- So many of you watched my No Buy Year Video back in 2021, I still have to pinch myself at how many of you watched it! - But today I wanted to invite you to join me in a little no buy month challenge that I'm calling No Spend September!
No Buy Tips Video: • Tips to Survive A No B...
Doing a no buy challenge or a no spend challenge isn't easy, and I don't recommend as a permanent lifestyle, but it certainly has its benefits.
Over the last few years, I've come to the realisation that whilst a certain level of material things do add to your life, more stuff will not necessarily make you happier. This realisation hit me when I looked around my home that was filled with stuff (so much so I felt I needed a bigger house) and couldn't say I was particularly happier than when I lived in Spain (in 2008) when everything I had with me fit in one large drawer and a very small wardrobe.
These days I prefer to adopt a buy less, buy better approach, with a focus on quality over quantity, removing the clutter, and utilising my money in the best way possible.

Can’t lie, I’m ready for autumn and less sticky days! (Well maybe not the energy bills 😩…ok summer can stay)
I'm in the southern hemisphere im ready for spring so sick of cold winter, its storming outside. Hihi from south africa
I’m over the cold mornings! Bring on spring 🌼
Same here Kirsty, looking forward to September my beloved month :)
Hi, Kristy
I would love to hear update on how did your” no spend September” go?😊
@@peppiR hi there, there won’t really be an update video as not much to say really. I did manage to buy nothing but the basics throughout September, one or two times I was tempted but mainly as I have been in genuine need of some new clothes for the colder weather. I did have a little shop for some bits on October 1st!
I’m reducing my hours at work from September to try and help with work life balance but it will mean tightening my purse strings, so count me in!
Oh I love this Lisa! Since I’ve found myself unemployed I’ve been wondering if I could take on a less stressful career in my next role, it can only be a consideration now I buy less. Life passes by so quickly, and we spend so much of it at work! Good luck! Xx
Yes me too 😀 I’m going to be working 4 days come September.
Oh my Lisa! I am so excited for you. Prioritizing work life balance can bring so much joy in your life. Hope you have a successful no spend September 2022. I hope this gives you the confidence you need to make more room in your life for the fun things and people that bring you joy.
Great idea, I will definitely be taking part! Good luck 🤞🏾
Good luck to you too! X
Your makeup looks so good in this. Your style is timeless!
Thanks so much for the compliment Hannah!
What good timing! I recently heard about someone who did a no-buy July, and even though I couldn’t come up with a cute rhyming name, I decided to do one in September. I’ve already stopped a couple of purchases by reminding myself that I really didn’t “need” the items. Fall clothes and home decor are very tempting this time of year because we desire change. My rule (like yours): Only buy if it’s absolutely a needed item that I do not already have. I’m also going through my pantry and freezer and using that food in meals before going to the grocery store again. Why: Just want to use our resources more wisely, be less wasteful, reduce clutter, and save more money for the emergency fund.
Yes I think No Buy July has gained some popularity recently - I did a No Buy Year some time ago, I have some videos about it if that would be of interest as I only referred to a tiny part of my No Buy rules in this particular video. Sounds like you are well on track - Good Luck!
Hi Kirsty, I was already planning on a no spend September and then saw your video pop up! Mine is for a reset post summer hols (having the kids at home, holiday etc has meant spending quite a bit of money!) I think September is a great month for a no spend as it helps get some extra money together before Xmas x
So many of my friends are looking forward to school starting again as having the little ones at home is so costly! Good Luck! x
I’m in need of this… the summer holidays have been horribly expensive! Will definitely be joining in Kirsty - thank you! Good luck everyone! We can do this! 😊
Oh yes, some of my friends will be happy when their children go back to school if you know what I mean! Good luck Louise! Xx
I'm in too. Great idea! I had a similar experience - a no spend year with only food aloud + 20 other items (things I really needed, written on a limited list, during that year). I'll do this again, but with a five items list. I know this will be lots of fun and working with myself.
Welcome to the no spend September challenge 😊 x
I am in 😍😍 I was looking for motivation to start this challenge thank you
I am so happy the autumn is coming🍁☕️Im not a summer person at all😂I shall join you in this challenge😀
I think autumn is one of my favourite seasons, the colours are just so beautiful. Great to hear you are joining! X
Great idea Kirsty, count me in !!!! I’ve spent quite a bit on extras over summer so it’ll do no harm to reign things in this next month. I’ve a girls weekend away to save for in November and then it’ll be Christmas before we know it.
