I had a lot of fun making this doll. And now we have twice the fairy goodness! :D I actually wanted to give this doll a cute Korean name to match with Iggy's, but the word for mushroom is 'bosot (버섯)'... yeah, not very pretty sounding. Also, turns out I have a Headmistress Bloodgood doll that I totally could have used the body for!! Ahhhh

yes nearly every family ive seen has different skin tones between each member, even if its just undertones and such. its always weird to see fictional families all be the same shade of brown when thats rarely how it is in actual life :,3

I love the little detail of making her palms a lighter color (at least from what I can see). It really adds realism to the doll and makes me so happy to see!
I’ve rewatched this video so many times I probably could quote the voiceover word for word. Dollightful’s videos are a really good auditory stim for me- her cheerful voice and boppy background music are so soothing, and her work is infinitely inspiring.

Honestly this doll made me very happy. She has my body type which I have always been insecure about. And seeing comments mention it and say it looks really good gave me a much needed boost of confidence. You can see better at 5:52

This doll was the inspiration of my very first reroot, and now 3 reroots and 1 faceup later I still love watching this doll be made as if it were the first time!
i just love how diverse dollightful is with her doll making. she’s so appreciative of other cultures an respectful while also being inclusive. so no one feels left out :)

I know this is a weird thing to say but I LOVE when you keep your mistakes in your craft videos! Sometimes when I'll be making something similar, I'll happen to make the same mistake and won't know how the video's doll didn't make the same. When you mess up it helps me understand where you went wrong as well and be able to not make the same mistake in the future!
Iggy looks like a fairy in the middle of summer and amanita looks like a fairy in the transition of summer to autumn. I love them!

to save the last inch of glue in a bottle of fabri-tac glue, you can add a bit of acetone to it to thin it out a bit. Fabri-tac glue is acetone-based, so this won't inhibit its adhesiveness.

I think one of my favorite things out the doll is her boots they feel so handmade almost like she made them herself which I think would actually be really cool as for say a story for her is that all those bottles that she has she collects fire flies and butterflies and watches them grow and loves making her own clothes and bags and tools I don’t know this just came up in my mind on the spot.
