Very good instructional video. Several thousand miles ago my 2003 Camry (currently has 152,000 on it) was displaying a chk. eng. light. Took it to auto zone & the diagnostic scanner indicated a faulty 0xy sensor. Best I remember they had a special tool they loaned me for changing it out. Does there have to be a problem somewhere else in the engine like a bad injector etc. to cause a sensor to mal-function?
I don’t understand in what tube you sprayed the carb cleaner. Please let me know. Vacuum line? Is it the main vacuum line that spreads out into all engine connections? I don’t know where the one is for 1996 v6 Camry for the car I’m working on.
It is a great video. But I am thinking if you can clean the O2 sensor like that, the catalytic converter should be cleaned as well right? So I don’t have to remove the o2 sensor and spray directly to the catalytic converter.
As a master technician with 45 years experience this is a very insignificant operation he is showing, because I have never replaced an oxygen sensor because of carbon deposits or soot and the first car to have an o2 was 1978/ Volvo with a lamda system, some of these auto technicians are becoming more critical, being that,,the don't totally understand automotive theory and electronics
Well look Mr master technician how about you jump in in make such a intelligent video and show ur 45 years of experience don't just run ur mouth saying this insignificant what I can tell u is where ever that liquid went am pretty sure it did clean something and where ever is carbon accumulated for sure the car will have a better respond in some how in harming it and doing this procedure is better than not doing nothing but what am sure is u harm more running ur mouth like I said again
Of course a ''Master tech'' would say something like this... Takes away buisness they've been overcharging people for. Garage techs are such bandits that prey on people. I work in the industry also, so I know.
he said at the start around 0:35 that an o2 sensor gets dirty if there is a serious problem like a bad fuel injector or spark plugs. so obviously you'd need to resolve that issue and then clean your sensor. I don't see any problem with his video

Can I use throttle body cleaner or MAF sensor cleaner?
Yes this video learned me a thing or 3. NICE!
Glad it was helpful
Do you know which hose I need to remove on a 2014 Lexus GS 350 ??
Very good instructional video. Several thousand miles ago my 2003 Camry (currently has 152,000 on it) was displaying a chk. eng. light. Took it to auto zone & the diagnostic scanner indicated a faulty 0xy sensor. Best I remember they had a special tool they loaned me for changing it out. Does there have to be a problem somewhere else in the engine like a bad injector etc. to cause a sensor to mal-function?
Thanks, whenever the o2 sensor gets dirty, there must be some problems, could be clogged fuel injectors, bad spark plugs or ignition coils
@@AliMECH catalytic converter?
I don’t understand in what tube you sprayed the carb cleaner. Please let me know.
Vacuum line? Is it the main vacuum line that spreads out into all engine connections? I don’t know where the one is for 1996 v6 Camry for the car I’m working on.
Very useful and practical. Thanks, bro...
You are welcome, thanks

Hi, can i use it also on e46 318ti bmw?
Brilliant video simply and accurate information THANK YOU
Thanks for watching
Which vaccum hose you spray it in?
It is a great video. But I am thinking if you can clean the O2 sensor like that, the catalytic converter should be cleaned as well right? So I don’t have to remove the o2 sensor and spray directly to the catalytic converter.
Is it possible to do this on a 2013 corolla? The pcv valve is under the air intake manifold.
Brotha can I do this on my 3.0 d4d diesel Hilux? It's always good to do preventative maintenance right. 👍🏽
Not a good idea to do that with diesel engines, I recommend to remove it and clean it outside the engine
@@AliMECH thanks, Eid Kareem brotha 🤲🏼
Meant to say Ramadan Kareem brotha, I guess I'm just looking forward to Eid ;) Allah Hafiz 🤲🏼
I got ur message, thanks brother
Can this be done for a 2001 E320 Mercedes Benz
I love your channel scribe upload more videos thank u for this information 💖
Thanks, appreciate your feedback
Thankyou very much , it work for my camry v6, all the best to you
Thanks for your feedback
Quality video! Excellent camera views !
Thanks for watching
Wrong wrench used. There is a special one designed for that job.
Is this in a similar location on a 2015 corolla? I don't want to pump carb cleaner down the wrong hose lol!
Great explanation, Thank you!
Thanks for watching
Will it work also for other sensors placed after the dfp?

The carbon is an effect not the cause. It had a bad injector.
Of course a ''Master tech'' would say something like this... Takes away buisness they've been overcharging people for. Garage techs are such bandits that prey on people. I work in the industry also, so I know.
That may be true but this seems to work for some.
he said at the start around 0:35 that an o2 sensor gets dirty if there is a serious problem like a bad fuel injector or spark plugs. so obviously you'd need to resolve that issue and then clean your sensor. I don't see any problem with his video
where did you get the long spray hose for the can?
It came with seafoam cleaner
