Tears in my eyes watching this. As a widowed father of 4 somedays i look at the skies and call out my wifes name I miss her companionship in helping me with our kids but I know as long as I stay on the covenant path the Lord will always be with me and my 4 kids.
Love you, brother! You are a rockstar and you are the whole world to those kids. Makes you a hero. I can't imagine how excited and proud of you your will be when you see her again.
The Lord is with you dear father! He is especially close to the widows/widowers.. it's such a hard place to be but the Saviour is with you and your kids. Don't give up hope..Jesus is coming back soon!
No joke, when I saw this at a low point on my mission when it was released, hearing his voice for the first time in years was such an unexpected gut punch that I couldn’t help but cry. I needed that reassurance, especially in his words.

@jelly bean I'm so sorry for your loss! She is always available to be there for you if you ask for her help in life. Know that death is temporary and you will get to see your Mother again, and celebrate life with her for eternity!
@jelly bean Just always remember that there are Always people that Love and Need you, and when you pass, hopefully after a long and prosperous life, You will get to be in your Mother's arms and care again
Lifelong agnostic atheist here. One of my dearest and most coveted friendships is with an LDS I met in graduate school. He has never let our differences in belief, nor my not adhering to a Mormon lifestyle, effect our 20 year friendship. He is one of the most honest, decent, trustworthy, loyal and purely good people I have ever know. I have always been impressed with the LDS people and I would rather live amongst the LDS than any other group of faith. My relationship with my LDS brother has been a great blessing and he serves as a foundational example of what a good person and an excellent friend is.
+RubyOpheliaQuinn these seriously are the best. I just read a talk by one of our church leaders that basically said "You're doing better than you think." I have 4 young kids and sometimes at the end of the day when the kids are crying, the house is a mess and I am just tired, I feel discouraged. But then I remember...we are doing more good than we think. Anyway if you like these videos, and you want to know more about what our church teaches about families you can go to mormon.org/chat to ask any questions you may have. Just thought I would throw it out there! :) God bless!
When I saw this video, I was touched to see how much this person was willing to give to others. I also felt saddened to watch this person give up over and over on her own needs. I would like to tell this person that her needs matter too, just as much as all the people she served that day. There were times she could have asked the people she was serving for the support she wanted. I'm sure they would have been glad to help. Please never give in or give up on yourself, you matter too. The friends she served would probably have felt hurt to find out how her day turned out and have wanted for her to be considered too. It's okay for your needs to matter too. It's okay to ask for the help you need. If you know someone who behaves this way regularly, please give them a hug.
So very true. I know they all needed her, but she really needed their help too. It's not all about giving until you are depleted. I've been there and it only causes stress and anxiety.
You never know how much good it would do to know your limitations in helping others. Also, communicating more clearly in text that she'd be there late would've helped. Or her cousin could've caught a charter bus to go to her house. Or taxi. Or Uber
This is one of the videos that my wife and I watched during the great lockdown in Shanghai in 2022. It greatly contributed to my reactivating and her converting. It pushed us to want to do hard things with heart.
I have felt like this so many times, in my past, especially raising 5 children alone in the Gospel (my dear husband is not a member). I learned the vital importance of saying something like "I am sorry, but that won't work for me right now." or "I am sorry but I can't today." And I don't sign up for everything!! I sorted out once that I was putting my name on that sign up sheet so that I didn't look "bad". Your health is important. You DO have to put your "oxygen mask" on first so you have enough "oxygen" to help others. AND, be prayerful about when you say YES I can do that... we cannot do it all, and Heavenly Father does not expect us to "walk faster". He just expects us to walk. :) ♥
Hi @AMBERLARIOS-qz2lq, we're so sorry for your loss. We know comfort and healing can come through prayer and by relying on Jesus Christ at this difficult time. He loves you and can mend your heart and give you peace. www.churchofjesuschrist.org/comeuntochrist/believe/life-has-purpose/grief?cid=42001274
I am so sorry-- I pray you will feel comfort. My dad died last March and I am still tearing up seeing photos of him etc. He was 99 yrs old and a character for sure. @@AMBERLARIOS-qz2lq
@@AMBERLARIOS-qz2lq My mom died about 8 months after returning from my mission. I was so angry at God. When she was in the hospital we prayed and fasted for her to be healed. We gave her blessings. I prayed, "there are so many rotten people in the world, if you have to take someone, take one of them! I served a MISSION for you and you're letting this happen?!" Watching her get worse and worse, then finally die was not something I'd wish for anyone. The Spirit whispered that it was her time and gave me comfort. I know God loves us and in eternity He will make up for all the suffering and crap we go through in this life. I pray you can find peace and comfort in the atonement of Jesus Christ if you haven't already. God bless you!
