I’ve never seen this doll sculpt before. She actually looked really cool with that short buzz cut looking hair style when you removed the hair. You should make a short haired doll like that next.
She's so pretty. Normally I don't care as much about the stock box ones, cause I'm more interested in the based of existing stuff. But this is definitely a favorite
Tip: If you want to make the ends of the hair curly as well, start out as usual by braiding the hair like normal. Then, as you’re tying it off, only pull the remaining hair through halfway (it should form a kind of messy bun or a loop). After it’s set in place, the ends should be curled as well. I’ve never tested this out on nylon hair, but I have to braid my hair at night (so it doesn’t get messy) and this often helps it have a wavy texture all the way through. Feel free to try this on spare nylon or doll heads before trying it on a main doll since I’m bad at explaining and I don’t want you to ruin a doll because of my terrible instructions. Hope this helps you in some way!
