I think adding the brown on Mary's snout would've fixed the issued, since a lot of cows have that. Oh and maybe adding little animal crossing style hooves would've been SO cute! Still love Mary
Also the ears being upturned definitely threw it off. She did move them to the side which looks better fs but if they slanted down I think it would've saved the cow look!

I think a squishy makeover where you show your chronological work process, how you work on multiple squichies simultaneously, what you do during the dryingtime etc. would be very interesting.
You can probably use a lemon zester to help smooth out the foam after you perform scissor-amputations (like the rough patches that were left from removing the pig’s wings, for example)
