Me too he did a great job in showing the details exactly how to ❤
Thank you sooooooooo much for all your help. I finally got my R6 balanced. One thing I noticed is that my camera slightly spin on the quick release plate it doesn't get completely tight. However you help me out but getting started. Many Blessings!
You're welcome, I'm glad the video was able to help a bit! 👍If you make sure the little lip of the quick release plate is flush with the front of the camera and then finger tighten as tight as you possibly can, it should help keep it in place.
Your video really saved me. I was stuck in balancing my DJI rs 3 gimbal for moment I thought something was wrong with my gimbal but it was just wrong balancing method I am approaching. Thanks a lot 🙏🙏
You're very welcome, I'm glad it was able to help! 👍
thank you so much man! Appreciate how you didnt know if the ef-rf lens would work and you experimented with us haha
Lol, no problem! I thought about re-recording it once I knew it would balance but decided to leave it as is!!

You’re welcome! 👍
Thanks for the video! I’m curious because I’m looking to buy a rs3 mini… do you think I could fly a R5 with a sigma 24-70 vertical?
It may be possible but you'd probably be maxing out the payload. The RS3 Mini is capable of flying the R5 and an RF 24-70mm but with the Sigma you have to add in the adapter. I can barely get my R6 with the Sigma 18-35mm to balance properly just because of the weight and it being front heavy with the adapter added in.
The balance is tricky for sure. I just bought mine and holy moly did it test my patience.
Is it at all possible to be able to have a camera on a gimbal with a rode mic on top? I’ve not managed to be able to do both 😕
Hello, yes the balancing will test anybody’s patience at first but the more you do it the quicker and easier it becomes. It is possible to balance the camera with a Rode mic on top, you just have to put the mic on and then follow the same balancing steps.
Hello from Norway ! Can I balance R6 with EF 16-35 f2.8 ii both Landscape and verticle ?
Yes, you should be able to balance it. It will be a pretty heavy load but should work in both landscape and vertical.
thank you for the video :-) . Is it fully compatible the dji rs 3 mini with the Canon r7? Aperture, Shutter, ISO?
No, you cannot control Aperture, Shutter or ISO with the R7...you can basically start and stop recording.
@@ScooterMediaVideos are you satisfied with this gimbal or do you suggest a more expensive model ? I own the Canon R7. thank you for your time
@@TeaTimeCreations yes, I am satisfied with it, but I also own the Ronin S for heavier payloads. I think the RS3 Mini is great for the R7 and smaller cameras. I am in the process of doing a review on it now and one thing I mention in the review is that because it is so light and a setup like the R7 and kit lens is so light, I definitely notice more of the up and down motion when walking. You have to really master the "ninja walk" to get it nice and smooth...but I think that is just due to the difference in weight, a heavier setup will always be smoother that a lighter setup. Other than that I think it's great!
helpful! but on the left side, lighting too dark and hard to see. right side the gimbal and camera out of focus
I used to have mine balanced but now I can’t seem to get it? On vertical I make micro adjustments but if I push the camera it just falls
Yes, it can be very frustrating, however the more you do it the easier it gets.
The way you taught this subject was great. Other tutorials frustrated me and in my opinion you should consider creating course programs
Thank you, I appreciate that! 👍
Can this model using the plate that come with rsc2 ?
I'm not sure, I have never used the rsc2.
@@ScooterMediaVideos oh alright , thanks.
Does it have to be power on before balancing it or after
You do all of the balancing with the power off and then turn it on to calibrate.
i want to buy a gimbal. but i'm very confused which one to buy for my Canon eos 80D + 50mm prime lens.Between weebill-s & Dji Rs3 mini . i make shorts & cinematic vlog video ...please help me . which one i'll buy? or any other travel gimbal option in this budget .
I don't have any experience with weebill products so I can't really speak about them, however I have been using DJI gimbals since the Ronin S came out and they are great products. I would probably recommend the RS3 Mini for your setup, the 80D is on the compatibility list so should work well with the gimbal. You can also shoot vertically with it to do your shorts too. I do a review video on the DJI RS3 Mini here on the channel.
@@ScooterMediaVideos many youtuber told me that Eos 80D is not in compatibility list of DJI RS3 Mini. is it true?
@@Randomguy-gu3tj I saw it on a compatability list today before I replied to you but have just checked the official DJI website and it doesn't appear to be on the list, my mistake.
@@ScooterMediaVideos bro rsc2 is good for travel gimbal?
@@Randomguy-gu3tj I have never used the rsc2 so not sure how big it is but any of the dji gimbals will work great.
I’ve been desperately trying to balance my Canon R6/50mm RF lens to no avail and it’s about to make me say screw this and return the damn device 😑
The balancing of any gimbal can be a frustrating task, specially if it’s not something you’re used to. Don’t give up yet, try and get it as close to balanced as you can and then try it out. It will get easier with time and experience. 👍
I can’t do it!! Been here 2 hrs
It can be very difficult and frustrating at the beginning but the more you do it, the easier it gets.
