Now I have all three lines the Tropical Moringa, the Exotic Cool Laid, and the Fro THE culture. Now each of them are phenomenal but I will say I agree that I like the Tropical Moringa more for moisture and the shine I get is incredible.
With this collection I like the scent more and also the hold is stronger than the other 2. And I do get alot more definition.
This collection has alot of vitamin C which can be drying if your hair was not washed or dee conditioned properly. Vitamin C helps with elasticity and slightly strengthening because it aids in the product of collagen. Collagen is a building block of protein which is something that helps with the integrity of the scalp. I feel like the cool laid collection is a moisture/strengthening balance.
Now I have been told by the mane choice you can mix and match the leave ins and gels from other lines and it will work greatly so if that's something that you think will help then try that! Over all great review ladies!! I am glad you enjoyed the mane choice you know I love this brand and everything they do!!

Yasss! Yasss! Slay those results Ladies! I like The Mane Choice because they specialize in growth and retention, but I wish they were a little cheaper. The Coolaid line is the next Mane Choice line on my list. I have the Ancient Egyptian, The Tropical Moringa, Easy on the Curls, and Pink Lemonade & Coconut which the stylers are the winners in each line except the curl boosting sherbet in the lemonade line I wanted to like it but my hair said Issa no. The results are beautiful for both of you! The gel-o reminds me of my favorite styler, the Pomegranate Pear oil in Gel pudding from She Scent It. I hope I enjoy it once I finally get my hands on it. I think I do prefer the Tropical Moringa results for Taylor Anne! But this line really complimented LoriAnne’s strands so it just goes to show how things work so differently for everyone. You should review Naptural85's new haircare line Melanin! I've heard and seen a lot of good things about their Twist Elongating cream, and it's also good for wash n goes!🤩

For the shampoo, maybe you guys can dilute it with some water in an applicator bottle. That may help with the smell and the tangles.

The oil and mask is my favorite. Fro the culture is still my favorite line. I think it it is very defining and to me it’s not the most moisturizing, but I want to try the gel with a different leave in underneath. Thanks for the review ladies! ❤️

Can’t wait to try this full line! Mane choice is my favorite brand. I think all of your mane choice wash n gos are comparable. However the tropical moringa was the most volume.

great results!! i may try the gel and leave-in. with regard to the shampoo - when i come across something that has redeeming qualities but something about it is too much, i mix a little of it into something else that balances it. 🤷🏾♀️ i’d probably out a drop of that shampoo into a good cowash when i needed something between a full clarifier and a refreshing cowash. and the oil isn’t prob orange bc of the real sea buckthorn berries. so glad to see they’re using such a hugh quality ingredient! it has sooooo many benefits for skin & hair. i’ll ben picking that up for sure. thanks for another great vid! ♥️
I looove minty shampoos! The mintier the better lol it just feels so refreshing and clean on my scalp. I used this shampoo yesterday and 😄😄😄 and I love the applicator nozzle, I can apply it directly to my scalp 😁
I’d like to start off by saying that I’ve been watching you both from the jump. I’m extremely confident that your subscribers aren’t going to feel as if you’re pushing products on them. Are you now against coupon codes? If anything, providing/sharing coupon codes with others is a positive thing. Others are being informed, and now have an option of saving some money. After all, who doesn’t like that? Plenty of times on your Friday night “live” videos, your subscribers have alerted us to sales. I’ve seen for myself how grateful followers were. First of all, your highlights are poppin’ on that backdrop! 😍 Ok, so now that y’all talked me into it, I have to go buy this line (😂 just kidding)... but seriously, I need to find it and I’m vowing this is the last line I’m buying for awhile lol. I pretty much have narrowed down my favs.. the Mane Choice has been my mane squeeze for years 😄... and now I’m also loving Nature’s Little Secret, several Soultanicals products and CURLMIX; so I’m going to stick to those 4 in my rotation for now. So far Tropical Moringa is my fav, I haven't tried Fro the Culture yet. I didn't like the Kool-Aid gel although Love the shampoo. But I didn't use the conditioner as a leave-in (I was doing that 30 day detox thing which says not to use a leave-in) so I am probably going to try it again with the leave in this time and see if that makes a difference. Love your videos as always!

