But i would love to see some drives and reviews of some cars that are priced more consumer friendly. You do a great job, and i think a lot of people would appreciate a buyers guide
These days the Escalade is better than a Rolls Royce. Cadillac is finally living up to its name. I’m confused why they made a V version of this car. It’s got a ton of power, and it sounds incredible, but it’s a Cadillac Escalade, it’s a luxury car built for comfort, not performance. It’s not really comparable to the Ram TRX or the Raptor R either, those trucks aren’t made for on road performance, their built for off-roading, with high ground clearance and they come standard with 35inch tires. That’s not what they made the Escalade V for.

This generation of Escalade is IMPRESSIVE!! But I’m not certain slapping a supercharger, stickier tires, and a louder exhaust is worth the extra $30-$40k. And can you imagine dealer markups?! Still, big fan of these ‘Slades, but man $150K is BIG MONEY when you could slide into a Mercedes Benz AMG GLS 63…I dunno…just think about $150K and wiper stalks from a Chevy Sonic. The powertrain clearly was not an afterthought despite how badly you want folks to believe this is nothing special. 😂

My neighbor just bought this thing - as a counterpoint, I guess, to his wife’s AMG 63 G-Wagen with the side exhausts. Both jet black, of course. Needless to say there is a lot of deep, throaty rumbling and poppin’ going on in the cul-de-sac as they ferry their young girls back and forth to school haha!

Pretty insane price for an Escalade. I certainly don’t think it’s worth it but Cadillac will no doubt have no problems selling it
