What an amazing tutorial!! I'm about to purchase a SE 1900 and I crochet. I was wondering how I would be able to add embroidery to my crocheted wears!! What a blessing and the bonus is you taught us how to do this without the software! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Hi Adriane! So glad to hear you enjoyed the video! I can only imagine how amazing your hats will look! My mom loves to crochet. This is something that I definitely have to learn myself!!!
I’m so glad it all worked out for you, it’s so difficult to trust people anymore. They can come across as being the nicest people and you think everything’s okay but you’d be surprised what different sides they have to them. Thanks so much for sharing ❤❤❤
Hi Jeanette, im a new subscriber. This is such a great video! I appreciate all the time. The hat came out beautiful. Def will try to do it. I've never embroidered before. You are amazing and inspiring 😊 mil gracias 🧵
Loved this video because also it showed me how the 'stretch knit' reacted with the no stretching of the name embroidered. I do like to use the regular sewing feature on the 1900 and sew both stretchable 'which uses a ball point needle' and no stretch fabrics 'regular point'. The reason why you use a ball point needle when sewing on a stretchable fabric is because a regular point needle will hang/snag or mess up stretchable fabrics. I have noticed that you said you don't really sew clothing so I'm only adding this in because I thought you might like this info, if you didn't already know it. There are special stitches that do stretch with the fabric. The brother 1900 will have these stitches in the regular sewing section pattern selections, included in the machine..an example is the zig zag stitch. It's very stretchable. Anyway, I would recommend using a small fonts as you did here because where it is embroidered, fabric is not going to stretch.
I like the video, great job. You would still have to use the software to do fluffy material because the frames don’t know down the inside of the material inside the frames right? Would like a link to the free software of embrillance to try before buying. Thanks for all you do. I’ve learned so much from you and you have a great personality for doing videos.
Another top-notch helpful video. Thank you so much. It was great to learn how to add the frame and name without using software. I didn't know!!!! By the way, thanks to you I now have all my hoop descriptions edited in Embrilliance! :)
I guess Im asking randomly but does someone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my login password. I would love any tricks you can give me.
@Holden Henry i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Great video!! my machine will be here tomorrow! And My first project will be a beanie So glad I found your channel new subscriber!! What is the font that you used in This video?
Should I use topping over the top when I do it on a knit hat? I didn't see you use it in this video. Or is that what the underlay serves for what the topping would do?
Hi Patty, If you are using a frame you can just put in the name inside the box. I would stitch the box out first to keep the fabric stable for the name.
No you don't need to buy somewhere. The machine already has some designs installed that you can use. And there are many websites that sell embroidery designs. They are inexpensive.

Thanks so much you saved my account !
I have the PE800 brother and I have other brothers machines and your machine you have there look the same as the PE800
HI Butterflychick! Yes. The SE1900 is the same as the PE800. The only difference is the SE1900 serves as a sewing machine as well.
On a different video, you showed us a BLM Fist you did fir your son. I was looking for where you got that file?
Hi Bridget, I purchased the file from ETSY. They have many different styles.
Thanks for this awesome tutorial. Can I use my Magnetic Hoop for this type of project? Also, do you not use WSS on all your projects? Gracias
Yes you can! I only use WSS on towels and knit hat. If you think the material is thick and the stitches will sink in then I would use it.
Great video!! my machine will be here tomorrow! And My first project will be a beanie So glad I found your channel new subscriber!! What is the font that you used in This video?
Hi Ashley, This is font I purchased from Stitchtopia.com. The name of the font is Mayah #2.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts Thank you! You are doing great I love your videos!! You have taught me a lot about the SE1900. I got my machine today!!
Should I use topping over the top when I do it on a knit hat? I didn't see you use it in this video. Or is that what the underlay serves for what the topping would do?
Hi Tammy. If you are not using knockdown stitches it is highly recommended to use the topping so the stitches stick out.
Jeanette how would it stitch out since there is no back fill in the box
Hi Patty, If you are using a frame you can just put in the name inside the box. I would stitch the box out first to keep the fabric stable for the name.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts Girl I am slowwwww. I'm a newbie. LOL if there is a blank box what do I use to fill it in?Sorry for all the questions
Great video! Do you use WSS on top of hat to keep stitches from sinking?
Yes I do. I recommend double up on the WSS because this stretchy fabric.
What is WSS?
Where I need to buy?
I have everything linked in the video description.
Do you have the Convert It; MAC software also?
Hi! I Embrillance works on the Mac. Don’t need to do any converting.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts thanks! What weight if embroidery bobbin thread do you recommend? What is your favorite embroidery thread?
For the bobbin thread I have been using 90wt. I usually use Simthread and Madaria. I plan on exploring and trying other brands.
@@BoricuaSewingCraftsMy se1900 is shipping on the 16th!!!!
@@queenmcfarland That's exciting!!!! You are going to LOVE IT!!! Happy for you!
Where did you get your sticky stabilizer?
Hi Linda! I purchased it from Amazon. The brand I use is called World Weidner.
Sorry I couldn't hear the name of the font. Could you please tell me? Thanks again for your class👍
It's Mayah.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts Thank You so much
What size needle did you use to embroider your knit hat?
Hi! I used the 75/11 needle for the knit hat.
You need to buy a software to do image.
No you don't need to buy somewhere. The machine already has some designs installed that you can use. And there are many websites that sell embroidery designs. They are inexpensive.
You sound to low on this video
thanks for letting me know.
