Here. You saved me from going to the mechanic and lots of time. I lost 4 fuses because of this. Every time i moved my visor, i lose my radio, key fob. access and light. If you didn't post this video, i would have dismantled my entire sound system. It took me 5 minutes to repair it. Thank you very much.
Dude! This video totally saved me. I replaced the sunvisor and everything went out in the car. No power and couldn’t start the car. I could not figure out what happened. I even went through the fuses. After seeing your video I rechecked the room fuse and sure enough it was blown. Thanks man!
SO i was having the same issues with my car... although the room fuse wasn't broken, the two prongs on the fuse had corroded so i replaced it, and thank god everything is working now!
Thank you very much for this video. Same as last comment. I bought a new visor from Amazon. I plugged it in and blew the fuse! Thank you for showing me the fuse to change easily.
I had this same exact problem. My old visor broke and I tried to replace it with one from Amazon. I guess the wiring on the new visor was bad, because it blew the fuse. Thanks to this video, I knew exactly which one to replace!!!
I have a MAZDA 6 2015. The lights on the doors aren’t illuminating. Everything else is working perfectly. Just the illumination lights where the window & door locks are. Only in the front. Any ideas??
No that won’t be the room fuse as that controls a lot of other things as well that you’d be having issues with if it was that. It’s possible it could be the actual switches itself
@@acetechauto7 That makes sense… I can live without these lights. It’s not worth bringing it into diagnose the switches. I’m sure it sounds like the switch. I tried hitting/tapping it to see if I could get them to work… Thanks 😊
@@acetechauto7 , due to a broken Sun Visor that wouldn't stay up. The two wires inside the sun visor that supply's power to the vanity mirror light was shorting out.
What do I check if all the fuses are good. None blown? Room fuse (under the hood / 2008) is good? if the fuse isn’t blow there can’t be a wire issue, right?
Same issue as this video. No interior lights, radio has no power, key fab not working, trip meter resets on every car start. Room fuse (or other fuses) are not blown. Not sure if it could be a wire short of fuses are not blown.
Your fuse will only blow if a power wire touches somewhere but you can have a broken wire and still not blow the fuse. That’s going to require some deep checking unfortunately.
@@alyllisestivajaa5107 sorry for the super late reply. No this did not help. Still having the same issue. Going to pull all fuses one at a time and see if I can find any that are blown.
I have the same problem. Except my fuse looks good. Changed it out same thing. Prior to this happening i was taking out my door led light with a new one and it fell through the hole. I struggled to get it, and ended using a flat screw driver and inserting it in the slot of the light to bring it up and back into the hole. Tried many times, even got a spark out of it, gave up and just pulled the panel to plug the light in the socket. Too late bcs now nothing works? Help pls. I was trying to fix my car and only made a small problem worse

Just did the same to the wife’s car today, shall see if this was the issue. Thanks for the video! Will update if it’s solved within a day or 2.
No problem hopefully it solves your issues!
Yup, that was it! Just have to make sure you chase the line down to where it shorting out! Had to learn the hard way!
Thank you, I checked all my fuses but this video had me double check the room fuse just to see which indeed was blown
Glad you got it figured out

Thank you so much! You just saved me a ton of aggravation. This is exactly what was going on with mine. A little tape and done!
Nice! I’m glad it worked for you!
Woww same exact problem. Thank you so much posting this video
Thankyou, you saved me from a big problem god bless you
Glad it helped you out
how did you fix it? i have the same exact problem, my sun visor was ripped off but i’m not sure how to fix the problem with the wire
You can just unplug the the connector from the sun visor

Do you suppose it’s that “ROOM” Fuse?

I did this also, but still blowing room fuse 15 amp. I removed driver side broken sunvisor but it keeps blowing the fuse HELP
You will have to keep checking all those other parts linked to that fuse that might have a short and causing that fuse to still blow.

@@anthonyz7023 the driver Sun visor is normally the one that goes on these and blows out the fuse. Glad you figured it out!
@@acetechauto7 , 🙏 thanks
What about on a cx5 I have the same issue and mine doesn’t say room
You would have to find which fuse is burning out on that one

I guessing its something with my dtiver side door light. Lmk what i can do to fix it
What’s the exact issue you are having? Just your door light isn’t working or all your other electronics not working also?
Having this issue as well! But my boyfriend was changing out the battery. Still can’t figure it out. Ideas?
My CX-3 electrical has given me nothing but headaches since I purchased the car from the dealer.
Electrical issues are a big pain in the ass and very time consuming hopefully you get yours figured out
@acetechauto7 hey will it stop your car from starting?
@ronaldjamesjr.9995 no it won’t keep it from starting
I thought you had the actual answer instead of what I would do anyways
That is the answer
