I love how the review went from a genuine professional review to "I think I wanna jump again, but first I wanna go through this puddle. hehehe". I love it.
When I hear milesperhr channel certain videos come to my mind immediately. This video will definitely be one of them for sure 👌🏼 felt like I was driving on that off-road track. Great one ✨ Definitely a mad machine 🎶
This is one of my favourite videos you have posted. Both the TRX and the Raptor R are incredible trucks and I would have to drive both of them myself to make a decision on which one I like better, it’s difficult to choose because they both complement the other. Thanks for the review Miles.
So my buddy let me drive a Raptor R he got his hands on. Now, being a TRX owner, I’d have to say the Raptor R is ever so slightly quicker. The transmission is super smooth. But so is the TRX’s, while being a fraction slower. But when it comes to build quality, I’m sorry but the Raptor fails almost every aspect. Don’t get me wrong at all, it’s beautiful. But once you’re inside touching and feeling, all I felt was plastic creaking, moving and wiggling. It was super disappointing. I can honestly say that my TRX does not have that. And this has always been an issue of Fords. I was super excited thinking this being their top of the line, TRX brother that they would up their quality and materials but they did not. I would give the Raptor R a 6/10 solely because of the performance and power but boy for their top of the line truck it feels CHEAP.
@@fallenseraph5V I haven’t seen them race. I’m comparing my driving experience. I said it felt slightly quicker, wether it’s because it actually is, maybe the transmission makes it feel that way, or it has more power. Don’t know, but it felt slightly quicker.
Pretty good video review about the new 2023 Ford F-150 RaptoR, it would have been better if you could have added a few shots from outside like the jumps, the puddles that you crossed, and the offroad parts, also that squirrel is amazing that survived from the RaptoR, we can say that 2023 Ford F-150 RapoR is approved by mother nature 😅🤣🤣

I feel like the Ford 6.2 liter V8 SVT Raptor with the Godzilla GT500 supercharger in it, thatll be a good truck itself. That’s what I’ll do in my opinion. The V6 generation Raptors was not at its best and nothing will beat the speed & sound of a V8 Truck.
As always....great content. Have the TRX. Raptor R is scheduled to be built. Agree with your points. Raptor for the ride quality and agility. TRX for the interior quality, sound and price. More exclusivity with the R. Fun times we are living in!
Ride quality? You realize the Bilstein are digressive in Baja which are far better than exponential all the time shocks like Fox? Effectively, Fox is in the in Bilstein street mode all the time and last half as long due to build quality. Not to mention, my TRX pulls 3.6 every 0-60… at half the asking price of a R at dealers. Exclusivity may be your thing, but with people like us who can pay cash for them, it doesn’t make sense. Ford dealers want double what Ram dealers will give you at MSRP and your not getting anything extra except a red R and TRX speed in a smaller, overburdened engine.

TRX for me, both are very fast and big but the TRX's super nice interior compared to plastic door panels and some type of fabric uppers on the doors that are going to get very dirty and hard to clean. The Raptor is very cool but wish the inside was not so cheap looking (for a +/- $111,000 msrp- $150,000 depending on dealer markup). I'm surprised Ford did not try to compete better and step up on the interior
I bought a 2022 TRX and I’ve owned 2 raptors. Ram has just blown ford out of the water in the beefiness and the interior. All the f150s essentially look the same, I wish they did more for the raptor R to make it stand out and be unique
Awesome truck but I prefer the interior from the Trx and there’s many near me for mid 80k (still a lot) but the raptor r prices are 150k plus. Absolutely absurd.
I will say both the TRX and Raptor R are great trucks. BUT, if you care about having a truck that performs superior on and off road with the ability to handle corners and jumps, then the raptor r is the way to go. If you only want a big v8 and a big truck, sure the trx is good too.
But cmon people who actually buy the raps and trxs aren’t really doing what it’s intended for. It’s mostly for showboating and probably just their dream truck
@Renzo Contre Yes, it's true, but that's them. They may not go offroad with their trucks but that fact certainly doesn't nullify the capability of these trucks.... especially the Raptor. Whether or not people use them for their intended purpose changes nothing.
@@richardmodglin3900 totally agree. Raptor r is just better in every aspect in terms of what it’s meant to be used as. But that’s no disrespect to the trx as it is a beast on the streets as well
Anyone looking to jump their Raptor - make sure you're in 2wd (one of my takeaways from Raptor Assault) I guess the drive train in 4wd does not like it when the front and rear are at drastically different speeds (say when one of the truck lands first while the other is still spinning).
I kind of find it funny how the TRX wins in everything not driving or off-road related... But I do get that 99% of these trucks won't see actual high-flying off-road usage. If I could afford one, fuel cost also, I'd get the Raptor for sure.
When you consider the additional equipment packages, the price of TRX and Raptor are on par. I do not own neither, but from my quick research, I feel the TRX are more solid, but slightly less techie, more heavier but a little less advanced suspension. My impression is that the TRX will last longer with fewer issues and noises. I also think that the TRX instrument panel is gorgeous, maybe I'm not a digital instrument guy. Could anyone confirm my impressions? I saw some Raptor with a night vision camera, but others don't have it: is it a factory option? Does the TRX also have any IR night vision camera too? Thank you for any advice.
Yes it does have an IR camera for night time. If we’re looking at MSRP prices and comparing, I’d say they’re on par. But after owning a TRX and looking at a buddies RaptoR. I don’t understand how someone could dish out the 160k+ dealers are charging right now. With that money you could basically buy two used TRX’s with the same technology and slightly more power.
Haven’t seen any other reviewer drive the truck like that. Lots of fun. Good job

Great seeing an "offroad truck" touching some mud and dust. You are worthy of owning the beautiful machine🥶✔️
I will say both the TRX and Raptor R are great trucks. BUT, if you care about having a truck that performs superior on and off road with the ability to handle corners and jumps, then the raptor r is the way to go. If you only want a big v8 and a big truck, sure the trx is good too.
What you say is very true.
But cmon people who actually buy the raps and trxs aren’t really doing what it’s intended for. It’s mostly for showboating and probably just their dream truck
@Renzo Contre
Yes, it's true, but that's them.
But that’s no disrespect to the trx as it is a beast on the streets as well
I know it isn't brand new but that birds eye cam is crazy. We're literally turning the world into a video game.
12:02 Rivian R1T: am I a joke to you
Haaaaa, i love this car so much! Hopefully I could have one of my own in my 30's!
Man I love the trx but I like the ford raptor R more you can tell how light the R is compared to the trx the trx povs you see how heavy it is.
Just a best interior view)))
Enjoyed the driving
You should pov the ram trx mammoth 1000 from Hennessy and if you do good luck
I've been asking! Maybe one day
Anyone looking to jump their Raptor - make sure you're in 2wd (one of my takeaways from Raptor Assault) I guess the drive train in 4wd does not like it when the front and rear are at drastically different speeds (say when one of the truck lands first while the other is still spinning).
Performance 90%. Reliability 5%
What about rest 5 per
Loved this video, really makes me want a raptor r! One question, where did you do the off road portion?
I kind of find it funny how the TRX wins in everything not driving or off-road related... But I do get that 99% of these trucks won't see actual high-flying off-road usage.
If I could afford one, fuel cost also, I'd get the Raptor for sure.
would love to now where in OC you were offroading. Ive got a Raptor myself and would love to hit those trails!
I'm leaning towards the TRX by just a little bit.
