Thank you for the product recommendations! I am unsure if I should only re-fill cracks/chips or if I should also re-enamel my tub. My tub has a handful of chips on the ground layer as well as paint chipping away from the tile walls. Can you suggest whether to only fix the chips or add on coats of enamel to smooth everything out?

I used the one that came from a big box, it matched for a few years but integrity is good. I also did the DIY recoating from a big box. Worked great and time consuming but held, do not throw out the material and call the company for advice. Another time I paid a person $300 to recoat a tub and it looks great and is like new, allowed me to raise the rent a bit. Thanks for the video.

Ok watched the video and followed the directions, but how did you go from the 4 digit number color code to the one letter 2 numeric digit color code on the web site? All the color codes on the web site you listed are formatted as: A12 and your color code you pulled from the toilet is formatted as: 1234. I searched the internet and find no translation between the two?

this is why you shouldn't buy flipped houses! seriously, pay a pro, get a warranty. literally less than 200 to fix all that and it would be invisible and hold up for years. every flipped house has shortcuts like this that you will inherit and have to pay to correct not long after you move in! My daughter bought one from a self proclaimed genius realtor and had to spend over 3k in first 6 months in repairs, including gutting a newly tiled shower (was a normal bath converted to walk in) and they did no prep and it allowed water into walls and her closet (adjacent) was covered in black mold! we had to do so much work to fix that as they didn't use a membrane, literally, they used nothing behind the tile to stop water from getting in! so yeah, its a sugar coated turd! looks good so you take a lick and yum, sweet! take a bite and you got a mouth full of poop! his own words at the end are its "good enough" and you negotiate at the end if they notice it. man, really? i cannot abide this attitude. NEVER BUY A NEWLY FLIPPED HOUSE! ask him to pay for a warranty for first year and guarantee everything for at least that long, in writing and save yourselves the headaches. totally disingenuous- and he sounds proud of his work! if thats what is front and center what do you think is behind the walls where we cannot see? his own words he says it, it is not me projecting.

Just shut up . You keep making the same stupid post. How many times do I have to block your sorry little butt. Not everybody has the money nor do they need to go and refinish an entire tub and pay the $800 for that kind of work it's unnecessary and a waste of money. only stupid people would do that for a little chip. I'm a journeyman painter as well, San Francisco Union, so I'm pretty sure I know what the fuck I'm doing. quit your bitching and get a girlfriend or boyfriend or whichever preference you prefer I really don't give a shit. Just shut up, I'm trying to help people that's it. And by the way all my homes do you have home warranties when I sell them. Now fuck off.
