Living in Ventura County CA I fish the Channel Islands all my life (43) and I’d love to come that way to hire you to fish for a couple days on whatever boat your captaining I work in the marine industry as a fabricator /mechanic doing stainless Fab and maintenance repairs on trailer boat to 48’.I’ll find a window when I’m not busy and let you do your thing . Pelagic fishing is freakin’ awesome but just like I heard you say before bottom fishing for meat sounds amazing .we can’t deep drop here per Cali rules , think they max us at 350’ and all the best stones have been band from commercial and civilians in our waters.... One day brother one day!

When you go tuna fishing next season. Bring ice with you so you can cool the fish down.

I know they’re different fish, different type of meat, and sell for different prices, but how come the same in-depth swim, bleed, gut, ice-down process isn’t done for Yellowfins (mainly the big ones)?
What stops a shark from just swimming up to the boat and eating the tuna while its tied there?
How did he sell it for ?
How much were the 2 fish worth?
Do you not worry about shark's leaving the fish tied to the boat?