A great way to save before the winter for sure! It creeps up on us fast! X
After watching some of your videos I was planning to do it myself in September. I'm happy to be part of this bigger challenge
That’s great Stephanie - great minds must think alike 😉 Good luck!
I’m in!! Looking forward to some encouragement videos for this during the month! 🥰Thank you, Kirsty!
Brilliant! Good Luck xx
@@KirstyKirby I’ve tried these no spend months in the past and was not terribly successful. Thank you for the video looking forward to the next one! Hope it’s cooled off for you there…
@@miamitchell2565 it was really warm today but you can feel the cooler weather moving in in the evenings for sure. It won’t be long before I’m moaning about the cold 🥶😂
Definitely giving this a go! Here are my rules…
I can buy petrol (to get to work) food (to stay alive so I can go to work) mortgage (so I can continue to have somewhere to sleep to have the energy to work) 🤣 I’m not expecting to use up the 7 bottles of shower gel I counted today, so won’t need anymore of those. In fact, those 7 bottles are just one example of why a no buy will be so beneficial.
Thanks again for the tips Kirsty :)
Oh I remember the days of counting everything I had and finding 7 shower gels! It’s so easy to fall into ‘oh that’s a good deal/smells nice, I’ll pick that up’ - and all of a sudden you have enough for an entire year 😂
I think being able to work and not be homeless are perfectly acceptable rules 🤣 Good luck!
I'm going to do a no-buy November starting now. lol! I've noticed that I online shop (not necessarily purchase) when I am tired to self-soothe. It just leads to me feeling unfulfilled. I want to connect more with with gratitude with what I have. Thank you for your videos!
No buy November - love it! Will be great to save a little with December usually being so spendy!
Great videos Kirsty , they have helped outline a few things , amazing thank you .
Thanks for watching!
I'm in! Will be challenging with my 4-year-old who always wants new things or treats, and he is my weakness. But I'll do my best! 💪
Ahhh bless you, it can give us so much pleasure to treat the little ones so I do understand. Most of the time they just love to spend time together though. I never remember many of the toys I was bought, but I remember the trips to the park and so on 😊
I’ll join you Kirsty although we are away to Scotland for an already booked holiday so will have to discount those days.
I think that’s fair enough, we all have different lives and commitments so I think being able to set our own rules and boundaries means a no buy period is more realistic 😊
This is such a brilliant idea, I am in! Good luck to eveyone🤞🏻
Brilliant! Good luck!
This was already on my plan (for Sept- oct), so can't wait for this!!
Great stuff, good luck!
Awesome idea! I am in 👍👍👍
Good luck!
I'm with you in this challenge.
Good luck!
Am in!! I would like to increase my savings after all the summer spending and to really just challenge myself to either use or use up what I already have. I have a trip coming up soon too, so any shopping will be specific to a list after checking what I already have. Thanks Kirsty.
I don’t think you are alone, a fair few people in the comments said summer had been a little more costly than planned. Great to have you joining in 😊
Yes, I’ll join you on the no buy September from Boston.🙂
Great stuff, Good luck Joan! X
I am pursuing an intentional low buy year and it does wonders to creativity and using a lot of things we have much more - significantly decreasing the cost of wear/use of the items already purchased :) Thanks a lot for inspiration.
It really does! I found that I often had as much joy rediscovered something I already had as I used to when buying new. Cost per wear is also a brilliant side benefit, I've been wearing items I bought years ago and they're lovely, no idea why I kept feeling I needed other things before! Thanks so much for watching Magdalena x
I’m in too! 🤞🏼
Good luck!
What a great idea!!....I'm in....... subbed 🙂
Great stuff!
Definitely up for the no buy.
Good luck Sue!
I’m with you on this, I’ll join your September Club!
Good luck! X
I have always wanted to do one, so I am going to try it this month. I am trying to prioritize saving and debt reduction right now and have kids going to daycare starting this month which is a massive expense so I think some recentering will help. Thanks for the content.
Great to have you joining in Kelsey 😊
What a lovely idea! I’m in, except… I’ll be buying a flight ticket for my next trip, but I already saved up for it 😊. I’m already on a no buy year for skincare and cosmetics, I’ll add entertainment and dining out for September.
Great to hear you are going to join in Dominique! Xx
I’m all set to change my bad habits. Hoping this will kick start a new mindset!
