Increase Your Daily Energy to Act, Love, and Lift Like the Savior

- Just like our smartphone, we start out each day charged and ready to go. However, as we begin to complete tasks on our day’s to-do list, it begins to drain from our energy stores until eventually, we’re left with little to no energy. Just like plugging in your phone, we periodically need to add energy to extend our battery’s life. But how do we do it?
The way to ensure that we have energy when we need it is to take small moments of recharge throughout the day. The Savior experienced fatigue while He served and helped others. He too took moments for Himself to rest, meditate, and pray. Be sure to stop and take time to breathe and reconnect throughout your day. As you feel that renewal, you will have the needed energy and strength to act, love, and lift as He would.

I'm a Muslim, but I respect Christianity, and this video is true.
Awesome! Even if churches have different views on things we still believe a lot of the same things and should be working together!
I'm a Christian and I know that the Church of Christ is the ONLY way back to Heavenly Father.
That's awesome! I am Christian, but I am taking a class on Judaism and Islam! It is great learning about other's beliefs. It helps motivate me to better follow my own beliefs.
It really depends, but if a Muslim subscribes to the fact that some Muhammad teachings are temporary military commands and holds Allah dear or A Catholic follows his God above any military commands of his own church. These are the types of people I respect and can support.
Actually I don't find my description good enough. A broader and more easily understood way to put it is, I am fine with whatever anyone believes as long as it does not harm anyone else's freedoms. If they are for freedom, I will support them.
Happy to belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!
This is exactly what I needed to hear today after getting 5 hours of sleep and taking care of a one year old. ❤️
Hang in there Hailee ❤️
Struggle with this too often. Whoever is in charge of these videos definitely is listening to the spirit while creating them. ❤️
I felt the same about another video, and this was also helpful. #GiveThanks
Never thought I'd see Jesus with whistling dad music in the background, but I like it.
Yes 🥰 your sister Cathy Nashvilie Tn
Great observation!
It is an amazing way how to manage our time with wisdom :)
One way I recharge is to listen to conference talks.
Love this! Needed to hear this :)
yes
Definitely YES
As someone with a chronic illness, energy conservation is key to serve our families! We can't always be depleted!
I was actually struggling with this very thing then the video popped in my recommendations what a blessing
Such a great thought and fun animation. Love this!
I Concur
Thanks for sharing this! It’s so important to extend to ourself the same unconditional love, forgiveness, grace and kindness we extend to others. Take a break! Best advice! Give yourself a break & take time to recharge!
I absolutely love this video. I was hesitant to watch out because of the title, but it is very uplifting. I enjoyed how it shares suggestions without passing judgement. Thank you for this video.
Thank you so much for this! I can think of so many times I wish I had acted more like Jesus but didn’t, simply because I was tired and irritable. I love how our WoW takes our health and energy into consideration for this!
What a perfect way to start off my day
Love this video , I will be taking this challenging on . I hope it will help me with my frustration ❤
May the Forest 🌲 be with us ALL. 💚
God Bless
I love this working-mom/stay-at-home dad video. I also love the recharge message. :-)
Such a timely message. Indeed an answer to my prayer!
This video is 100% true we need to take breaks from working or from school if you’re in a school recess helps you but if you’re homeschooled, always remember to take a couple breaks when you’re homeschooled
The churches vids are always the best to watch 😊
I'm going to complete all my tasks gotta go!!!
This animation is so great! I love it alot. I needed to hear this. I forget that it's ok to recharge. I feel like I just need to keep going and push myself even harder. To me this video shows that it's ok, to take a break and be more like yourself before you keep completing the task at hand. I easily forget that it's ok to have limits. I am so blessed to be a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. Thank you Heavenly Father for this 2nd chance!
Was just about to take a nap with my 8 month old when I saw this video ❤
Ooh, I like this!
the church is doing great things! love this
thank for this loving video!
Mosiah 4:27 has become one of my favorite scriptures on time and energy management. Also, an excellent talk on the subject is Neal A. Maxwell's "Wisdom and Order".
Thank you! I am looking those up now.
I love the idea that we need to take care of ourselves. I don’t feel like I got enough of that growing up, almost like I didn’t matter, only other people did.
Helping others is great, but you matter! Thanks for sharing.
Great video
This is so timely.... I have been suffering from burn-out since just having my 4th child (and they are all 2- years apart so my oldest is 6yrs) and I feel so mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually drained each day. This is a very powerful visual for me, and I’m starting to realize that I take better care of my phone than I do of my energy.
Good luck Darling! Those baby years are hard, but just love them and take care of yourself. Maybe hide in the bathroom to pray. Sound blocking headphones for 5 min when you know that they are all safe works too.
Blessed be! I really needed to hear this, perfect for what’s been going on.
This is so important. glad I saw this video.
What a blessing advice!
I Love ❤ my church.
Loved this. Real good advice.
Wonderful! Excellent advice and context.
