If considering a monohul, this got to be a dream boat. Not just for high latitude sailing, as people keep mentioning. Rough weather occurs also in the Caribbean and the aluminium hulls are sturdy yet low maintenance anywhere. I love, that Alubat now has included the deck saloon option. One room for improvement: Now you got that nice technical space/ storage room it would be awesome to have a bigger (longer especially) hatch, so you can dump a full size bicycle into it without having to dismantling the whole thing.
@@SAILINGDIRTYBIRD No, it absolutely does not, and Garcia/ Allures are on top not full aluminium hull boats, like Alubat are: They are build on the same yard (Garcia and Allures) and both are aluminium hull with GRP deck and roof, and that is by the way a price point decision. Still, even though Alubat is the no compromise build and more complex, because it is all aluminium, it is still slightly cheaper compared to same model size than the equivalent Garcia.
Love the boat. Would have liked to see the engine room and bathroom space. I feel the mainsheet design is a big compromise on this boat. Great for cockpit space but a huge weak point being attached in the middle of the boom.
@@alubatamerica At that price (€ 838,835) I would be buying the Boreal 44.2 (prolly 44.4 when I'm ready to buy) instead. I thought Alubat used to be the "bang for the buck" (The English say "value for money")? Hard to win in Marketing department when your boat doesn't offer price advantage over superior boats in same size category.

Fantastic!

Canadian owned boat? Nice
Garcia Aluminum Sailboat is THE BEST.....
@@SAILINGDIRTYBIRD OVNI are good compromises, Garcias are more expensive
I really like this boat I wish I was not too old and too poor. Otherwise I would be off on this boat in the big blue.
Hi Rob. brilliant video. love the boat. how many have you sold? sure it's exceeding expectations?
Are you not working with Privilege catamarans anymore?
Nice boat by the way, hope we will see soon a video on the Ovnicat 48 and Ovni 650.
There are two boatyards in Les Sables d'Olonnes, France - Privilege and Alubat and we work with both.
The color of the 430 is slightly normal, but the arrangement of the panel and the window in the window are simply.
Is it possible to have reflective diesel heater in the boat, please?
yes!
Is it possible to select Furuno electronics, please?
Yes.
Great boat but why go for the low salon option? Seems to at least somewhat defeat the purpose of these robust cruising boats.
This was the owner's choice. We hope to have more opportunities to show off the raised salon option in the future.
