Ok finally made this but I had to whip the cream in a stainless steel bowl that I put in the freezer the night before. Made the chocolate mix separately and then mixed it in the whipped cream. Tastes so wonderful! Have to make a coffee one!

Dalgona is a beverage made by whipping equal proportions of instant coffee powder (in this case chocolate), sugar, and hot water until it becomes creamy and then adding it to cold or hot milk.
Dalgona is not a drink. It is a sugar snack(more like a street food for kids, to me it’s basically a junk) made with baking soda and sugar heated up to a certain temp. Look it up on any Korean youtube videos or blogs.

Now I know why I always failed at making the dalgona chocolate. I didn't add whipping cream to my choco mixture. Used 2 tbsp dutch cocoa powder + a packet of stevia. Whisk for 15 minutes and no stiff peaks whatsoever 😢 Decided to just add skim milk and call it a day.

I have made this about 11 times and i still make it its super good and heres a tip for people using granulated or powdered sugar ( if your mix is still not that stiff try putting in it the fridge for 30 minutes or in the freezer for 10 minutes it will get much more thicker because of the heavy or whipping cream . It will float in the milk anyways but if u wanted more stiff then try whisking if after putting in in the fridge/freezer . ) Plus if you put in in the freezer for about overnight it will turn in to the best texture of Super creamy ice cream (u need to try it )
s.m. b. Hello! 😊 yes, it does affect the consistency. It’s preferable to use chilled heavy cream because the fat globules emulsify faster and stay emulsified longer when cold. You may also want to chill your bowl and beaters in your fridge until cold, but you should be able to whip cream just fine as long as you do not let it rest once you remove it from the fridge.❤️
Great recipe! Doesn’t the lack of sugar take away the whole point of dalgona though? As in the sugar candy 😆 This’d be more like whipped cocoa and milk! Still, would love to try this :)

Yup but you need to mix it with sugar syrup! To cook it. I tried using this technique when i tried green tea dalgona! My sister said the smell of the egg white is too strong but i smelled nothing 🧐 maybe i need to try putting only half!

That's nice but it's not really Dalgona Chocolate; it's whipped cream with chocolate powder added to it. True Dalgona Coffee is made with just water to begin with and then added to some sort of cold dairy. Nice dessert though! I was gonna do it the same way but with just coffee. Yup but you need to mix it with sugar syrup! To cook it. I tried using this technique when i tried green tea dalgona! My sister said the smell of the egg white is too strong but i smelled nothing 🧐 maybe i need to try putting only half!

That's nice but it's not really Dalgona Chocolate; it's whipped cream with chocolate powder added to it. True Dalgona Coffee is made with just water to begin with and then added to some sort of cold dairy. Nice dessert though! I was gonna do it the same way but with just coffee. Now, I'll use coffee AND chocolate and make a "Mocha Dalgona Coffee!" Thanks for sharing this video!