One thing that really stuck out to me is when the kid was praying at the end and said, "Thank thee that we could get all the things done that you needed us to do today." There was one word in there that changes the whole meaning for me. "Thank thee that we could get all the things done that *you* needed us to do today." I think sometimes we beat ourselves up because we didn't cross off everything on our to-do list, when in reality God has a different list, full of opportunities to do good and help people. Doing good is not about how many errands you can stuff into a day. It's about taking the opportunity to do what God needs you to do. Christ went about helping people, not doing His own work or serving His own will, but His Father's work and His Father's will. And if Christ is the author of everything that is good, if all good things come from Christ, then to do good means almost by definition to do as Christ did. To not run your own errands, but to "get all the things done that God needs us to do today."
I watched this and cried. Between balancing a baby, marriage, house cleaning, building a business in music, working to pay the bills, keeping up with friends, keeping up with my church calling, running a blog and all the other day-to-day activities that come up I sometimes feel I am doing so much of everything yet making so little progress in anything. This video helped me remember just how valuable everything I do is, no matter how little it is recognized by others, or even by myself. God sees it. I am creating something lasting in my family. Thank you mormon channel!!
Thanks, I have seen this video before but it really hit home and helped me tonight. People don't always value the little things that pile up on us, that we do to keep things moving, and sometimes what we think we should be doing gets completely pushed aside. We just need to pray for strength that the things we manage to do are the ones the Lord wants us to achieve and trust that he is guiding us in our hearts.
I was feeling this way yesterday, things weren't going as I was planning, and this video came just at the right moment to remind me of the importance to do good. We never know the good influence and help we can bring to others. It is a pleasure to be an answer to the prayers from others, and I must be grateful to know that Heavenly Father knows he can count on me! :)
I remember when this video first came out, I felt so emotional. It was like watching a video of myself. I often come back to watch this for encouragement on those heavy days. Thank you for this ❤️.
This video touched my heart, I am so busy with school, work, and homework that sometimes I don't get stuff I need to get done! But the best way to deal with this is to appreciate what you accomplished that day, count your blessings and move on! Pray every day to your Heavenly Father and he will help you get those things done, but in due times.... the Lord works in mysterious ways, I speak from experience and I'm sure everyone does.
Made me want to cry. As mothers we give, give, give but we also need to share with those around us our true feelings and not hide them. Being authentic about our struggles, limitations, and when we don’t feel appreciated opens up the conversation about how to balance life.
I am a single mother right now. I am battling to get back to church because it conflicts with one of my jobs. My husband was deported to Mexico because of an expired visa and down in Mexico he self medicated himself with adventure and then cleaned up and got baptized. However one day he told me that he did not love me the same anymore. And that was when I just knew in my heart there was someone else for him. We have a four year old boy who is adhd and I struggle everyday with college, keeping him calm, and here recently with my faith. I feel like things are never going to get better, although I know one day they will. I am exactly like this woman in the video. I never say no to nobody and I always aim to make people happy. I realize now that even something as simple as prayer can begin to give me hope for a better change in mine and my sons life
+Lynnette Ceron Another good scripture to remember if you need it is 1 Ne 3:17. The lord gives us no commandment unless he also gives us the strength to see that commandment through.
I thought this was a beautiful message. To those criticizing the video: I believe the point was to show that living a giving life through service can sometimes be hard and that it is not always immediately apparent the amazing difference small acts can have on others lives (hence the title "You Never Know.") I think anyone criticizing this video should watch again, trying not to judge the mother because you do not agree with her antics or her parenting, or wonder where the father is/if there is a father. Imagine, instead, that you are the mother who needed your friend to babysit while you went to the doctor- where you are going to hear the results of your recent biopsy. Or the family who just birthed a little one, who has been clinging to life for the past 6 weeks, and you have finally been able to bring your precious one home. How grateful would you be to the woman in this video for lightening your load, if only for a moment?
