      Thanks for watching my video king! On my V6, I have two catalytic converters, one for each of the exhaust pipes. To check it, get under the car and look for the fat part of the exhaust pipe. You may like my other videos. Just type Lsailor1 in the RUclips search bar. Best, The Sailor.

    the rear sensor you show is post catalytic converter in pic.i think you need to change rear sensor which is before catalytic converter.

    so is bank 2 sensor 1 the sensor that under the Hood in the manifold right there in front

      +Pamela Edwards Thanks for watching my video Pamela! The one in the front has a short harness. The other one has a long harness. The one in the front is BEFORE the catalytic converter. That is how you buy them. It is either before or after the catalytic converter. Recommend you remove them and bring them into a parts store to get an exact replacement. You may like my other videos. Hey man nice and detail video. Seen the information you detailed in the beginning and sounds so similar to my problem im having. I just bout the 2008 hyuandai sonata v6 3.3l about a month from today which is 08/04/2017. Before I bout the car, I notice a oil leak from which that was the only noticeable problem I seen but the car drove smooth, fast, and the mpg was great, also there was no check engine lights or dummy light on or anything. Took the car to the hyuandai dealership for a pre purchase just to make sure no serious issue before purchase and stating at this time there no issue alarming with no check engine lights or anything other then oil leak. So the result came back with the valves cover gasket, spark plugs, air filter, and filter under the hood and which I told the dealership to take care of the repairs that stated with the car after I purchase the car. I pick the car up the next day after the relates was done after the dealership closed when work was done on the car and notice the check engine light was on, so out of frustration and worrying, I checked with my scanner and came up with code p0151 o2 circuit low voltage (bank 2, sensor 1) and also notice surging/hesitation/ very poor fuel consumption. Took back to the dealer the next day and the service advice turned the key and check engine light went off which was odd. He took the car back to technician to check code but nothing came up which was weird because I got the code p0151 but they sent me on my way and told me if light came back on to bring it back. It been almost a month from when I bought the car 07/06/2017 and light hasn't came back on but still noticing very very poor fuel consumption, poor performance with hesitation, surging, and rough acceleration. Would this be the o2 sensor with bank 2 sensor one because till this day the check engine light hasn't came back on but notice those point. Sorry for the long story but trying to find the culprit rather the throwing money in part of for someone to charge me $100 for diagnostics fees if the check engine light not on. All the light on my dash light up including the engine light when turning the ignition to start the car and all cut off as normal like nothings wrong but notice all the symptoms. Please if you can guide me and let me know something at your earliest convenience...thank you!

      Thanks for watching my video RD! I Would assume that the car probably has in excess of 100,000 miles? If so, it is certainly time to change out ALL the oxygen sensors. For the cost of the sensors, it will certainly cover a diagnostic fee. BTW, if you need a code checked again, just go to Autozone and they will do it for FREE! You may like my other videos. Yes when I bought the car it had 115,282 which wasn't no signs of problem when I test drove it and was getting good mpg, good performance, and running like a champ. It's was after the repairs was done when this problem persistent up till today I put about about 750miles on the car, now having 116,100miles on it. I have a code reader but like I said, the check engine light hasn't came on or anything like that, so just have the symptoms of poor fuel consumption, surging/hesitation acceleration performance, and just makes for a rough ride taking away the pleasure of what attracted me to the car when I first got it

      Buy the way I did check the code on my code reader and it was stored as pending but when I took to o'reillys to check it,nothing came up. So after a few day, I checked again with my code reader and everything checked out and no codes are there now, but still have these symptoms.

      I would start with the oxygen sensors and then I might take a look at other sensors. It could possibly be this:

      Thanks for watching my video VV! I used to live in Germany and I understand your problem. If you are able to work on your own car, you can save a lot of money. Here is a link to how much it costs in America. www.autozone.com/engine-management/oxygen-sensor/bosch-oxygen-sensor/831546_47115_1784_97999 Even with shipping, you can save half. I know how garages work there. If you don't buy the part from them, they won't install it. Do it yourself! You may like my other videos. Just type Lsailor1 in the RUclips search bar. Like them? I understand there are two o2 sensors upstream and two sensors downstream. Where is bank 2 sensor 1 located?

      @Lsailor169699  7 лет назад

      Jon Trillo Wow, that's a long wait! You might try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for about 30 minutes (resets CEL) and if it comes back, change out all the sensors.

    • @Dallas_Tx_Boy214
      @Dallas_Tx_Boy214 7 лет назад

      I'm just guessing if it's not my sensors which I'm sure it is would there be anything else to look for for this code

    • @Lsailor169699
      @Lsailor169699  7 лет назад

      Jon Trillo If you Google the code you will see it is a lean condition caused by the oxygen sensors.
