- Welcome to another episode of squishy makeovers, where I transform ugly, used, old, dirty, cheap or unwanted squishies (donated by my subscribers) into my own creations. I repair, paint and cut away for hours on end to complete these. Hopefully you like them. Get used to lots of rainbow and sprinkles, because I am addicted to both!

1. CAN I SEND YOU SQUISHIES?
So many generous people have sent me their unwanted squishies so I actually have a lot to work on already, BUT if you desperately want to, you can request my mailing address in the email ALLLL the way at down in the description (sorry for the traveling), make sure to read the disclaimer down there as well.
2. ARE SQUISHIES RETURNED TO THE SENDERS AFTER THE MAKEOVER?
No. These squishies are sent as donations to the series because they are damaged and/or no longer wanted. Everyone has been informed in advance that squishies would not be returned.
3. WHAT PAINT DO YOU USE?
I use fabric paint. Fabric paint is meant to stretch, so it is perfect for squishing! Any brand will work fine, but I mainly use Tulip. You can find it at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, A.C. Moore, Walmart, Joann Fabrics, and Online.
5. WILL FABRIC PAINT CRACK?
The matte fabric paint is more likely to crack after lots of squishing. Slick fabric paints never crack. But there are benefits to both. I usually mix the two paints together to get the best of both worlds.
6. CAN I USE ACRYLIC PAINT ON SQUISHIES?
I would not recommend that. Acrylic paint will either make the squishy hard, or it will crack and flake off very easily.

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh) Elizabeth and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 29 and like doing creative activities (mostly painting on things), or really anything that gives me an excuse to use rainbows, sprinkles and my own cutesy characters in excess. I'm heavy into editing, so my video are chalk full of sound effects, filters and lil....moments, or as we like to call them "MEmes." I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and various other items I find. I also love to draw, traditionally and digitally. I'm not the most skilled artist out here, but I like to focus on having fun with creativity and being able to laugh at my own mistakes.

Since you said you haven't liked the pink in your last 3 rainbow sets you could try working backwards on the next set. Start at purple and do pink last. You mentioned that it gets better as you go and often times when something is not working even a small change can help a lot!

I was going to suggest changing the order up. When you create a series of something I think the first one is either guaranteed to be the one you like the least, or the one you completely adore. 😂 There's not much in between for the first one of a series.
I was slightly concerned that Moriah may actually lose her mind if we suggest going out of rainbow order lmao!

Little tip I do for metallic paint. I get a normal paint colour close to the metallic colour and do a coat of that first just so it's base blends more with the metallic

Bit of a tip with metallics, I've found if you mix in a little bit of white into the first few coats then go in with the pure metallics it layers much faster.
My tip with metallics: Paint a base coat of what the colour will be if it was not metallic. For silver, use a layer of grey and let it dry, then your layers of silver.
For gold, start with a yellowish - light brownish layer.

✨Video idea✨buy a dollhouse and dedicate each room to one of your characters. Then sculpt the characters in their corresponding rooms and then paint the furniture.

Helpful painting advice: when painting with metallic’s especially gold it’s best to start with a black base coat. Saves on the paint!

I think adding a flower to the pink panda's head might have done the trick. It did feel like a tiny little something was missing. I really love her despite that.

Moriah! You should do two squshies that resemble your children
Basically another "My baby/toddler picks what i do" but it'll be them picking out stuff that they like for a squishy resembling them like how you have one for yourself!
Or you can just make it yourself based on what you know about your kids but i think it'd be cooler to let them pick it out themselves!

The rainbow is a spectrum. You could divide it into as many different “colors” as you want cus they’re blended together so there’s no clear division. There’s no verse in the Bible that says that he made it with seven colors is there?
Squishy makeovers are just the greatest, seeing how Moriah can take old and damaged squishes and turn them into new characters and things is awesome 👍

I think Moriah should make a “yearbook” with ALL her characters from the past 4 years. The ones from 2020 are seniors, the 2021 are Juniors, the 2022 are Sophomores and the 2023 are freshman. Also you should have a “who’s who” page so like “who’s most likely to be a class clown” “who’s most likely to talk back to the teacher” “who’s most likely to be a collage athlete”

Tip for metallic paint!! If it’s gold, paint it yellow first and then add the gold. If silver, do grey first then silver. It makes it look opaque so much faster!

My working idea is the bottles are magical, so when someone takes possession of one of the bottles they change colors to match it. Since no one found the green paint and they left it open, the paint spilled and since it’s magic, it became a living paint in order to own the bottle. You could say the paint makes thing come to life or something, but idk

New Character Idea:
Tom's Eyebrows. They can be twins. They can be triplets. They aren't there because they live on a neighboring planet in the nefalogian galaxy. One's name is Bob, the other is Carey. If there is a third eyebrow it can be Calliope. If there are two they can be made from two halves of a squishy mustache.

Barrot is PERFECT! Though I love all 3 of them, including the pink panda. Also, just a thought: it may be that the reason you never like the pink item out of your rainbow sets as much is because you always start working in proper rainbow order, with the pink - but you seem to get more inspired the further into the project you go. So the pink items, being always first out of the gate, are probably just suffering from the fact that you're not warmed up yet. (Suffering in your eyes, at least - the rest of us love everything you make!)

The reason why Barrot or Paint booger is so cute is because his nose is high up (close to the eyes) It works for almost any animal, and it makes them look adorable.

Here’s a tip: when using metallic paint, add a base coat beneath. For example, when using gold metallic paint, add yellow paint underneath, and it pops out a lot more. Hope that helped!