I'm SO glad you wrote this! Well said. I'm having a hard time understanding why there is so much criticism What would life look like if we all judged and criticized a little bit less and served just a little bit more!
+Ashley Frederickson The criticism is based on a perception that the mother overburdening herself the wahy she is here, is somehow a good thing. It isn't, and that's not the point of the video to say it is. She's making a mistake by committing to do too much. But the lord still accepts her sacriofice and she's doing some good too -- before the inevitable mommy meltdown sometime in the next 4-5 years if she doesn't learn to find time to chill.
I think the concern here is that she’s overtaxing herself. Service is important but this displays an unhealthy kind of self expectation that just reinforces the untrue idea that we are can’t have boundaries.
I need this today. I feel like I am never enough a d hearing the voice of President Hinckley tell me that I am helps me feel like I just need to keep pushing on. Good will make up the rest! So thankful for Mormon messages and I can't wait for conference.
Cried for minutes after watching this even though I'm a man. It was a much needed catharsis. I feel intensely the pain of sacrifice that is so often required in the raising of children (4 here) and the giving of service to others. Often and without even thinking about it, I repress the feelings and pain in order to provide support and relief to my wife. Just feeling these emotions and letting the tears come has increased my strength and I feel enabled to willingly go and do the dishes and sweeping and lunch making so that my four young children and wife will have a good start to their day tomorrow.
President Hinckley's message is timeless, and I can tell from many of these comments that this has touched many people for good, but is anyone else worried about the Mom in this video? It's okay to have boundaries and okay to say no sometimes. Don't run faster than you have strength. Burnout and depression are a real problem, simplify! Do all the good you can, but that doesn't mean you come last in your own life.
This is so true to life. The only thing that didn’t happen was the 1 thing that she was most looking forward to, the one thing that kept her going all day. It’s so rough, and so hard to keep going in faith when this is the pattern. I have felt the blessings and power of service but it can be so draining. The ‘hide and cry’ at the end, we know it well.
This is sooo true when we do good things, make personal sacrifices and bring happiness to people they end up doing the same and the people they affect in turn affect others in a positive way. The love branches out and has the ability to touch thousands all over the world. We don't always see this effect but if we keep our hearts open we can feel the positive impact to this wonderful world we live in. I'm not Mormon, I'm not anything but I try to love and share the love. Anyway I love this message thank you for sharing it.
This video teaches us to do good and to help other people. I watched this video a couple of times and it is a heartwarming video. I suggest that you watch it.
this made me cry.. a reminder that all the things we do for the people around seems to be like an ordinary thing without realizing how valuable it is for them and how great the impact of our efforts to their lives..
I am so grateful for the sacrifices this mother gave for others that day! Life is difficult, and it rarely, if ever goes as planned. But when you sacrifice for the Lord, you will bless the lives of others. And even though she didn't get what she wanted in the end of the video, the Lord will still bless her. Her needs will still be met, and the things she cares about are still important to the Lord. She is loved, and she felt that during her son's prayer at the end, when she was able to remember what she did do that day.
These Mormon messages are made with a lot of thought. Many people have been talking about the negatives in these different videos. Yes they may not all be perfect in every detail. But the truth is many people out there watch these and receive inspiration and it uplifts them. We can find negativity in ANYTHING. How about stop criticizing and see what you can apply to your own life. This has been hard for me because I used to criticize more, Now I am really trying to be a disciple of christ and sure things can seem silly or I may not fully agree but I see what I can apply to myself to help me become better. Please think about that.
Love what I believe the intended message was, however, not being kind to ourselves will have an impact on our ability to serve. We need to be able to create better balance, accept service and even set boundaries that may result in sometimes saying I can't do that. Alternate endings: 1. If this is a single mom, her VT arrives to babysit on time, finishes the dinner and takes it to the family while the mom meets her cousin. 2. If married, dad adjusted his schedule weeks ago and is home to actively preside. He finishes dinner and takes it to the family while mom meets her cousin. In family prayers gratitude is expressed for mom, even though she is not there.
