    Terrific material! It's hard to overstate how good of an introduction you've provided to the audience! Starting from the very context of the miniatures you're going to present, through the thought process behind your approach, up to the details of the techniques being used. And then, the final result is extremely interesting and steering away from the easy and obvious approach to the topic makes it stand clearly out of the crowd. Splendid!

    • @mattsminiprob

      Wow! That is so incredibly kind of you! I was concerned I went overboard with the introduction and spent too much time talking so your comment is very much appreciated!

    Commander Cody is the goat. I really like this video I always wanted to get into painting miniatures, but it always seemed like a daunting task especially for someone not artistically inclined. Your video tho makes it seem so simple, the step by step is really helpful, thank you!

    This is a cool tutorial, though if i was painting some Storm/Clonetroopers, I'd probably just drybrush/stiple on some light greys, off-whites/tans, apply a wash, then do some finally highlights and paint in the other details, maybe not the most elegant way to paint a mini but it usually gets the job down for me

    • @mattsminiprob
      @mattsminiprob  Год назад +1

      That has been my standard approach to white (I have another video on how I traditionally do white armor). My goal with this paint job was to look at different ways to paint white armor rather than the best way. This method wouldn't look good if you wanted a flat, shiny white, but I think adds some interesting wrinkles into painting white