Good luck Caroline!
I will join this challange, what a great idea! i'm trying to save money so i can one day buy a house, my biggest downfall at the moment is buying fast food whilst at work which is basically just throwing my money away, also buying clothes, hopefully that will now stop because i am beginning this challange :)
Oh yes that can be a terrible drain on finances and I know from experience just how easy it is to fall into when at work. Good luck with no spend September! X
I am going to give this a go-to mainly use up what I have at home- Good luck everyone.
Its a great way to use stuff up and be mindful of what we already have! Good luck
Wonderful idea!! I’m joining the club:)
Good luck! X
I'm joining in too 🙂
Good luck!
I have recently purchased my home and I have started to refurbish , at present both my mind and my finances are running away with me, I really need to take a step back and re think. This will be the perfect timing for me to do a No or low by month. I am going on a mini ( but much needed ) holiday right at the end of September . So will start this from the 27 August through to the 27 September the first day of the holiday . It will do my good mentally and emotionally to slow down on the house refurb for a months break . Brilliant timing for me , thank you so much for suggesting this .
Hi Judi, firstly congrats on your new home! I always think it can be good to pause with renovations as often we have all these ideas, our creative juices are flowing, but then we find that idea we were so invested in probably wasn't all that practical a few months later (or at least that's been my experience!) Good Luck! x
Thank you Kirsty for your reply . I really think everything was running away we me at present, including , ideas , finances , well being . It’s a brilliant way for me to calm everything down again . Looking forward to the challenge now, thank you so much for suggesting we join you in this no buy month of September . Regards Judi
Oh I'm definitely on board too! So glad I got on this now. Kinda lost myself this past year. 😕
Brilliant! It’s easy done, good time for a new start 😊
@@KirstyKirby I'm excited in a way. I haven't done a no buy for a while. Hope I can save something. 🙏
i genuinely feel horrible for spending 300 odd on a "new" second hand switch that ive been wanting for years now because you just reminded me that i NEED a place called home a house more... i will DEFFINITELY partake!!! and ill get my partner on board too!!!
Oh don’t feel too bad. There’s nothing wrong with buying things that bring us value, especially when we have thought long and hard about it and saved for it. Good luck with no spend September! X
I just did a no buy August and it was challenging but I didn't buy anything so far.I have a wishlist currently but will check it at the end of the month to see what is items I really need or what is wants.Good luck everyone for your no buy September💕
That’s good going Eleanor! I found the beginning of any of the no buy periods I’ve done in the past the hardest, it sort of comes a bit more second nature over time. Wish list is a great idea, I’d bet money that by the end of the month you decide that you don’t want/need some of the items. Good luck with keeping with it for one more week 😊 xx
I’m in!! 😁😁
Good luck Sarena!
Will be joining for 25 days (have a 5 day holiday booked). My aim is to have the same amount in my holiday spending fund at the end of the month (post holiday) as at the beginning (pre holiday) 🙂🙂
Hi Georgie, that sounds like a great plan - holidays can cause such a dent in our accounts so I love the idea of using a no buy to mean the bank doesnt take a hit! Good Luck!
I’ve said I’ll do this but the reason is I want to increase my emergency fund and also save as I need to necessary home improvements in the not to distant future. x
Home improvements is a fab reason 😊 Often we will get such bigger, longer lasting value from things like that than impulse buying clothes/nik naks/etc. x
Yes i need to do a No Spend month, with the hike in energy prices and food i need to reduce my outgoings as much as possible.. Good luck to everyone.
It’s crazy isn’t it? I have a reasonable emergency fund but am being cautious myself with outgoings. Glad you are joining and good luck! X
I'm giving it a go 🙂
Good luck Jo!
I’ll join for a no buy clothing, makeup or craft supplies September. I need to buy some things for around the house that I’ve been saving up for. I was inspired by your other video to do a no buy March this year :)
Ah that’s fab Kim, I’m assuming the one in March was successful. Good luck with the saving in September, great to see you joining in! X
@@KirstyKirby Yes it was ☺️ I continued with a low buy April and May.
I'm joining!
Good luck!
I need to give this a go. My regular expenses have gone up so much that I don't have that much spare cash anyway.
I feel your pain, I’m not happy at my basic expenses rising even when I’m being careful. Good luck!