I think of the Relief Society Sisters who take so much time to help us with our needs, and never complaining, just the smiles. I think of our Bishop and the Elders who give up their time to help those in need of moving, or their yards to be trimmed, and helping out the needy. This is what this video means to me, it is the True love of our Saviour Jesus who did not ask to much from us, but knows we do it out of love for him.
I like how the boy says in his prayer "thank thee that we could get all the things done that you needed us to do today" instead of all the things "we" needed to do, they did all the things God needed them to do today :)
I think the message was YOU NEVER KNOW who you you will help in your daily lives. This single mother managed to help every person she Met that day. She didn't know what they were struggling with or how her influence would help them later that day. So you never know how you can help someone.
How thankful I am for all the amazing mothers who devote their lives in service for their families. You who go unoticed by the world but stay true to the calling you have been entrusted with. You truly are doing the Lord's work. I know one day your reward in heaven will be great. May the Lord bless each of you out there.
Goodness, I feel gutted! Poor mama having to go through all that ... in just one day. This video has motivated me to seek out the single mums in my area and seek that they are taken care of. Thanks, Church!
I was born in Spain in 1946, my mom went to the market every day to buy food and then cook it. It was two meals-a day- for four people, for some years she was cooking with coal, she had to wash our clothes-by hand-dry them out in the sun and then, do the ironing, clean our apartment and prepare out baths-every saturday-with hot water that had to be heated on an oven. Of course, modernity was coming and house work became less stressful but, not less demanding. As I have grown to be a grandfather, I have also come to appreciate the work of women who, stayed home and were just house wifes who did more than ''just,'' they did a lot.
Still crying. Every time. It really hits home and helps me to move on. My life is not a mess when I love others. Everything around me may seem to fall apart, but I will not if I am there for those I love. This mother learned this. And how strong she was! How much good she did!
We have seven kids and I could relate, I cried even though I’ve seen it many times. My wife yells much louder than that :) and she’s not afraid to say no, but she lives a very similar life and I have empathy for her. I know she’ll be blessed for the good she does. When we rely on Christ’s atonement, there is a richness always there through all of it. It seems all for nothing if we start to abandoned our faith like Peter sinking in the water. We can walk right over the storms peacefully.
Great vid. Nice to see the church show some love to those homes that don't have two parents. Solo parents, are amazing and contribute a lot to the strength of the church.
Julie de Azevedo Hanks Probably spending time with a bunch of people he is getting paid to work late with, knowing that he is missing the day to day lives of the few people he cares most about so that he can provide for their future. The way you spell love is T-I-M-E right?
This is a good reminder! It’s true it’s always great to lend a hand, big or small because obviously it blesses others. But it’s important to draw the line if you will struggle hard by volunteering when you really don’t have the availability (it’s important to remember this idea, but you can’t feel like someone’s life depends on you when you won’t be able to do it all…you have your own life to take care of as well). God bless you!
I felt strongly that I needed to come to the youtube video and comment on this video. Many of my friends have shared this video using social media, hoping to receive a much needed pick me up I watched it. This video is so unhealthy! Yikes! This poor mother portrayed needs to learn boundaries and self care. I wept for her at end not because the message was touching my heart but because I was so sad for her. I honestly feel like the same message could have been expressed in a much more healthy and positive light. I hope no mother feels she needs to sacrifice herself for some unseen benefits of others. We, as women, can still be powerhouses for good and take care of ourselves. An empty pitcher can not give water to others until it's full.
This is an important message, that we will never know the good we do when we make sacrifices to help others. God sees our offering and accepts it and we can feel good about that. But we can also serve and love and sacrifice without sacrificing much needed activities for our own mental health. It's important as women in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to serve and love and sacrifice AND make time for self care and even some of our wants so that we can continue to serve and love and sacrifice. Please know that it is OK and necessary to say no sometimes too. You get to decide and seek the spirit for those times, but know that there is still an incredible amount of good you do that you'll never know even when you need to say no to take care of your own mental health.
