Joe, your videos are fantastic scrambled or sunny side up, and I've been following you for a fairly long while now!! I'm liking the Okuma representation and wish you very well with their sponsorship!!! Keep 'em coming, Sir you deserve the best, cause you are the best!!! Cheers from Canada - Dave
Damn Joey, been waiting for this video! Saw all the sneak peaks on Instagram. Your video’s are awesome no matter! Your style of video is always all over the place but that’s because you and capt Bob know how to fish and you can always hear the enthusiasm for any fish on. Keep the videos coming Joey! Let’s blow this channel up in 2023!
I appreciate that Ron! It means a lot, I really appreciate the $10 too, you have no idea how much your support is needed right now. You are the man ron
JoeVT, Nice Work Man ! You're not the same Guy gettin' started in JAX a bit ago. Ever improving content is why you got the sponsor deal. Still savin' nickles.
That third Wahoo swung in with that older dude in the back corner sketched me out!! Killer fishing man and its so weird to see them come out of that dingy green water. Doesnt get any better than that fishing and anyone who has ever thrown a dart has had one of those dandy throws!! 😅
Man , if I didn't know better I'd say the wahoo migrated around Fla straights and back up into the Gulf. But, I, don't know any better. I'm probably out in left field, still love the Wahoo, love um!!! Great vid AGAIN JOE .!!!
Dang what a fight. Those folks got their money's worth on that trip. Hay Bob pipe down Captain, Joey V Ts gots dis.😅😅. Great trip guys thanks for sharing.
I'm watching this video feeling down because I haven't been to Louisiana to fish for tuna in 10 years. Then you bring out the crayfish. YOU know how to hurt a guy Joe! Ha . Now I just gotta get back there.
I just found your channel. I’ve been fishing the same waters as you guys for a long time. What really impresses me is you guys seemed to avoid the sharks. Very well done!
thanks for watching!!! unfortunately we dont do that as well as it appears. the day before we hooked a fish on a 50w (which is what we dream of, fighting giants on spinners sucks and is painful) that we fought for an hour 50 ft under the boat
Unreal!! I got so pumped when you said you were going to free gaff one lol!! You’re the free gaff legend!! Anyway, another banger man!! Did y’all finish the crawfish or what lol
It's hilarious now....when I herd you say "a 92 lber who is ridiculous " and you landed a 110lber a short time later....Joe has a yellowfin out there with his name on it!!!! It's a called a Monster!!! Joe has a 200lber in his future!! He's on FIRE!!!
Great video Joe, I’ve followed you for a couple of years now. You definitely put the work in thank you sir. How far out are you guys fishing? Water looked green.
all of this shelf fishing for big tuna is within 25 miles. water color doesnt mean much for us, we catch these fish in coffee water sometimes. the water color gets crazy bc of the mississippi
@@joevtfishing Thank you sir. Down here in Texas the Gulf gets blue pretty quick. Makes sense with the Mississippi, never considered that factor. Thanks for all your work you’re definitely a fish catching machine. Best of luck for all your ventures out of Venice.
I finally realized why some ppl freeze their fish. This happens when you limit out with big fish. I WRECKED shop today at tiny little bridge in Sarasota Florida. Caught my limit of 5 mangroves but 2 were 17 inches. Way to much meat for me and my wife. Getting 3 dinners out of it.
Love your videos, Joe. Question...I noticed that you bleed tunas immediately but not the Wahoo. Is a there a reason for not bleeding Wahoo or does it just not make it onto vid? Does it matter if they're bled or not?
Always heartbreaking when you have em right there and then something breaks. That’s fishing though. I didn’t really think the video was all over the place, I liked the heavy action. The first video speed up caught me off guard and I though the line broke.
Joe, I am new to viewing your channel. I have been binge watching it and love it!!!!!! Your cool, calm style and enthusiasm are fantastic. I have a channel on RUclips with my friend called From The Tide To Your Table. We fish up north out of New Jersey. I'm a certified master chef and concentrate on cooking our catch. I knew Paul Prudomme and love his seasonings as well. That said check out the channel. I would love to fish and cook with you on our show or yours. One episode you asked for cooking advice so reach out any time. Keep up the GREAT CONTENT! Stay safe out there and we'll see you on the water soon.
@@joevtfishing Just watched your Geoduck show from a few years ago. Geoduck may be my favorite all time thing to eat. You did a great Job! Lets stay in touch and let me if you ever get close to us in NJ your welcome aboard and at our table.
"embrace the suck" -- makes my back hurt thinking about it... Ever been sharked right at the boat side while bleeding out a fish before pulling it aboard??
Hey Joe what is the spinning rod and reel combo, and test # line you guys are hanging those tuna on ? Wow great a fight and video ! thanks brother. if that don't excite ya nothin will
Hey Joe I’m trying to do offshore fishing charters, how do I get to where your at? I have a lot of experience offshore just don’t know how to get from where I’m at to where your at. If that makes any sense.
Yeah 92lbs wahoo is really big my biggest wahoo was back in 1980- 1982 that weighed in at 115lbs me and my uncle caught about 5 to 7 miles off ritidian point, Guam. I thought it was was a small pacific blue marlin and we caught it on a Penn 16/0 reel with 180lb main line and 600lb wire leader.
Nice fish. I live on Guam its wahoo country and when it goes off every year its a special place. I have fished a ton in the Bahamas for wahoo which I have cought bigger wahoo over all but not the quantity that you can catch on Guam.
It’s always a good one when bob is yelling in the back😂😂😂
So are you saying every video is a good one? 😂
Dude, you said, if we made it to the end. I could not stop watching. I can only dream about this type of trip. Thanks for videoing and posting!
thank you for watching!!
Keep up the good work Joe!!! This beats "Wicked Tuna" into the ground....
Joe, you are the ultimate PROFESSIONAL! Keep up the good work!
😂😂😂 he’s like stanzfam except without ever getting laid or actually learning how to fish just working on charter boats
Joe is the best YT fishermen by far, no one puts meat on the deck like him. can’t wait till when his channel explodes and he gets what he deserves

As high grade as you can afford. You get what you pay for a 20000 size or up Makiara, Stella, twin power, etc. I wouldn’t go under a Saragossa

What kind of rod and reel are they using to catch fish that big
Hey Joe. Another epic video as usual. What model okuma popping rod and reel was that?
That was on a DTR spinning rod and a shimano saragossa
Embrace the suck? Should be suck the embrace! Really really nice fish!
That harpoon miss made it so much better! LOL Epic battle!
I didn’t enjoy it at the time 😂
@@joevtfishing Nice job!! You didn't fish Jax Beach pier as a kid did you? King fish?
Or seeing anybody ever in my life but I will harpoon from 14' away from the fish with that much of a prize trophy online boy what poor discipline
Incredible.
Thanks man
Okuma !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn’t think y’all had a bad shark problem like here in Florida!
Oh my lord it’s as bad as it gets here too.
Mmmmmmmm crawfish 😋
