if I can get different results.
Shea moisture is not friendly to low po however I’m high po and it does the job
psych I got Low po hair and it works so good for me
@@Skt.x same idk why it doesn't work for other ppl, but I heard they changed their ingredients years ago and became white owned, but it still works for me, but I've only used the JBCO line and the curl and shine deep conditioner
That Manuka shampoo, conditioner, and deep conditioner is probably the best product I’ve ever tried! Even better than the salon quality brands!
I would never give Shea Moisture another coin. I've been on that in a minute though. Like two years.
IDC what anybody say, you are one of the best natural hair youtubers EVER.
The Cantu coconut curl cream literally makes my mouth water. I almost wish it was edible. That’s my summer scent.
I've been using Shea moisture since I've been natural. I've always used their products for over 8 years now, and I've never stopped. Once I found what works for my hair I didn't complicate my hair routine
The primer worked so well with wet line gel for me. I knew that “gel oil“ was a scammiana
I only enjoy 2 of their products and it took me years to get to this place. I just pray those two products don't change
I choked at hannah montana at the end💀
okay but his background is so precious!!!!
Just used shea moisture and it is everything
I used Shea Moisture for the first time the other day and I don't like it. I spent close to $30 for 3 products. I'm going back to My DNA.
The manuka Honey line is the best
I really like the leave in conditioner, but the shampoo just isn't for me
@Tara same it always leaves my scalp feeling waxy/sticky. Ugh
I've come to understand that this is a moisturizing method meant to br used with water, a shower cap or better a facial humidifier.
I never understood the hype behind shea moisture. It did nothing for my hair.....well, it did one thing. Its how I discovered I am allergic to shea butter/oil.
It’s for high porosity hair.. most of the lines
I was slightly shocked to see the video wasn't sponsored by audible, but I'm really happy to see that this company is a good cause
This video was so funny... I lost count on how many times I burst out laughing. As usual, you're a phenomenal comedian!
So many people have said the Manuka honey masque is their favorite so I recently bought it and love how thick it is. Good luck with your move!!
"Next up I picked up a scam"
Oh boy😂
I’ve been binge watching your videos all day.... decided to take a nap and then boom... to freedom! A brand new video 😭🙌🏽
I bought that material a few weeks ago. I'm making my own masks too
I use shea moisture and my hair loves i use the smoothie enhancing the curly shampoo and conditioner even picked up some of the body wash I love shea moisture

Omggg I used to watch you all the time and I completely just lost your channel, so glad it came up on my recommendations 💕🌞
Shea Moisture has been my go to for years
Mizani has a coil gel oil that I love. You just have to emulsify it before applying. The thing with gels is your hair has to be SOAKING WET not lightly misted. I think that might be better for you maybe. That primer is the bomb though. I love it!
Will Thee Giselle Knowles-Stallion!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Been using it for about 3 years. Got in a habit and didn't notice how bad my hair had felt and lost all its shine until a month ago.I was looking in the mirror and actually realized my luster was gone.Even after doing hot oil treatments.I stopped using shea moisture for the last month and just that quick my hair is back shiny and super soft.I went back to pink lotion.
for the first time in foreverrrrr
i'm first .
Maddie Hall umm grammar ??
@@inmybrainpodcast 😂😂
I'm not curly but I'm wavy and I bleach the crap out of my hair. Shea moisture with black castor oil is EVERYTHING to me. Also keretin does not equal moisture!! If you don't have color treated/ heat damage hair you cannot use excessive keratin. It will only stiffen and break your hair more.
The edits always have me weak, once again! 🤣
"Yeaahhh, get into it"
I brought the Shea Moisture Power Greens conditioner. It completely dried my hair out and was very frizzy also. I use to love Shea Moisture. They have changed the formula of their products.
I use the manuka honey and mafura oil line and it works well with my hair ; however I've used their other lines and they left my hair dry and looking like a rat's nest 😫
dear will, you’re such an icon🥺. i love the way you edit, and you just radiate positive vibes, i recommend all my friends to you all the time, i love you sm💞.
as soon as i saw this video said 3 minutes, my brain was like "select that sh.t" lmao
Shea moisture makes my hair super soft I think shea moisture is rlly good for like mixed hair because it makes my hair super soft
The results looks like how my hair looks on a good... 4c refuses even when moisturized.
But I agree. Shea moisture is an overpriced cheap smelling bottle of leaves
I was here admiring your bedroom set then you said you're moving. All the best with your transition.
With these hair products, it's just hit and miss - the process of finding products that actually work can be so frustrating and expensive at times.
yeah, I couldn't get with it either. my hair turned out just like yours when it tried it. definitely not meant for us lol
“Yuhh get into ittt” 💀💀💀💀
Shea moisture makes my hair feel like it's been in the desert for 99 years with no water. I stopped using it shortly after it came out. I was rooting for it hard too.
Me too! The only thing I liked was the shampoo and conditioner, but it wasn't THAT amazing. I hate the coconut hibiscus smoothie, made my hair feel so weird- I don't know how to describe it.
I swear- your editing gets me every single time 😭😂
I actually love this line. The smell is a lil too strong but that primer loves my curls. I’m not really feeling the custard but IF I use it, I apply it in the shower as well. Try it that way and tell me what you think.
As soon as I saw da notification I came runninnnn