A message greatly appreciated. Sometimes we all need to be reminded. 🛐🙏🙏💯
I was just wondering about how to have the energy to act as the savior would so this video is much appreciated
We need more of this!
Wow this is so timely for me. I love it.
Adorable. I am so glad I clicked to watch this. Definitely need to hear this.
I love when the dog coughs out an extra fluff from the pillow. 😂
Loved this!
This is perfect. I’m a full time student and I work full time and then another part time job. I’m exhausted so this is perfect.
Thank you so much for this!
Thanks so much! I needed that! I'm a caregiver 24/7 and work from home. This is just the right advice for me! Thank You!
A great reminder! Exactly what I needed today.
This video is the kind of relevant video I needed! Thank you
Good ideas. I appreciate seeing the mom fix her own faucet rather than the outdated assumption that she needs someone else to do it.
Love this reminder to recharge, I would have appreciated a little more reference to recharging with God, not just a drink of water or a chat with a co-worker. But I do appreciate the wholistic approach to healthy self-care.
Perhaps showing all of those, and a moment in prayer or reading a scripture to show that the power we need comes from God: his grace.
When Jesus needed replenishment, he turned to his Heavenly Father.
And we can too, turn to Heavenly Father in prayer, and through the Holy Ghost, receive grace from Jesus’ atonement during our days that strengthens us, gives us rest and hope and comfort and peace so we can face more tasks and challenges.
It doesn’t need to be after we burnout to do this, or only for times of extreme trial or difficulty, or the only way we recalibrate-it can be simple and consistent, like getting a drink of (living) water, and a chat with God, our best co-worker.
I love this wonderful video 💕.
A gentle reminder that we can rest and still go on with our tasks. This is so light and amazing. Thank you for this video! ✨
This is just what I needed to see today.
This is the exact advice I needed thank you!
Thank you for this. It’s timely!
Thank you so very much for this amazing video! I feel like it's exactly what I needed in these days... Thank you! :)
This video gave me a great start for the day. It is what I needed today. Thank you!!
Also, I love the animation!
Wow This video you made me cry
I keep my batteries charged by listening to uplifting music all day long. Well I'm at work I have my music on & I keep my phone in my pocket so I do not disturb others. No one has complained, but I have gotten questions on my music & complements too. When I go home at night I feel just as happy as when I arrived at work 8 hours before. I know this Heavenly Father manifesting in my life & blessing me to always have a good day.
This is exactly what I've been needing lately
It is a wonderful animation... always take time to recharge. Then you can be a better happier you!
I can barely remember to charge my phone when I go to bed. Thank you ADHD lol 😂. But seriously this is fantastic advice. We all need to sharpen the saw in a daily basis. Our mission president constantly reminded us of this.
Thank you for tuning in, and for your comment!
this is a good message to everybody thats watching this.
The fact that the savior took time to himself to meditate and to pray is a good reminder that we need to as well. I think that oftentimes, the stress of life is so distracting that it prevents us from being able to recognize and feel the Holy Spirit. It's not that the Spirit isn't there, or that God isn't aware of us, but it's that our physical problems are so overwhelming that we are beyond any spiritual sensitivity.
Very good advice thank you Jesus ❤😇😇😇😇😇❤
Very very good
This video is so good and gives ideas on how to manage our stressed days, thank you!!
Wow, I love this. This feels like I need to apply it. Sharing.
I love this!!!
The animation videos are the best!!! This might actually be what helps my kids understand why I need a life outside being their mother!!! 😂❤️
Thank you so much. I really needed this. I felt more and more like I've been losing my mind. I just need to pause more instead of doing a long burn on my mental capacity.
Amen keep this convincing and happy videos
Very helpful! Love the part that says that to recharge, we should do a few tasks, take a few seconds to interact with others then get back to our tasks and so on.😃
I LOVE these little vignettes! These are so well done! Thank you to the Church & to the artists & collaborators on these cute little life reminders!
God bless you, your families, work & ministry!
Perfect! 🥰
I Love this, such an important message thank you for sharing what people need to hear right now. It is ok to take that time for yourself even just 5 mins, it makes a difference to how we feel. Feed yourself in the right ways to help you grow and be the beautiful person you are. 💞xx
A message from heaven that I happened upon this! I’ve been praying about how to stop freaking out and manage it all.
Thank you for that ✝️🙏
Much needed and perfect timing. Thank you!
Thank you! I needed this. 😊🖤
I keep scriptures on the table. D&C 121 - 123 is a great recipe for recharge.
Thank you for share
Taking breaks is also great for migraines/headaches. A Pomodoro timer like the Brain Focus app has helped me a lot. Taking breaks is also good for work, because it gives the less conscience part of your brain time to have insights!
Thanks I needed that!
OHHH SO PERFECT!
Meditating on the scriptures!
Wonderful. Thank you!
True...Praying daily increases energy.... ✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️
Great content! And so true the need to slow down and recharge throughout the day.
I love this! So simple but people need to hear it! Especially women and Relief Society members; IT'S OK TO TAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF!! ❤️❤️❤️
