- Tour the Ovni 370 aluminum sailboat built by Alubat. From the raised salon interior to the modern reverse bow design, this 39-foot sailboat is truly exceptional - not to mention she sails like a rocket ship!

I absolutely love the 370 - it's my #1 choice for my retirement boat.
Another great video of a superb ovni by the best presenter, thank you Rob 💙
OVNI 370 reinava absoluto entre meus barcos dos sonhos, agora tem um concorrente a altura: Bestevaer 36. quem dera um dia eu precise me decidir entre um ou outro!🙏🙌
I absolutely love this boat - well done
Beauty!
Fantástico!!! Gracias Rob!
Love it.
Mega coole Yacht. Das Konzept mit der erhöhten Sitzposition im Decksalon müsste auch in der Ovni 400 angewendet werden.
Hey Rob! Will you publish a video of the 430 hybrid that was displayed in Cannes?
Yes - it's in the editing queue!
How customizable is the 370? Can you lower/ angle the hard dodger more? I know you can go with a canvas dodger but I like the idea of a hard dodger. I just don't like how bulky it looks. Kind of ruins her lines.
Yes. The nice thing about aluminum-built boats is that the design is not restricted by molds as in other production fiberglass-built boats.
WOW! She flys! 9.4kts in 18 kts of wind off the beam!! Thats Catamaran levels of performance. How well do the chines hold the boat on a heel?
That's exactly what the chines do, and the boat tracks beautifully.
😃👍👏👏👏
Beautiful boat. Can you show how the slanted companionway doors work? Can you close and lock it from the inside when in rough weather? Is it waterproof when closed?
We failed to record the procedure but it is very simple. Pull the door straight back and simply lay in over the companionway. It is waterproof and can be done from inside as well. Owners report that they often leave it open because of the weather/rain protection provided by the hard dodger.
thank you , looking forward to more videos with 370 :)@@alubatamerica
For cold climates do they provide the option for insulation?
Insulation is standard, and additional heating is optional
Is Alubat related to garcia yachts at all? This looks similar to the aluminum garcia 45
No, they are two separate French boat yards. Alubat has been building aluminum yachts for 50 years and continues to innovate with new 100% aluminum builds.
The main reason to prevent me from buying is the indoor color matching and design of the indoor color, white, dark gray, black, cobalt blue, metal. I can only evaluate this very creative, especially the design of the salon table. Its folding seems to be full of snakes.🤣🤣🤣
Great video but it would also be helpful have at least a base price shown, something the Pogo Structures and RM builders do.
Thanks for you comment. We do have a price of a well equipped 370 on our website. In fact, we have prices for the full line of Alubat boats. You can find an example of a fully-equipped Ovni 370 here: alubatamerica.com/ovni-370/
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Very informative price listing.
I don't like the look of the boat, I especially find the bow ugly, but the overall concept is fantastic, a great boat.
I do like the layout BUT man aluminum boats are a corrosion nightmare.
The fact is that if it is built using the correct aluminum alloys and welding wire, like Alubat does, an aluminum boat will be stronger and last longer than any other material.
We cruised more than 15,000 miles on our aluminum Kanter built sloop. FWIW...We have another 30,000 miles on FRP boats. The only issue we had with our aluminum boat was managing topsides paint. Keep it bare like most Alubat's and avoid the hassle of taking care of a paint job or gel coat. It's just a maintenance hassle. We had one small issue with corrosion and we simply cut it out and welded in a new piece (size of a quarter). Did the job in one day. Our aluminum boat was strong, safe, quiet and powerful offshore. We're going back to aluminum for our next boat. From this global sailors perspective, aluminum beats all other materials.
