When the fishing is this Fantastic, do you really need a soundtrack?? The symphony of screaming reels is the best kind of music to most people's ears anyway!! I love seeing you down there in your "Natural" element Joe!! The enthusiasm you have is just amplified by the fishing in Venice, I don't think we've seen you this excited for quite some time, maybe even ever!?! It is wonderful to see you starting each day with a smile, that's how it should be no matter where you live!!

When we boil any shellfish- you throw them into an ice bath to ensure that the meat doesn’t stick to the shell of the animal. That flavor thing sounds great but there’s an actual science to this.

I use to mate a charter boat about 20 years ago. I wish I still did it I had so much fun doing it. I miss fishing so much now I just wish I could afford a trip with you all. I will keep watching just so I can enjoy the fishing.

I wish I was motivated enough to record the charters I mate on and start my own RUclips channel. If you think about it’s pretty much endless content. An acquaintance of mine just started running charters this year and is excited about recording them (he already has a small channel going). Good luck on your future endeavors. Hopefully once we get a trailer made for the new boat and someone gets cdl’s we can trailer down and fish out of Venice for a week or two.

What kind of Cast Rods and reels do you guys use to fish for tuna?

Pour a can of coke on the mahi when it loses its colour and see if it lights up again, I saw a guy do it with a mangrove jack he knocked on the head and it lost its colour, a can of coke and it went bright red again, no joke

Don't laugh at the guy who ran aground. There are two types of Capts....Those that have and those that will. Gonna be you someday if you fish multiple locales.. Wahoo was a unit!!! That pin rig was our everyday in Key West. I often ran an eight inch shot of #7 wire and used the wire for the pin. We have too many Hoos and Kingfish to go straight mono and on the troll it didn't seem to bother the Sails and Tunas