I live in California and with inflation, outrageous gas prices and rent going up, I’ve literally had no choice but to be on a no buy for the 5 months. I haven’t missed much and I’m selling whatever I can just to have some extra cash for just in case. While things are hard now, 2023 will be incredibly difficult. People need to live in reality that the next 10 years are going to be hard.
I agree it’s going to be choppy waters for a while. I’ve pretty much been on an unintended no buy / low buy for a while as I have concerns about the next year or so. As you say, often when you do it, you don’t actually miss that much, hopefully by inspiring people to give this a go, they will realise it too and be able to navigate through this next period a little easier.
Sounds good, I’m in.
Good luck! 😊
Thanks, looking forward to the new challenge. Just completed the debt free journey.
@@financialmemos5186 that’s brilliant! Congrats!
I need this badly as I have been "rewarding" myself over the past 4 months since I had a long haul trip planned but due to all the travel chaos it was cancelled. I started nesting to make myself feel better and really did not need 1/2 or even 3/4 of what I bought. Plus, I must have 5 unopened bottles of body wash sitting in a cupboard because they smell nice!
Oh bless you, it’s always disappointing when plans we’ve been looking forward to are cancelled. You definitely don’t need any more body wash 😂 I find they take so much longer to use than we think too - I was always so tempted to stock up in the past, but then they would take the best part of a year to get through 🤦♀️😂 Good luck with No spend September! X
Count me in! I want to increase my emergency fund and want to have extra for the energy price rises. I already tried a no buy year for magazines this year and lasted until August but I only bought one and have now rejoined my local library ( a mere £2) so will restart my no buy magazines with the September no buy. Oxfam are also doing a second hand September challenge for those who still want/need to buy clothes.
Oh I didn't know about the Oxfam challenge, interesting. Good luck with no spend September Pauline!
I'm going to give this a go. I'm not doing the whole family. With 2 teenagers they will report me to granny. if they don't get a few treats. But I'm definitely going to try it. Good Luck everyone.
Good luck Kirsty! X
Joining!
Good luck!
I'm joining! I find USA vlogs a bit too unreal for me eg how cheap everything esp houses is over there, and how different the lifestyle is, this will help me so much. I have a hoarding problem (mental health issue) and i want to stop buying things. Any non-thing, eg massage, food, but not things. And not much food (eg bread, veg, fruit, but not tins of soup. Not stuff you can hoard).
Good luck Rose x
Hi Kirsty, great idea, I'm absolutely in. In fact, I have been toying with the idea of making the project a year long as I want to pay off as much of my mortgage as possible next December when the fixed term ends on it. I definitely have , at least low level, shopping addiction and would love some more advice on how to stop shopping and get over the feeling of fomo! any advice would be gratefully received.....
Hi Christine, have you seen some of my other videos related to no buys and stopping shopping? There might be some useful information in those for you x
Count me in! I have a couple exceptions but I’ll make sure to write those down beforehand 🍁🍂
Thats great! Good luck!
Hi Kirsty will definitely be doing the no spend September 😊 with energy prices out of control I'll be trying not to use my electric oven as this uses more energy. Instead I'll be investing in an airfryer this month, apparently it cooks food faster takes less energy, ive seen this on utube on how to save energy tips this winter 😊
Yes they’re really good, my mum swears by hers. I’ll have a video on preparing for winter hopefully up this week too x
@@KirstyKirby that would be great x
I’m in! 🙋♀️
Good luck!
Haha, so true, and totally me, I tend to overspend on no spend months! But, I know myself now, and will give it a go again. To be fair, I have been on a low spend for years anyway, and I have done very well, I am debt free now, except for my mortgage. My rules is, 1 I need a haircut, and 2, I have to do my expensive dry eyes treatment. But I am all set with dog and cat food, dont need anything but food and paying my bills. I´m in! 👍
How wonderful to be debt and mortgage free! Good luck with no spend September! x
@@KirstyKirby Thanks, but unfortunately I still have a mortgage.. ☺️
@@ibislife Oh my apologies, I must have read that wrong!
Hi Kirsty
Thankfully I’m on a fixed tariff and doesn’t run out until the end of January
All that stuff I bought the other day…..has been sent back!!
My daughter getting married next Saturday so do need to buy some shoes and bag.
I did read the other day about boiler temperatures apparently when there serviced they leave the temperature whack up high
I checked mine and it was for heating and water!!
I’ve lowered it down to 50 degrees!
