I do agree that even as a kid, Ben 10 beats Homelander, We find out about so many features the Omnitrix technically had in Classic that never got shown. But if we're talking ONLY things we saw in Classic? No UAF/OV aliens, no failsafes, no nothing? I'm not so sure. Way Big is the only one who could do it imo, and that's if we highball Way Big and lowball Homelander. Way Big's strength is far too inconsistent to be sure. Blunt force trauma is effective on anyone, supposing the one exerting the force is strong enough. It's why Butcher carries a Crowbar instead of a Sword. Maeve was strong enough and the straw had just enough strength not to fold in on itself, and pass the energy onto the surface of Homie's ear drum.
One thing to note, Vought didnt have any sort of military contract when Stilwell made her claim, theres no way certain levels or tiers of weaponry (nukes included) wouldnt have been viable to be tested on him, she was gassing him up to get those contracts.
The problem with Homelander is he underestimates his opponents and doesn’t bother to learn to fight well. Proof: in the first fight against Soldier Boy he tries to hit him, but only succeeds in missing and denting a wall, the force too punch through a wall is (4ish newtons) lower then the force to punch through a person (180k newtons) (which Homelander has done). Using his super speed and full strength he should have easily landed a powerful hit
I feel like Homelander was nerfed slightly as his super speed has kind of been forgotten. He managed to grab Butcher and a Baby and get them out of the blast zone of a house right as the explosive went off seemingly with no difficulty. He doesn't really use this level of speed again after this.

This is the problem with people having so many eyes on Homelander and The Boys. We have seen enough, read enough, and hurt enough to calculate pretty precisely how strong and durable he is because the show and comics absolutely won't stop telling us about it. Hancock's powers are less specific and therefore less thought was put into them and that gives us less material to work with in terms of figuring out his actual strength. He basically has a modgepodge of unspecific powers, kind of like Dr Doom in Fan4stic except done well.
I dont think homelander can directly tank the blast of a nuke, I think he could redirect it and thats why they thought it wouldnt be effective. We've seen things at a much lower level damage him. Also Stillwell was likely being exaggerative based on the context of the conversation.
Also the fact Hancock can't be hurt at all unless he's close or near the one he was with since creation. Homelander has no chance be just like Omni Man situation. Even if u try to use statment about every weapon not working on him it could be seen as him just doging these weapons because it never stated how he survived these a weapon not working doesn't mean he tanked it just could've doged it as it would still make them ineffective also him tanking nukes doesn't add up to all his other feats and not consistent

Also saying they nuked Homelander is a massive high-ball. At best they could have done some low power nuclear weapons and dismissed them as tests but like The Boys universe has a reasonably realistic social and governmental setting, they absolutely haven't tested any super powerful nukes on him. Considering Maeve can give him a nosebleed, it's doubtful he can just casually tank nukes. If he could that would imply she was punching with an equal or stronger force than a nuclear bomb and that would have caused at least some crazy shockwaves.

Tbf it’s highly implied Hancock was unironically Zeus in ancient times so it makes sense he’d be the stronger one
One thing to note, Vought didnt have any sort of military contract when Stilwell made her claim, theres no way certain levels or tiers of weaponry (nukes included) wouldnt have been viable to be tested on him, she was gassing him up to get those contracts.

The problem with Homelander is he underestimates his opponents and doesn’t bother to learn to fight well.
Proof: in the first fight against Soldier Boy he tries to hit him, but only succeeds in missing and denting a wall, the force too punch through a wall is (4ish newtons) lower then the force to punch through a person (180k newtons) (which Homelander has done). Using his super speed and full strength he should have easily landed a powerful hit

I feel like Homelander was nerfed slightly as his super speed has kind of been forgotten. He managed to grab Butcher and a Baby and get them out of the blast zone of a house right as the explosive went off seemingly with no difficulty. He doesn't really use this level of speed again after this.

Remember people: Hancock is an angel (or some sort of divine like being) millennia old. Casually tossed a 40 ton whale over a mile out to sea. HL in the show has slightly better strength than Captain America in Civil War but with eye lasers and flight and is just upset all the time.

It can mean numerous things from him tanking a nuke, to being able to outspeed the explosion and or fall out etc. After all dude has insane hearing. He is going to notice a ICBM hurdling toward his location and more than capable of moving out of its range in any direction as well as detonating it with things like laser vision well before it gets close enough to harm him.
Also while I agree on the overall outcome you're either vastly underselling Homelander or over selling Hancock. The gap is not that massive.
This is the problem with people having so many eyes on Homelander and The Boys.
We have seen enough, read enough, and hurt enough to calculate pretty precisely how strong and durable he is because the show and comics absolutely won't stop telling us about it.
Hancock's powers are less specific and therefore less thought was put into them and that gives us less material to work with in terms of figuring out his actual strength.
He basically has a modgepodge of unspecific powers, kind of like Dr Doom in Fan4stic except done well.

I dont think homelander can directly tank the blast of a nuke, I think he could redirect it and thats why they thought it wouldnt be effective. We've seen things at a much lower level damage him. Also Stillwell was likely being exaggerative based on the context of the conversation.

Homelander is extraordinary from a human perspective, however he pales in comparison to the might of alien warriors from other universes such as Invincible, DC and Marvel. Hancock is a god, he is quite possibly invincible and his wife is his only known weakness, perhaps he can be hurt by a stronger member of his own kind, but that was never explored.