I love mint. My favorite mint shampoo and conditioner is the Shea moisture African water mint. It’s perfect for summer. It feels so cooling. It brings the body temperature down. 😂 I don’t think I’ll buy anything from this line although the oil intrigues me because you guys said you love the scent. I’m looking for that right now.

I also wanted to ask for treatment Tuesday have you ever tried the kinky curly stellar strands deep conditioner? I recently came across it but I was wondering if you had tried it
I LOOOOOOOOOVE the shampoo LOL... MY scalp was sooooo tingly.... The gel with the leave in is a bit dry together. I did a one and done with the Infinite Conditioner and my hair was hydrated with a decent hold ( I think it's because I have low density, fine curly hair). I'm definitely going to try the gel with a different leave in and use the Infinite Conditioner for a one and done.
I like that the shampoo has that nozzle thingy. All shampoos should have that. Yeah I’m not liking the color of that oil either, it does look like it would stain everything, especially if you actually try to spray it directly. Anyway the only product I really wanna try in this line is the gel

For me this is my favorite mane chocie line because it's so versatile and light. Yes I agree with Taylor Ann its not as moisturizing as the tropical moringa but I still love it. I'm going to try the tropical moringa leave in with the gello and see how it works to help with moisture. Also bummed you guys didn't like the shampoo I loved it and my didnt overpower me with mint. Maybe your sense of smell is much stronger than mine 🤷🏽♀️😂
I love these results! Could the gel be a one and done possibly? It sounded like it from the directions. Also Tay, I think that little frizz came from the amount of water that was on your hair while you were applying. If you play back that one section, you can kind of see it starting there! I hope this helps 💜

The tropical moringa is my favorite line so far also, I just ordered this line. I am expecting to like it, but like you, I don’t expect it to top the moringa line.

I actually really liked the shampoo and used the nozzle directly on my scalp. I'm about to use the deep conditioner in a little bit. I used the conditioner as a leave in and when I used it with the gel I ended up getting flakes. I did a twist out. It was super cute though! Maybe I used too much although I'm not sure which one it was or if it was both. I also noticed that when I touched my hair and then rubbed my fingers together it felt like there was a film on my hands. Other than that I loved the line and the smell was soooo amazing! Also as of today the exotic cool laid collection is available on the mane choice website! I saw them post it on their IG page and they also sent me an email about it.

Mango is the hard fruit to cut. I have seen picture diagrams on how to do it, but I guess I need to see someone actually cutting it. I definitely want to try this collection, but it will be a while. My stores are terrible and never have much. My Walgreens is so lame! I have already checked on the Mane Choices website and they are sold out. But I can wait. I need to try this brand
I loved the 3 in 1 from the last collection. However I had to use it as a Cowash because it lathered up like one. Amd now i dont aee it as anything else. I go with the flow of how multi-use products makes my hair feel and use it as that.if it feels good as a leave in, i use it as a leave in. if it works best as a conditioner then I rinse it out and use it as a conditioner. I love the options. You really get your money's worth with versatile products.

I did a split head test with two different leave in paired with this gel... one side had JC Curls To Go Leave In and the other side with Curls Blueberry Bliss Hair Milk. Unfortunately for me neither did the trick to help this gel out. The feel of my hair was unbearable! I had to return that gel 😞
*Just remembered I tried the gel with the leave in from the collection the first time then tried the 3-in-1 leave in my next wash day. Nothing worked!