Ahh bless you, better to send it back and have the money back if you realised you don’t / want need it 😊
Oh and congrats to your daughter I hope you all have a fabulous day!
@@KirstyKirby thank you 😊
I’m in since I have been so bad in August.
Oh bless you, at least you’ve recognised the spending has been a little more than you’re happy with! Good luck! Xx
I decided to do this because I want to have a healthy relationship with money and work. I don’t want to pick up an extra shift to fill in the gap for all the money I spent and all the things I still NEED to pay for. I also realize that each time I go to a thrift store, I have a lot of things I want but not necessarily what I need. When I actually need something, I don’t usually go to a thrift store because when I need it, I really need it and don’t have time to shop around extensively for it. I also want to have healthier coping habits/mechanisms and be more adventurous. Shopping is not very adventurous. The reward is something that may end up in a bag and go back to where you got it from anyway. It took me quite some time, but I realize how silly that concept is now. I also want to get healthier and lose a little bit of weight, which can be obtained through making smarter food choices along with spending time I would shop on exercise instead, even just taking a walk with the kids, Instead of going to a store, the park. I don’t want to look back and remember the things I bought, I want to remember the things I did and I know that saving money for doing amazing things or saving money to spare us stress and picking up extra shifts when things get even higher in price will be far more worthwhile
Hi Ashlynn, sorry it's taken me a little while to reply. I think being able to find a better work life balance that works for you is a really worthy goal. I've recently been wondering if I could consider a slightly less stressful (and possibly lower paid) role to improve my life, yet it would not even be something I could have considered if I had stayed on the path of shopping all the time. It's also so true that older folks reminisce about the places they spent time in, and the people they spent it with, rarely the things they bought. Good luck! xx
Oh yes I’ll join to learn some discipline!
Good luck!
totally interested.
Good luck if you decide to give it a go!
Oh I'm definitely on board,
I am in. I need to increase my emergency fund. It will give me encouragement
Good luck Belinda. I’m a big fan of emergency funds so I think that’s a fab reason 😊
I will join you!
Hurrah - good luck!
Ooh I’m going to try this for sure! I did save money on trips and convention for next month though so do I count that in my no buy?
Hi Saren, I think if you look through the comments, a few people have added caveats to their no buys. Hope that helps x
I'll take part in this. This will be hard, because I'm going on a knittingcamp and they sell there yarns. But I don't need anymore yarns 🙄. I think I'm going to sell/giveaway some craft supplies too in September too.
Good luck! Just keep reminding yourself how many beautiful yarns you have at home that you haven’t yet used. I found I ended up getting as much joy out of using things I already had as I used to shopping or buying new over time 😊
@@KirstyKirby that is so true 👍🏻

Hi Kirsty. I slipped a bought a $2.75 drink I didn’t really need. I appreciated that it made me think about what I purchase, when and why. I think as a slip this was a harmless one. I’m still doing ok overall. Thank you!
I willl join you!
Brilliant - good luck!
I am planning on doing a no buy month in September simply because I have everything I need. My finances are different as I'm on benefits and have special needs and my sister sorts out bills etc. Our mum passed away in May and I'm trying to learn how to save as I'll end up living on my own at some point. I normally get £100 to spend every month but I will try and spend only £25/£30 so I can hang out with friends, I have to travel to the city.
I will also hope to continue the no buy until the end of the year or the end of January.
I'm so sorry to hear of your mums passing Emma, my sincere condolences.
I try this almost every month but it never works for me, maybe this is a sign to do it really in september. I don’t need all those new makeup releases so I will join 😊
Oh I bet you have lots of beautiful makeup already! See it as an opportunity to rediscover and play with what you have 😊 Good luck!
I am taking challenge. Sending two kids to university and need to save!
Oh yes that's very expensive all round! Good luck!
I’ve just got a slow cooker to buy oh n some bamboo blinds etc etc then I’ll stop shopping, promise
Ha ha don’t worry a no spend month isn’t a necessity, it’s not for everyone and sometimes there are things that we need 😊
@@KirstyKirby I do bone broth for myself n dogs. To do it to the point that it gelatinises it needs to be cooked for 12 hours. In the slow cooker it’s 3 hours The bamboo blinds are for the little guest house that I plan to rent out so……. Good job on your RUclips output. New subscriber.
I’m in
Good luck!
