Now this is what you call a "split test" lol - Good video, I've tried both and I favor the UFD over CRN, although I love the almond jai twisting butter. I might have to try that combo (UFD and almond jai)!

Oh no! Powering going out is the worst! Our lights kept flickering on and off during the storm, but we didn’t lose it thank God because we were cooking lol but so glad you’ve watched our review and the Camille Rose Gel is such a good Gel, but compared to the UFD, I agree the UFD does seem to do a little bit more. I am in love with Camille Rose, but Uncle Funky's Daughter gave her a run for the money. At first it looked like Uncle Funky's results were giving more curl definition, but as I kept scrutinizing both sides, I really don't see any difference. Well at least I know if I cannot get Camille Rose products, I know what could take its place!! Good video ladies.

I like Curl Maker. I tried Curly Magic several years ago and I didn't particularly care for it, probably cause I was transitioning and wasn't fully natural yet. Fast forward 5 or 6+ years and I purchased a bottle of Curly Magic in December and had one of the best wash-n-gos EVER! It's not nearly as finicky as Curl Maker when using with other products and just gave gorgeous curls on day 1 that lasted a full week. With Curl Maker it's takes a couple days before I hit the "sweet spot" but also lasts for a full week. Both are great products but I'm loving Curly Magic at this time.
FYI: I used your code and ordered the gel from CurlMix, can't wait to give that a try.
The1NYCgirl First of all Thank you for using our code and ordering from Curl Mix 😊 I may have to order my own “green bottle” you heard in this video how TaylorAnne took her “gift back”?......Indian giver” 😊😊😊 I absolute love any and all things Camille Rose Naturals as you guys who watch this channel know. It did take me a while to find the perfect combination when using the Curl Maker. I use it with the Jai Twisting Butter. Excellent, consistent results every time. I kept an open mid when trying the UFD and if I had to be honest with myself, I did love it. I am a loyalist by nature so I won’t be so quick to jump ship but I would not dare deny the phenomenal results that Curly Magic gave my hair. To me, both sides were equally beautiful and I’m glad to have found a new option just in case 😊➰💕➿

M.A.D.CURLS oh and I was on Target.com looking to purchase and they actually have a 12oz in the Uncle Funky Curly Magic for $15.99...that’s a big difference from the $25 mom mentioned for 12oz of Camille.

Uncle Funkys does look like it does produce a little more volume and curl definition...Very subtle differences..It i didn't know two products were used i would say you used one product. RUclips product reviewers is the best job because we make our own hours. 😂😂😂 the differences were very very very subtle but we agree, UFD produced a tad bit more volume of that’s what your looking for. But yes, if you didn’t know you would swear one product was used because the difference was barely worth mentioning 😊➰😃➿💕

Hello MAD. I can’t believe TaylorAnne took the green curl make back. One thing I soooooo want to say thank you for is the ‘untampered’ to finish look. I asked for that before but I wasn’t sure how to word it. I love the Uncle Funky in both of your hair and it seems more moisturized. I must try this now. I’m all about moisture, elongation, and smell. One smell I cannot do is Coconut. Thank you for heads up on smells. You gals are great.

I used Uncle Funkys Daughter Curly Magic for the first time, I didn’t use anything with it. My hair is not completely dry yet but it feels soft and looks defined. I have been using a DIY of flaxseed gel for a few weeks.

Ohmygaaa I literally gasped when I heard you took back the curl mix TayTay!!! 😂😂😂 I absolutely love you two. I also just styled with Uncle Funky ofcourse inspired by ya'll. I had bought the products back in May at the Hue Affair event in Bklyn. I got the Good Hair and Extra Butter but they've just been sitting on my shelf. So after washing your video I used the good hair but didn't want to use it alone cause I'm not a fan of one and dones. So I don't have the stimulator so I wanted another product so the Extra Butter it was. Just used on my ends. My curls are so soft and clumped and full. I love it. I would love to see you guys review more of this line ❤❤

At 23:30 mamaLorianne I'm hysterical! I really like the addition of your styling after dry process. I love to watch how yoo created that volume Taylor and broke the cast (if there was one). I agree though, I do my hair late at night as a wash n' sleep n' go and noticed immediatly that my hair dried super fast. I was shocked. I really love the uncle funky side for SURE

That appears to be the consensus. We are just night people. We get like this spurt of energy at around 11:00pm and get to work. By 3:00am we see we bit off more than we could chew and start bickering😂😂😂 but we always get it done👍🏽

Wow 😮... what a difference I saw with the Uncle Funky’s product on one side and Camille Rose. Funky’s to me made the the fuller with shine. Camille Rose what I use was not as full. Both products seem to work great. Will search where Funky’s can be purchased tomorrow 👍🏾. TFS!! Love 💗 you ladies. 💃🏽

I’ve used Camille rose and loved it but Uncle funky’s daughter edged it out. Both sides were nicely defined but imo the side with UFD had more volume. Now I’m on the hunt for these products. I'm sorry this is my first time on this channel. I really enjoyed watching you two. Camille Rose Curl Maker with the almond jail butter is my go to for all of my washing goes. And like you two I also experienced the long air dry time. But I love it my hair has great curls and moisture for days. Several years ago I heard great things about Uncle FUNKY. I went to Mo Knows Hair ,hair work shop in BK I purchased at least $150. WORTH of Unkle FUNKY products including the hair magic. I did a strand test when I got home and I'm not sure if it was on dry or wet hair. But, I swear I never used it. I moved and most definitely it's in a storage bin. Your video has me feeling Dang I could have use the Unkle FUNKY. Lord knows I probably brought over 50 bottle of CR from Ricky's NYC. So happy CR is now in Walgreens. I'll most likely be using all my cash post for purchase. Win win for me.

But, I must admit I was beyond pleasantly surprised after using UFD. My hair was so defined and shiny and beautiful. I could not and would not deny what the camera was showing me. I am a Camille Rose Curl Maker junkie. The first time I put that in my hair, I was blown away. NOTHING before, gave me the curl definition that did. And I almost always just damp my hair and use it on it's own. The results are phenomenal. Now with that said, this Uncle Funky's daughter looks like it's giving my girl Camille a run for her money hunni!! The Uncle Funky side on both of your hair, seems to have a little bit more fullness. But that may be from the positioning of the part....i.e. more hair on that side to begin with. I swear by CR, but I think I want to at least try the Uncle Funky's. Especially since it's 5 more ounces for only 3 dollars more. Thanks for doing this video. 💕

Gorgeous results as always. I will try both now. I don’t like to use gel because I do not like when my hair feels stiff and crunchy. But I will try those since you ladies said that your hair was soft and moisturized.

I switched because as much as I loved graphic design I didn’t think I could make a career out of it. I enjoyed creating designs, and things for myself but as far as creating things for other people, I couldn’t see myself doing that for the rest of my life, I honestly don’t think I had that much confidence in my own abilities. But if you love art, and technology and all that enough, I’d say go for it! It’s a great field!
