- 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R Review - Ford uses the large 37-inch T/A KO2 BFGoodrich All-Terrain Tires mounted on every Raptor R. You won't find that rubber on the Ram TRX or any other factory-made truck nowadays. The big BFG is the same one available on the V-6 Raptor. In fact, with 37 included, the second model has the same 13.1-inch ground clearance and nearly identical suspension setup. The biggest difference is that Ford provided a specially tuned R version and 5 percent stiffer springs to better handle the extra weight of the V-8.

Dealers are marking up V-6 Raptors up to $125K, what will they do with the R variant? Also, Ford is a year out on production of a V-6 Raptor if you order one....I ordered one at the end of March and still don't have a production date...Will they suspend production of the V-6 for the V-8 to keep up with the demand, pushing out V-6 orders even further? I think this will do nothing but muddy the production and be a HUGE money grab for the dealerships that choose to sell over MSRP.

I ordered mine and it’s was confirmed by Ford to me and the dealer by a congratulations your orders is our system! That’s BS Ford told me dealer their not getting Raptor R, Ford isn’t honest and the word means nothing!

@@bottube7336 i get what you mean but honestly on the road it would be hard to distinct from the v6 man. The Trx is just as powerful and much cheaper. I love the look of the Raptor and the v8 is amazing but I would’ve like to see some changes to tell a difference between the two models.
I love that it looks as similar. That way people don't know it's the v8 until I tell them. And the trx is already overpriced for all it's worth. It's a big iffy engine stuffed into a shitty truck