This seems like such a good idea to prove to ourselves that we just don't need half the crap we buying. Nor sure how to incorporate it with Mt youngest 2nd birthday falling on 27th? Wonder if I can make her birthday one of the rules somehow? 🤔
This was one of my biggest eye openers when I went from ‘actively (and aggressively) saving’ to a no buy. I found I must have been buying all sorts of nonsense I couldn’t even pinpoint, random impulse buys that was adding up a lot, especially over time.
I think it would be perfectly acceptable to do a no buy period up until that point or just give yourself freedom for that particular day - they’re teeny for such a short time, only natural you want to do something for her birthday 😊
Buy some gift cards now in august ❤️ 🤣 I did this for my 4 year olds birthday so I stayed within my budget! 🥳 feels good knowing his birthday and gifts are already “paid” for in advance too.
Would you make a video how how to ensure that No Spend Sept doesn't turn into Overspend October? I'd like to try but I feel like I'd just be delaying purchases
Oooh this is actually a good idea. I’ll give it some thought and see what I can come up with.
Seriously though if you think restrictions might make you go wild after (and therefore spend more than you would have done naturally) then you don’t need to do it, there’s loads of ways to save or identify our shopping habits. 😊
@@KirstyKirby not necessarily go wild, but for example my kid needs new underwear & socks... I don't see that changing in a month 😄
@@racheltheshadesoforange8700 oh I see what you mean. I think you could make those things part of your accepted expenditure ‘rules’ no problem as they are more of a need than a want! Kids are so selfish, they keep on growing! 😉 xx
@@KirstyKirby hahaha SO selfish 🤣. Thanks for the reply.... love your channel
my view is, there are things you binge, and things that don't tempt you. Eg the famous 'potatoes are as bad as cakes' - but which do people stuff their faces with? Precisely, they binge chocolate, not baked potatoes. You can't even eat two! Who binges household cleaning products? Me, because i hoard useful things. Ditto tinned soup. So, has to go on the no-buy.
I must buy a new bra, but I will join you, I will get it before the month ends.
Those are a necessity for sure 😊
I want to join you. Add to my retirement fund plus I need the change of spending to much with eating out,
Good Luck Pamela - yes the cost of eating out can really add up.
Cannot join for September,as going on vacation for 2 weeks,so totally unrealistic BUT considering No-Buy October!
I’ll be rooting for you if you do!
For me this is going to be no buy year as prices of everything scyrocket
I did a no buy year in the past - but yes I know what you mean. Tough times ahead.
I just did a 3-month makeup No Buy (June-August) so today (September 1st) I bought myself a nice lipstick 😂
Oh dear.
@@KirstyKirby It's okay! It's the first lipstick I've bought for almost a year, and I've been thinking about buying it since it came out (also almost a year ago).
I think I’ll join you!
Great stuff! Good luck!
My why is Christmas! I’m a single dad to three who are getting older and wanting/needing more expensive presents. I’ve explained to them that if we do a no spend September then Christmas will be less stressful for me
@@anaveragemuppet I think that’s great that you’ve explained that a simpler September will help for Christmas. A potential good lesson for the future too that sometimes we have to make sacrifices financially to get what we want 😊
@@KirstyKirby I just shared your video to my friend and told her that if I wanted something instead of needing it, I’ll put the money in a higher interest account and by the end of the month I will have forgotten all about it. I explained it to her like I’m paying my future self and she said she’ll do it with me!
@@anaveragemuppet Ahhh that’s brilliant! It’s amazing how much we forget about those things we wanted if we just sleep on it for a day or two. Nothing wrong with having things we want from time to time, but we can use our money in such better ways than some of the nonsense we all end up spending on. 😊
Too much spending on makeup..this influencers 😫😫 so shall join in no buy for sept. Hope I stick on it.
Good luck Azra.
telling each other not to spend money will lead to recession. Spending is fine just live within your means.
Jonathan - a few people deciding to readdress their spending habits for 30 days is not ever the cause of a recession - come on don't be silly, you're directing your annoyance at the wrong people.
At no point have I ever suggested people live this way permanently, if anything I massively advocate for living within one’s means and buying mindfully so your negativity here is a bit odd. If someone needs to save money for whatever reason and doing this helps, they shouldn’t feel they have to keep the country afloat by buying crap they don’t need, that’s just ridiculous, besides the few people that watch my videos aren’t that powerful as to impact the entire worldwide economy in just one month.