I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. & they video is so true! We ALL can make a huge difference by doing simple things without even knowing it 💞
We are often so focused on what we wanted to do we forget that some of the things we skipped were because the Lord needed us for something more than that. We should be open to help those around us because often the Lord sent them our way. When you feel that you failed just remember that you are helping the ones who need you most and the Lord is grateful for that. So what I'm trying to say is you *don't* _fail_ you just set something aside for the Lord
What I love about this video: President Hinckley's quote. The realistic messy house. The mom who is having a tough day. The cameo by Al Fox Carraway. What concerns me about this video: My first impression was that the video portrayed an already overwhelmed mother who over-committed to others and neglected her own needs. She encouraged similar behavior in her sister when she asked "who would help them if you left?" I believe in serving in the kingdom -- I'm currently the compassionate service coordinator in my ward and have been so touched by the responses when service is needed. I also believe that you need to put on your own oxygen mask first. I love the idea that sometimes our day doesn't go as planned, and sometimes we disappoint people, and sometimes we don't complete our checklist. But I believe that this concept could have been presented in a healthier way.
I'm married to just such a woman. She makes such a difference in so many people's days, but doesn't often see anything beyond a messy room or one item on a list of twenty that didn't get completed. Can't wait to show her this video tonight!
+Nizar Aljanaby Mormons are people of the LDS faith. We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Good question! "Mormon" is a nickname given to members of the Church is Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Here's a brief definition of who we are. www.mormon.org/faq/topic/about-mormons/question/the-mormons If you have any other questions, as a Mormon of more than 13 years I'd be happy to answer any questions. Or you can ask a missionary on that same website who dedicates all of their time just to teach about Jesus Christ and Mormonism. Have a great day!
I appreciate that this video is an attempt to uplift. But I have to say, this sort of mentality - that in order to be "good Mormons" we have to say yes to every single request from others, to the point of neglecting our own emotional needs - is one of the main reasons that so many women in the church struggle with depression. It's upsetting to me that this video seems to be praising this woman for putting her own emotional needs very last on her list. I feel like that isn't the sort of thing we ought to be encouraging in the church, because glorifying this kind of behavior encourages people to neglect themselves, which in turn results in very real emotional health problems. This glorification of self-neglect is a recipe for depression and deep distress in one's life. And i wish the church could find a way to encourage women to serve others without also encouraging them to completely neglect their own needs.
Monica H, you’re missing the point. The woman in the video is serving others and that’s what the lord has always taught. Serving others does not mean self-neglect. It is up to you wether you choose to serve or not, but serving brings happiness and peace, it helps you forget your own troubles which is one of the reasons I personally believe that the lord has asked us to serve. If helping others was self-neglect then I’m pretty sure that the lord would’ve never asked us to do it or he himself would’ve never done it. Serving others is building up love for yourself and for the people you help as well and the lord will recognize it and give you blessings. For this woman her blessing was being able to realize that she has been able to bless the lives around her and make them easier and she learned a lesson “you never know how much good you do”. My mom is the primary president and she is always helping others around her, she makes sure every kid in primary is alright, every teacher is good, and that her family is well. Because of her service I’ve seen some of the blessings the lord has given to her such as being able to pull through tough days, helping her keep her responsibilities as a mom, a teacher, and as the primary President together, and she has also been blessed with being able to find comfort and joy.
I also fail to see how the video is "praising" her self-sacrifice. We see her break down, grow more agitated, and have an awful time due to her own fault of squishing everyone in. Her perspective changes at the end on hearing her son won the science fair, but she doesn't recieve the visions of the other people. She is taking solace in her altruism, yet stil mourns the loss of one very special event. And is this not reality for many a parent? Is it not something that we can all relate to in one way or another? The point wasn't to glorify bad prioritizing, but instead to show what sacrifices do for others. By no means is this my favorite video, or would I ever encourage people to be 100% like the Mom. But the message...? The message of our butterfly effects is an important one, and who better to focus that message on than an overworked mother?
It's true that the intent of this video was a good one, but I agree with Monica that the message is devalued by showing her giving up something that was so important to her mental health. She gave up many other things to serve which I think we can all relate to. Service is never convenient. But to show her also giving up something so important to her mental health is a message that is not helpful to be sending.
