What kind of printer do you need to do this we have a RUclips channel .. For Johnny’s Corner which is my husband and I and I have a cricut explorer 3 I have a computer and the cricut .. But was wondering which printer to have for me to do this
Great video! You are suppose to apply pressure to the heat press while in use. This will help in the design not curl or fall of as quickly in the future.
Don't fully know but I'm pretty sure it mostly works with inkjet printer. Of course you'd have to buy the printable vinyl for the inkjet printer that is inkjet compatible m inkjet printer is most usual ink printer that use liquid ink
I cant believe I missed this comment. I apologize. I am using HTVRONT transfer paper. Its hard to find the Silhouette paper that I was using in the video. amzn.to/3OaNTNt
Hi! What kind of clear transfer tape did you use for the small letters? This is what I have issues with is transferring the tiny letters. Mine melted to my strong grip transfer tape 🤪😤
I use HTVRONT transfer paper now but on this video I used Silhouette’s transfer paper. Check the description box for a link or look at my recent HTVRONT live video.
Great, quick question!? I can regularly print out a complex logo with cricut, have it cut out to my liking n heat press it without transfer tape but for lettering I do need the transfer tape?
Hi! This was so helpful, thank you so much! What material did you use for the little chef guy image? I know you used the vinyl for the words but wasn’t sure on the picture! I just got a cricut yesterday and trying to learn what I can. Would love to make shirts for my husbands business, his logo is very colorful as well so I’m a little confused on all of it lol!

I found in a recent project that there is a cricut vinyl that has more of a soft matte look and another that is more shiny. For the black I like the matte. The shiny was a bit much and not as appealing in touch or look.
I'm confused or need help with when you print it when you print do you use your own printer? i would appreciate a little more detail on the printing part, and when you print you use the special paper you bought right? the cricut will work with the printer you have set up? idk if I'm making any sense i have the cricut maker

Hello Charlene. I show the package at the 49 second mark. It is printable heat transfer vinyl or printable HTV. You cannot use regular white vinyl as that will not adhere to your shirt. I hope this helps.

You can do it! I have any additional tips right now. I am putting out another print and cut video this weekend. You can always ask me questions if you get stuck and I will try to walk you through the issue.
how did you do the overall layout? design it, but then separate the wording and the photo into 2 separate files since once was iron on and the other was htv? then lay them out together before heating them on.?
The picture was sent to me by my friend. The font around the picture was done in design space. I selected the font that I wanted to use and use the curve tool to make it curve around the picture. I printed and cut the picture and then put in on the shirt. Then I cut the letters and weeded them. I placed them around the picture and put them on the shirt as well. I hope this helps!
Thank you for replying. I kinda thought that is what you did. I"m in the process of making a 'chemo' shirt for my son to wear on his chemo days. I have the clipart, but wanted wording curved around it. that is how I have it set to go. you just affirmed how I should do it. now to figure out how to get it onto the vinyl and then the t-shirt transfer paper.
Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. I will be praying that chemo goes well. Maybe you can send me the image and words through a direct message via Twitter (@procrascreation) or procascreationdiy.com) and I can get you started.
thank you so much for that. I don't do the Twitter thing. I guess I got turned off by a certain someone who is always on there trying to make life worse for people. I do have an email address and a FB page.

You missed so many steps. How did you get the words to come out white? What was that that plastic you placed on top of the picture once it was on the shirt? Does anyone know of a better video?
