I was just out off of San Diego a couple weeks ago and we ran into a beauty of a yellowfin bite. Just hooking up on 40lb tuna for 8 hrs until we decided to call it quits.

There is a need. We need to hear if the client is actually gaining line or just turning the handle and hearing up the drag plate. We need to know if the fish is running or at a standoff. Clients don’t know how to communicate what the fish is doing well enough. We don’t have a choice, we have to leave it on
