I love Traxxas but I'm not sure if I like the newer style of the erevo I'm sure it'll grow on me but I like the style of the original erevo when they first came out with the dish wheels.
I'm not impressed with the 2.0 I'm a little disappointed tbh, the new one don't come with half the parts and tools and Goodies the version 1 did, plus shock rod ends constantly break or pull off the end of the shocks, and suspension rod links do the same thing they snap off at the thread on big jumps and the rear dog bones keep popping out of the cups on the inside. Plus my esc didn't work out of the box and traxxas had to replace it. They should of stuck with the castle systems instead of putting there crap in it. My original brushless edition NEVER had any of these problems, only weak point I've found on the old version was the rear lower a arms crack and break, and plastic axles, that's the only issues I've had with my old one but replace the arms with rpm stuff and put steel axles in it and it's ready roll. , I ended up selling the 2.0 and keeping my old one and freshening it up. I would like to have the quick release body on my old one tho lol
A long time ago when I bought my first edition of the AE Rival, the bullets were like this, but they didnt have the cuts in them, they were solid, sadly I didnt notice it prior to the maiden run. One connection (the white I believe) came undone, motor lost power, I didnt know what the problem was and kept giving it throttle, BOOM fireworks show. Luckily I got the batteries out before the fire got to them.
I got mine about 5 months ago and I got all the hop ups and painted a body it’s a good truck however I did have to pull it apart and tighten up some screws here and there.

One thing I learned what I discovered about the transmission has a diff inside which let the front wheels spins faster and is there anything like put a thicker diff oil or spool in it? I should never sell my old E-Revo that thing go crazy accelerating. Think it possible to swap out transmission or wouldn't work?
James Ivey just put thicker oil in the centre diff if you don’t want as much diffing out. Diffs exist for a reason- to protect the drivetrain, and for better handling. Don’t put a spool in unless you are turning it in to a speed runner for onroad.
The only reason Id get one of these would be to do an E-Slayer conversion to it. It looks so small now that the Maxxis is the predominant basher. And even if I got a Revo, itd be a roller so I can bypass Traxxas electronic suite.

Ok nice car, but this is why im starting to get a litel mad at traxxas. Yes they are big, but that dosent mean that they can undermine ther qualety. When you get a car like that or a nother one for 400 to 1200 dollers, then you should not need to do what you are doing here and you should NOT need to do some update to start whit. I mean if they know that the car needs an update, then fix that before you put them out for sale. The same whit the micro servos on the trx 4, trx 6 apparently you need to set the end points on thos before driving otherwise they can break and stuff, WELL AGAIN why should YOU need to do that? That should be done from Traxxas to begin whit, we are paying a lot of money for this cars so for the love of god have good qualety right out of the box.
@Landon Bradshaw Sure i get what you are going at, but still look at all ther fast cars, they make a car that goes fast as hell and then the make tiers that cant handel the speed and ballon as crazy. Why dont adress that problem whit the next car? Take the Maxx when you make a car they proberly make test and so on, but how dide they miss the fact that they wheelbase is to narrow so it flips over all the time? Well the solution is the maxx wide kit sure, but is it the byer that need to fixe the problem that are made by the company? Becuse first you need to get the car thats 500 then the kit if you want the car to handel as it should. The same as whit the trx 4's they know that the servo they got in ther is no good, but what do they do they keep shiping out diffrent models whit the same lame servo, not even the 6x6 have the blue ore red servo in it. WHY??? That is just stupid. Here in sweden a 6x6 is 800 and then you need to add the red servo that is 120 more and the bec is 42, so you end up whit a car for 1000 to be able to drive it correct instead of making it the right way from start, when they do know that the servos that are in the car is not going to handel the load.