For some reason, The Mane Choice hasn't been one of those brands I've been eager to try, until now. The mask and the gel stand out to me. This was the first collection from The Mane Choice I ever tried. I was disappointed 😞 The conditioner was not moisturizing and the deep conditioner did not make my hair feel moisturized and soft after I rinsed it out

Thank you for reviewing one of the latest Mane Choice lines. I agree with TaylorAnne: the Tropical Moringa line performed fantastically on both of your heads. The line gave y'all so much volume and they did look moisturized.
Sidenote: I noticed what appears to be a difference to me in both of your hair from the days you two reviewed As I Am Naturally, ORS Olive Oil for Naturals, and Carols Daughter Pracaxi Nectar to today. It could be the highlights (they truly look more blonde now rather than mostly brown) and/or different lighting. Has there been a change in the health of your hair from those days to today?
Jazzerlat45 Oh yes, definitely! As we always state, this product testing and reviewing job takes it toll on our hair. Also, our decision to put highlights in our hair doesn’t help the situation. With all that said, Being natural is a journey and hair changes, at least ours does, continuously. It grows, it sheds, it grows etc.... sometimes it looks fuller than at other times. Different seasons bring on different challenges. But, it’s a journey we enjoy and we are never truly bothered by the changes because it’s hair and and life goes on. The only thing I've done was cut my hair for the sake of achieving a better shape and having more volume (it got too long for my liking). I actually let my hair sit in twists for days after moisturizing/detangling it, wear it out for a couple days then go through the wash and style process again. I trim when I need to like if the ends appear see-through even after moisturizing them. I haven't deep conditioned since the dark ages of time (shame on me), but for now, my hair has been fine. I moisturize/style with the Cantu Activator Cream after watching your review on it a while back and it works wonders for my hair! I do want to try to Shea Moisture and Manuka and Mafura masque(?) and the Mane Choice Cool-Laid Masque or even protein masques just to see if my hair can look and feel even better since you two rave about them. But getting back to M.A.D. Curls, I think I speak for your subbies when I say that we really appreciate y'all testing the products and being sincere with us; we're glad that you two genuinely enjoy doing what you two do 😊

@@MADCURLS first peel the skin off the flat edge( the middle) with a knife. Then peel off one side and cut that side off ( avoid the middle part you first peeled off that's the pit). Turn to the other side and repeat. When you finish with sides you can now cut the meat off the middle part. Cut those big chunks to your desired size and enjoy! Of course, sometimes I just peel with my fingers and sink my teeth in and go to town! Lol😂😂😂

Another GREAT review ladies. Great job! Will I buy this? NOPE!!! The mane choice products never work for my hair and I feel like they are really over priced for the very little product you get smdh. Also I find it odd and suspicious that they are marketing more and more of their products to non-black people. Just like Shea moisture and Carols daughter did right before they sold their company off to a larger Caucasian own franchise. The mane choice may be ended towards that same direction. WATCH!! Tatiana Ragland well there’s nothing wrong with brands marketing to non black consumers. At the end of the day, diversifying is crucial for business growth.
With that being said, I think many of these natural brands need to create separate lines for straighter haired customers instead of watering down existing products like Shea Moisture continues to do. That’s unfortunate because naturals love these products and when they stop working it’s frustrating.
Pantene did this perfectly. They know their main consumers are straight haired people so they made a separate line for naturals instead of compromising their popular products.
Brit Ferguson yes I agree with you! I feel like there are brands that know how to do it the right way and their are brands that don’t. Like the Shea moisture thing is a problem for most because a lot of Naturals preferred how the products were before they started to change. A lot of black peoples honestly slowed down with supporting them too after them selling out. I personally only like the Jamaican black castor oil line the old and new forum last still work on my hair. I also like the new formula of the coconut and Hibiscus line too. Other then that she’s moisture isn’t the best for my hair lol.

Brit Ferguson omg YASS I HATED that damn line. Oh the yogurt one is WAY BETTER! I actually enjoy that collection too but Am protein sensitive so I don’t use that line often. I mainly liked the shampoo and the deep conditioner. Some of their lines are good but most of their newer ones are not. Like that new cloud one they have Ulta is a damn joke 😂😂😂 Definitely a white girl only product lmfao

M.A.D.CURLS I used to love their 3n1 conditioner from the original line. I like the pink lemonade line, and Hydration milk. These cool laid products had no slip. And the gel and conditioner was super drying. And the DC did nothing and I say under the steamer 😳
