It's better to soak the (raw) nuts before using them to remove the natural toxins they have. You can easily find for how long to soak them with a quick Google search 🙏

Raw oats are difficult for the body to break down, and the enzymes in your saliva and stomach end up breaking raw oats into even more sugars. This is why store-bought oat milks, like Oatly tend to be sweet while not having any added sugars. They are processed with the same enzyme. May I suggest first toasting the raw oats before blending. This makes them more easily digestible and won’t spike your glucose levels. Also, adding a touch of black pepper to your oats further aids in the digestion of them. I learned these principles when I cooked in an Ayurvedic kitchen.

I had COVID in July…here we are in March and I still have no taste. What I do eat tastes bad so I’ve been eating oatmeal, eggs, grits, peanut butter on toast. I think this drink will be a winner I’ll be able to eat an apple disguised by the other ingredients. Thanks
*Problem*: Oats contain phytic acid which blocks iron and other minerals from being absorbed by the body. *Solution*: Let the oats soak over night (or at least 30mins) in that milk or any other liquid 😉
