Hi Dan! I've been struggling to get prospects in the IT industry. I have a startup Technology firm(Cloud, IoT, Data Analytics). I have a few clients now but it's not enough. I've been trying to cold call, cold email..etc nothing seems to be working. Can you make a video talking about the best methods in this field. Should I start investing in marketing? Or other companies that will expand our network? We're currently developing a new product as well. Maybe niche down in that segment?

@@icedlatt3 You're proving my point. It's taught at Universities, which is optional. It needs to be taught during grade school, before people turn 18. Before people are sent out into the world, and have to sink or swim. Think about the classes that are finally available once we're adults that we really should be learning at the age of 5. You don't think that's done on purpose? Then if it's made available at grade school level, notice it's always an elective class and not mandatory.

    - Always Provide Something More Than the Customer Expects
One of the easiest things that you can do to increase the number of customers you have is by offering bonuses with your products. Every consumer loves to see the company going the extra mile. Just providing a product or service is boring. It’s much more positive for the consumer to see you providing an extra bonus with the product that excites them.

Great advice Dan! Usually, I don't wait for their response of choosing. I lead and made them choose things which I want to them to buy. Often, I would skip to choosing or selecting as this will risk to a turn-off. Thus, I usually sell by asking them to imagine the product they will be using and choose the colors or finishing like, "So, are we going for the blue or black?". This will create an atmosphere where they have already made the choice to buy sub-consciously. By the way, I am in furniture retail.

I have seen this video many days ago and applied this technique on my Fiverr Gigs/Services and literally got great results!
My selling was completely stopped but when I saw your video, I RESET the prices of all my 3 packages (Fiverr let us set 3 different prices for one service).
I set, Basic, Standard and Platinum version of prices for the same gig and got the target in mind that my main goal to sell is the middle one that is "Standard Service" and you know what, believe me, my middle service (standard) started getting sales within few days.
In the past, I used to set 3 different prices but I didn't target any particular one. I just used to set lower, higher and highest prices without having any target in mind and so does found no results.
You gave me great knowledge! I will always be very thankful to you.
Since last week, I was continuously thinking that, from where I learned to target different prices? Actually, I totally forgot that from where I've learned this technique, I was searching in my udemy courses:), But today, I got remembered:) I searched your channel and voila:)
I am so happy that my confusion is gone Alhamdulillah!
May God Bless You Always!! Stay healthy, wealthy and so happy!

I think sells have to do a lot of confidence, sells shouldn’t never be pushy just find it the need and satisfy of the customer or client.

Hi Dan. Question here . What if there are 3 competitors side by side. Selling the exact same product from different manufacturers. Let’s just say my pricing is $500 and the other is $400 and $300.
What do I do when a customer sends in a message saying, “how much”? Because whenever I quote my price, either the customers don’t reply me or they tell me others are selling way cheaper than that.
I have to make massive amount of effort to sell them. Does this conclude that my price is absurd? Or do I have a bad product that I am selling? Because if the product is good, it will more or less sell by itself ? Appreciate a feedback thank u Dan.

Maybe you can increase your position by buying more units from your wholesaler which a lot of time your supplier will give you price breaks. You can than afford to quote at a lower price for your customers.

      y is theirs cheaper?
what is so special about yours?
are you solving any new problems at this higher coast?
as a customer pitch to me that your saving me $ at 500$ a month. try that. worth a shot.
never about the $. save me officer, save me mr fire man. so save me with your product my dude

This is where marketing and advertising come in. You should have a unique selling proposition that will make your product stand out and communicate your products uniqueness to your market effectively. That way they will not care about the price, but rather the value they think they bought..Very impt to study the industry of ur business. Macro and micro economics.. Including how to play games in the monopolistic competition you are in.

I can understand this pretty nicely & accurately... I also bought a course of digital marketing that was d middle one cuz that was the enough one that I needed & d cheapest one didn't had it & d costliest one had more than what a beginner would actually require... That's how it works & actually I also like that middle course because of enough value for justified amount of price😍... Dan Lok d closer king👑