***** Yes, it is exhausting however this lady and ourselves also need to take responsibility and say NO to things. She is burnt out. It takes humility to say no and wisdom to look after yourself!! Wish they would have that in this film!
It's a great thing that so many mothers are in the trenches getting the work done of raising families. This makes me appreciate my own mom, my wife, and other women who sacrifice so much. I think I need to go to the store and buy some flowers now.
I just watched this video before, but tonight it has touched my heart so much because I love 'the women in my life' (wife, daughter, mom, sis, niece, sis in law and mom in law) and I know how much they work so hard in their lives to give best of themseves to our families. Thanks a lot for this message and Presid. Hinckley´s words.... I know it is GOD´S WORDS. GOD BE WITH ALL OF YOU.
"Many Mormon women do not have clear boundaries for themselves. They feel a sense of confusion about who they are, because many competing voices lay claim to them and they try to accommodate them all. For example, when I became a member of the Relief Society general presidency, I was appalled at how many women were tormented by guilt about their responsibilities as mothers. They seemed unable to see a boundary between themselves and their children. If a child deviated from what was expected, it became a burden that the mother bore. . . . It is a strength for women to be able to cross their own boundaries easily when they are meeting the needs of their children and serving others, but it is a great disadvantage when they feel every call for service as an imperative which they are obligated to meet. Remember, a boundary has “yes” on one side and “no” on the other. A woman who never feels that she can say “no” is lacking an important element of personal identity and, hence, personal safety.” -Chieko Okazaki, Boundaries, p. 5-6
I liked the part about the prayer. When the kid asked "What about prayer?" This is the struggle I am going through with my family. I am a member but my family is not. I am trying to institute prayer into our family life and they are fighting me like I asked a hard thing of them to take a few minutes out of their day in the morning and night to get together as a family and pray. I wish and pray that soon they will be willing to pray with me and feel of the spirit as we pray as a family.
I'm a convert to the church who needs to get back there. And I wasn't purposely persuaded to believe in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. point 1- But all my prayers! have been answered through and by Heavenly Father He sent the missionaries my way so that within it's self was a blessing And that we "need" from him instead of "wanting" from Him all the time. # thanks!

Mormon.org is a fantastic place to learn more and connect with members of the Church. I hope you choose to learn more!
Its hard being a mother when you are at home with your kid. I wish it could been easier for her. This is my favorite Mormon channel because it gives you the spirit and it almost made me cry. I like the part when they said a prayer. And also it made me almost cry so so bad. I think you also probably were crying too. And I mean it for real.

@jelly bean I'm so sorry for your loss! She is always available to be there for you if you ask for her help in life.
Know that death is temporary and you will get to see your Mother again, and celebrate life with her for eternity!
@jelly bean Just always remember that there are Always people that Love and Need you, and when you pass, hopefully after a long and prosperous life, You will get to be in your Mother's arms and care again
jelly bean You should not blame yourself and your siblings for your Mothers death. You were only 5 years old. I am sorry for your loss.
I'm not Mormon but these messages have been really helping my spirit today. Thank you.
Very good!

Thanks for your message....
You be welcome always at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints....

My thoughts exactly!
Or taxi. Or Uber
Absolutely! Agreed! 🤗
Yes I think
I'm an atheist yet I find these videos absolutely beautiful.
You totally made my day with your comment, Charlotte.
Charlotte Gardner I like that attitude, glad that we as people can grow towards becoming better
God believes in you, sweetie.
I'm so glad.
All things that are beautiful are of god and you are beautiful too he created you
This is one of the videos that my wife and I watched during the great lockdown in Shanghai in 2022.
I feel I cant keep my oxygen now my dad died friday and I'm broken
He died saturday
I'm not Mormon but this channel has inspired me so much.

Makeuplover 436, Welcome to this channel! 🌼
Yes.But I can't to say what plan there.
Good! I hope you will be able to learn more about us!
Just join to mormon so🤗
One thing that really stuck out to me is when the kid was praying at the end and said, "Thank thee that we could get all the things done that you needed us to do today."
