I believe this only works with the Panasonic Lumix S-series cameras that received a firmware update for it some time after the DJI RS2 came out, and maybe the GH6.
This form of active track only works in concert with the Panasonic camera's subject detection AF. It can only track faces and bodies and it's not very good at it either. What you can do is set up tracking by waypoints in the DJI Ronin app
enable Human/Animal Detect AF on your Panasonic camera if it isn't already enabled, hook the camera up to the gimbal via the USB-C link cable, then use "PC(Tether)" as the USB mode on the camera. Once everything's hooked up you just have to pull the trigger on the gimbal while a subject with tracking box is in frame (face or body). Bear in mind that the tracking will stop once the camera loses face/body AF
@@sambrumley_productions Can you use a smartphone with this in the cradle instead of a camera and use active track through Bluetooth on the DJI Mimo app (similar to how you would use the DJI Osmo 5 (OM5), for example), or does it not have those capabilities?
How did you do it?
that’s so sick
Wow it even works with my G9, but sadly it stops tracking once it's lost the subject
Its connected to phone
Does it works on a gh5?

Can you track objects as well? For a Hyperlapse?

@@sambrumley_productions So not really a substitute for the raven eye,...damn,...
Where do you find how it works, I've searched the forums and it doesn't mention it
I used some of the instructions from a video of this on the DJI RS2: ruclips.net/video/7dM4KbaSN6A/видео.html
@@sambrumley_productions very useful, many thanks
So this is the Pana S5 will it work with the Pana S5M2 as well?
It's supposed to work for the Mark 2 as well
@@infernoflo Yes is does and works very well just wish the Bluetooth would work.
It’s stupid that it only works with the Panasonic and not any other camera brand

@@sambrumley_productions Can you do this with a Sony A7IV?
Can this also be done with the Sony A7c?
I believe this only works with certain Panasonic cameras for now