There was one word in there that changes the whole meaning for me.
"Thank thee that we could get all the things done that *you* needed us to do today."
I think sometimes we beat ourselves up because we didn't cross off everything on our to-do list, when in reality God has a different list, full of opportunities to do good and help people.
I loved hearing President Hinckley's voice and the beautiful message I sometimes forget. Thank you.
This had me bawling. So thankful for a Savior who brings meaning into our lives!
Mesa temple ❤️
This video made me cry...it so true we never know the good that we actually do for others...
It was good to hear president Hinckley's voice again. Thank you!
A friend shared this with me at just the right time. I'm grateful!
I'm not LDS, but I am a mom. I've watched this a few times, and every time it makes me cry...
Consider looking into our religion! It's really very cool! God love you and have a wonderful day!
Me too! It really spoke to me. I think all of us moms, in one way or another, struggle to know our worth. Its a good reminder to look at the positive.
You never know how much good you do. You're beautiful and wonderful women!
I am LDS it still makes me cry.
Why are people disliking this? This gives us inspiration and hope! Why!?
No matter what happens, if I'm feeling down, I always come back to the mormon messages. I love being LDS.

Totally agree. Couldn't have said it better.
I miss our dear Prophet President Hinckley’s encouragement!!!
Pres. Hincley voice always soften my heart ❤️
Made me want to cry. As mothers we give, give, give but we also need to share with those around us our true feelings and not hide them. Being authentic about our struggles, limitations, and when we don’t feel appreciated opens up the conversation about how to balance life.
Thanks for sharing your comment and perspective, Kim.
I realize now that even something as simple as prayer can begin to give me hope for a better change in mine and my sons life
Lynnette Ceron I know that God loves you and is so proud of you. 1st Nephi 21: 14-16 :) :) Stay strong, hermana.
+Lynnette Ceron Another good scripture to remember if you need it is 1 Ne 3:17. The lord gives us no commandment unless he also gives us the strength to see that commandment through.
Praise the Lord

@@mansfieldfamily5389 exactly!
Your not on your own it's awesome this is.
I havent been to church in a few years and watching this made me miss it so much. Thanks for this channel.
We're glad you're here!
I am fasting today and I am just going to watch things that have to do with God ❤❤❤
I'm glad to hear his voice. I miss my old friend.
Beautiful, caring, devoted mother. She will be cherished & honored by her family forever. Love this video! Love to all the moms everywhere!
Makes me miss Gordon b Hinckley. What a beautiful message.
I was bingwatching inspirational messages today and this video touched me
this made me cry.. a reminder that all the things we do for the people around seems to be like an ordinary thing without realizing how valuable it is for them and how great the impact of our efforts to their lives..
Christ has all the answers that we could ever need. There is nothing that is impossible for our loving Father in heaven. Praised the Lord! Amen!
Tears, tears everywhere! Thank you for this beautiful reminder.
Still brings me to tears .
I cry it is so touching Praise God❤️😇🙏🏻
I missed so much hearing President Hinckley's voice. I almost cried when i heard him!
Wow!!! Heart touching story! I randomly found these videos 7 years later.... and I like them ✨
Still crying.
It looks like she's wearing a wedding ring. Where's hubby???
Julie de Azevedo Hanks Probably spending time with a bunch of people he is getting paid to work late with, knowing that he is missing the day to day lives of the few people he cares most about so that he can provide for their future. The way you spell love is T-I-M-E right?
I thought her husband was away on business or something, isn't that who she was texting the whole time?
She was texting her friend who had a layover. I would assume she is single, it looks like she deals with these things on her own everyday.
If she was a single sister, why wasn't she working?
Where were the clues she took the day off?
Where did the kids come from?
This is a good reminder! It’s true it’s always great to lend a hand, big or small because obviously it blesses others. But it’s important to draw the line if you will struggle hard by volunteering when you really don’t have the availability (it’s important to remember this idea, but you can’t feel like someone’s life depends on you when you won’t be able to do it all…you have your own life to take care of as well). God bless you!
This made my cry even im not a Mormon

An empty pitcher can not give water to others until it's full.

motherhood is a tough responsibility yet challenging but rewarding..sometimes we fell exhausted and need to be reminded of our full potential
This video teaches me to be a better person
I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. & they video is so true! We ALL can make a huge difference by doing simple things without even knowing it 💞
We are often so focused on what we wanted to do we forget that some of the things we skipped were because the Lord needed us for something more than that. We should be open to help those around us because often the Lord sent them our way. When you feel that you failed just remember that you are helping the ones who need you most and the Lord is grateful for that. So what I'm trying to say is you *don't* _fail_ you just set something aside for the Lord
we should all be happy for what our parents do for us each day
What I love about this video: President Hinckley's quote. The realistic messy house. The mom who is having a tough day. The cameo by Al Fox Carraway.
What concerns me about this video: My first impression was that the video portrayed an already overwhelmed mother who over-committed to others and neglected her own needs. She encouraged similar behavior in her sister when she asked "who would help them if you left?"
I believe in serving in the kingdom -- I'm currently the compassionate service coordinator in my ward and have been so touched by the responses when service is needed. I also believe that you need to put on your own oxygen mask first.
I love the idea that sometimes our day doesn't go as planned, and sometimes we disappoint people, and sometimes we don't complete our checklist. But I believe that this concept could have been presented in a healthier way.
dear Jesus thank you for healing me today.. I believe in you lord... help all the people bring them to you lord
I'm married to just such a woman. She makes such a difference in so many people's days, but doesn't often see anything beyond a messy room or one item on a list of twenty that didn't get completed. Can't wait to show her this video tonight!
May the Lord bless all of the wonderful women of the world! Who work so hard!
I can't believe there are dislikes. This is a great message, for Mormons or not!
What is mormons?
+Nizar Aljanaby Mormons are people of the LDS faith. We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We believe that a people who migrated from Jerusalem to the americas bc kept a record of their people and that Christ visited them after the resurrection. We believe many other things. If you want to know more, go to les.org
+Nizar Aljanaby Its a type of religion.
Good question! "Mormon" is a nickname given to members of the Church is Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Here's a brief definition of who we are.
www.mormon.org/faq/topic/about-mormons/question/the-mormons
If you have any other questions, as a Mormon of more than 13 years I'd be happy to answer any questions. Or you can ask a missionary on that same website who dedicates all of their time just to teach about Jesus Christ and Mormonism. Have a great day!
+Nizar Aljanaby you can find out more about the Mormons here: www.Mormon.org
I am mormo and i am proud to be mormon, alot of beautiful blessings happen to us,we can do the hard work if we do it together😇😇😇😇
I think I need to go to the store and buy some flowers now.
this actually made me cry. AMEN!!
this is how I feel, just like her! I love this message! I love the gospel!
A woman who never feels that she can say “no” is lacking an important element of personal identity and, hence, personal safety.”

I love this video so much, and I thank the Lord above for everything especially my family..... Mormon 4ever
I love this video. What a beautiful rendition of a real day.
I miss Gordon B Hinkley, but I'm grateful he is an example and I know I can do a lot of good even when I don't notice all I do.
This remindes me of my mom she is so hard working and i do not know what i would do with out her!
I'm a convert to the church who needs to get back there.
And I wasn't purposely persuaded to believe in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.
point 1- But all my prayers! have been answered through and by Heavenly Father He sent the missionaries my way so that within it's self was a blessing
And that we "need" from him instead of "wanting" from Him all the time.
# thanks!

I am a Mormon and a kid my mom made me watch this but now I really like it.
I'm not a Mormon. I'm Christian. So they are almost the same beliefs. This is a beautiful video with a beautiful message.
I'm a Christian too
Same.
what is a Mormon?
A Mormon is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We believe that God has restored His true church on the earth with living prophets and apostles to guide us and counsel us. Mormon.org is a fantastic place to learn more and connect with members of the Church. I hope you choose to learn more!
If you want to learn more about what we believe in read our articals of faith.
No matter how many times I watch this video I always cry!!!!
This is so powerful. Even for a non member to see. I cried, honestly. I don't realize what I do for others every day.
This was just what I needed today, thank you! :)
